Ivar vs Bronson last year was one of my favorite matches. Those guys were putting on a PLE performance on an episode of Raw.

Ivar has been amazing on his solo run.

Depending on your definition of MEAT there are a bunch of dudes in NXT they could call on too. Dijak, Briggs, Jensen, Duke Hudson, Luke Gallows, Von Wagner are all big tall dudes. Coffey is a wide boy. Breakker and Ridge Holland are meaty. Indus Sher are huge. Rope in an alum or a legend like Rowan, Great Khali or a Gene Snitsky and you have yourself a meat stew going.

How does Apollo qualify for this???

Honestly yea why not. Bronson and Ivar in particular have been killing it this year and deserve some type of mania match/pay. I wouldnt be mad at it.

Both have been holding it down on Raw, and Ivar especially did a great job of getting over as a singles wrestler after Erik’s injury.

Big fan of Ivar after his recent singles run. Dude is legit in the ring. I think his gimmick holds him back, but I don't even think he needs a new one altogether. Just maybe tone it down and make it less campy. Imagine him with the character of something like Thor from God of War: Ragnarok. Just a big, stupid, bearded, half-drunk badass who is tired of everyones shit and just happens to be a viking.

I’ve been thinking for a while that Viking Raiders need to go less Viking and more metalhead/biker with Viking influences. They’re already physically intimidating and fantastic in the ring, but the gimmick has midcard all over it.

They could easily fit into the same kind of role as the Acolyte Protection Agency from the Attitude Era. But honestly even if/when Erik comes back, Ivar has definitely shown himself to be an amazing singles competitor.

That's how they started in the indies iirc. Now it's like they are lifted out of Epcot's Norway pavilion.

If Braun’s healthy perfect way to bring him back

Those three guys in particular deserve for it to be on the card. Bronson and Ivar especially have been working their asses off wrestling a ton of matches and have put plenty of guys over. I think you give them this 10min showcase similar to the tag showcases last year and take it seriously with no gimmick adds (ie: Tozawa, Nia, R-Truth) and just feature 5 or 6 big men with 1 or 2 being surprise adds. I would go with: Bronson Reed Ivar Otis Omos Braun Strowman (if cleared) Baron Corbin (again, he's done great work in NXT as well) -OR- Jinder

Does everyone have to be 300lbs, or 260lbs? - Omos has to be in it. - Braun for sure. - Bron Breakker even though he's 250lbs. It would be a great showing to propel him in the main roster. - Indus Sheer. Veer and Sanga are both huge units. - Brutus Creed, if the Creeds don't get a Mania match. - Authors of Pain. Akam and Rezar are both huge 300-pounders. Plenty of meat in NXT as well. - OTM, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price are both big boys. - Donovan Dijak. Can't have a meat feast without Dijak. - Oba Femi. Can't exclude the North American Champion. - Duke Hudson. Big guy. - Joe Gacy. Has to be in it.

Omos was at the Rumble and his in-ring work has been improving so I can see him being there. Braun Strowman would be nice if he could be cleared in time. It’d be a feel good moment if he won but I’m pretty sure he’s only just started lifting weights again so that’s unlikely. Big E. Same as what I said for Braun. Solo Sikoa being eliminated early could maybe tie into the other Bloodline related matches at mania. AOP would be a no-brainer. Bobby Lashley would be nice but he’ll probably have a match against Kross. Bron Breakker could maybe be a surprise entrant, depends on what they have planned for him at Stand and Deliver.

Back when the Cruiserweight Classic happened I thought a Super Heavyweight Classic done the same exact way could be a lot of fun.
