\*in a few months\* WHAT IN THE HELL? WHO IS THAT? IS...IS THAT? WHAT THE HELL IS VINCENT KENNEDY MCSTAN DOING IN THE IMPACT ZONE!?

snartling

Vince buys TNA. Brings in Brock. Brings in Styles by promising to keep out the gay community. ????? I don’t know what happens next but I suspect it ends with Vince dying in the ring in an extremely gross and/or extremely funny accident

ShinigamiBK201

Vince shits himself in the ring and Pitbull performs.

snartling

Just before his breath leaves his body, he and Pitbull simultaneously blow their quads. And somewhere, out there in the wide, wild world, so does Shane.

unlizenedrave

The Aristocrats!

TroyMatthewJ

hilarious.

DrClawsChair

My quad sense is tingling.

fluffynuckels

And blow a quad or two

mikeputerbaugh

The Franchise throws him around by his halo a bit.

olivecrayon87

Vince whips out his wrinkled pecker and violently urinates on the crowd.

alaginge

Calls himself Steamie Ray McMahon.

cottenball

Vince and Flair go out like Thelma and Louise

senorbuzz

I’d buy my first ever TNA PPV to watch those two drive off a cliff.

snartling

A wrinkly, coke-and-steroid-fueled, dick-helicoptering and pants-shitting Thelma and Louise

Uknewmelast

THE GAY COMMUNITY?!

this1smybrutal1ty

>Brings in Styles by promising to keep out the gay community. Lol what? Is Styles known to be homophobic?

Funkyc0bra

I Hope I am right when I say that alit comes from a Q&A and a fan rings in and i'm unsure if trolling or not asks asks how AJ feel about being a role model for the guy community, j replies in a confused voice "The Gay Community??" And then the host cuts the guy off and they move on I think AJ was more confused at what was said than offended and annoyed As I say I hope I'm right if I'm not someone tell me

Chelseablue1896

Nah, he was definitely annoyed. AJ has had a lot of homophobic moments and said slurs before.

BlackSheepComeHome14

ThE gAy CoMmUnItY?!?

Madonkadonk2

Mr. Anderson's father!?

CesareSomnambulist

Voodoo Kin McMahon

TroyMatthewJ

"what are all the " OJ DID IT" signs about?"

PurpleTornadoMonkey

Impact zone jokes always cheer me up, thanks lol.

thejimmygordon

McKroenke

refuseresist

Today will be the day that not only VKM fully left/was purged from WWE but the Arizona Coyotes left for Utah.

Swantonbombthreat

damn the coyotes finally packed up?

refuseresist

Yes. Their GM told palyers today before the game in Edmonton.

TopherRocks

Neat, we'll have a team playing here and I'll get to go whenever the Islanders are in town and be the heel!

cyclicamp

They’re going to Utah, but they never said they’d stay in the same league. Now we know what the money is really for - the XHL

refuseresist

4 minuite major for stabbing the opposing player with a skate

smut_troubadour

The name on the contract said "Hockey League"

SailorsGraves

By now you should have somehow realised what you gotta do

refuseresist

This is what my Dad said before he left for cigarettes. :'(

Lovebanter

American sports is a hellscape

NSAseesU

Uh what lol.

daprice82

Everyone's wondering what new wrestling company Vince is planning to buy or start, when in reality, he's probably just cashing out and moving all his money and assets to safe places for the inevitable fed case he's facing.

Turbos_Bitch

This. Moving money off shore gets expensive.

Powderkegger1

I mean yeah maybe. But he hasn’t been brought up on charges yet, his lawyers are going to stretch a trial process out for a long, long time, and even if found guilty what are they going to fine him *2 Billion*? Who’s he saving it for if he goes to prison? He doesn’t give a shit about Linda or his kids. Edit: Looked it up, largest criminal fine in American history was the pharmaceutical company Pfizer paying out 1.195 billion. The case, and I am not a lawyer, seems to be over them failing to label their drug Bextra as increasing the risk of heart attack or stroke. As serious as Vince’s crimes may be, I don’t think it will register on that level.

PaisonAlGaib

The cases against him right now are all civil there are no criminal charges at all at the moment. We’ve seen evidence that is damning publicly and maaay be able to reach the preponderance of evidence standard of a civil trial but I have a hard time seeing getting a conviction in a criminal trial where the evidentiary standard of beyond a reasonable doubt is much higher. That doesn’t mean he’s innocent it just means it will be very difficult to convict him.

DTFlash

He probably has some kind of Non-Compete. Usually when a company is bought\merged you can't leave and start a competitor. I can't imagine him getting forced out because of his conduct would negate that.

kingmidget_91

I thought his non-compete was posted somewhere on the Sub, and it was for 12 months from his departure from the company last year.

OldhamB

He's in his 80s, he's not starting up an other wrestling company.

Spid1

He's not going to have to pay out THAT much even if he loses every case

elgregerico

He's probably seeing his good friend Donald getting hit with repeated massive fines and penalties and freaking out

moffattron9000

He's like Pierce Brosnan planning for being exposed for his crimes in The Thomas Crown Affair, but instead of them being cool art theft to impress Rene Russo, it's horrifying abuse.

OnslaughtSix

You a Blankie?

moffattron9000

yes

OnslaughtSix

haha, thought so, because who the fuck else is referencing Thomas Crown Affair in 2024?

moffattron9000

People who like good movies.

bucsfan4ever12

All time great heist film

Previous_Reporter_63

One share price is around 100 USD so is that 800 million USD? What the fuck he is gonna do with this?

realtennisguy

He already has 1.7B from the previous two sells. So app. 2.5B total.

PhatYeeter

He's buying a sports franchise

WisestAirBender

Dudes almost 80.

whatsgoingonjeez

He didn’t hear no bell??

kungfuhustler

There's no league that would allow him to buy a franchise with the current legal case still being unresolved.

Hot-Acanthisitta5237

He's probably creating trust funds for his family.

fuwoswp

Probably poop on it, then make it write him a love letter?

MrPea106

Def starting a new North American based organization with all his goons back in

Romofan88

Which goons would that even be? Dunn and Laurenitis?

kingmidget_91

Who'd be the main draws for a VKM promotion? Besides Brock, who could Vince join him?

IronThrombone

You never know you could be very surprised what wrestlers would join a hypothetical Vince company.

PhatYeeter

Marty Scrull will be his top guy

kungfuhustler

I think he's done with wrestling, but a ton of people would still work for him. Especially if the money's right.

Bobmanbob1

Shit, if the money's right I'd work for the sleazebag. Just because I'm getting bank doesn't mean I have corporate loyalty!

haven4ever

Moxley first to sign /s

TheUltimateScotsman

Theres no way its Laurenitis, his defence is throwing Vince under the bus and presenting evidence against Vince

whalepopcorn

Somehow WWF returned…

Ilikegreenpens

Despite what he's done it would be so interesting if he starts a wrestling promotion

dirtydandoogan1

Nah, buying Epstein's island and starting that little meat market back up. He's definitely had his introduction to the human trafficking game.

TonyVSCoco

100m to the pandas to get the wwf name.

Jaymesned

Imagine Trump wins and Vince buys a spot as Secretary of State.

LeChampeon

World Wide Wrestling Entertainment coming soon ![gif](giphy|TtNEvVmvZedu8)

CanalVillainy

Sports Entertainment Xperience more likely

VagrantShadow

He's going to make a yearly PPV, Sports Entertainment Lunacy!

Kaprak

Greater context from the article - There's also Nick Khan and board member Steve Koonin shares up for sale - Just because shares are up for sale doesn't mean they will be sold. - "Registering the shares for sale allows the public to buy them and therefore might allow McMahon, Khan, and Koonin to get a better deal and to complete any transactions with less administrative friction." - The shares up for sale for Vince atm are about $786m. Nick's are $23m. Steves are $344k.

PreemoisGOAT

Nick cashing in his pay day

SantaCruznonsurfer

so real talk, what happens if Tony Khan or Jericho or someone tries t buy them? Is there some exclusion that prevents that?

yoosufmuneer

They could but nothing would change in the WWE because Endeavour holds the controlling stake.

MrPea106

I doubt that it’s their personal money

dirtydandoogan1

Honestly being the company's competition, yes the SEC might block that sale.

SpooferMcGavin

As far as I know, there is no such restrictions. For employees it may be against company policy to buy stock in a competitor, but it isn't illegal in any way unless there's insider trading involved (Like if an AEW wrestler found out WWE was going to buyout AEW and they then bought stock in WWE knowing the share price would go up).

kinzunight

Shit Vince really is going to start a new company isn't he?

GameplayerStu

"You're out, Vince." Green Goblin Vince about to wreak havoc.

tubashirokuma

Vince rolls up to Stamford In a green goblin suit. "Out, am I!"

TheNightlightZone

I'm something of a ~~wrestling~~ sports entertainment promoter myself.

FrankieJoePino

Apparently he can't enter the wrestling business for a year after he officially has no more business in TKO

DudleysCar

Yeah, one year no compete. Also, he always wanted to do things outside of wrestling anyway. It's just that he failed every time he tried. I expect he'll try again.

cheeseburgertwd

XFL 2020 was looking pretty good till the pandemic hit

GuyLivingInCanada

But I don't think it was VKM. Commissioner Luck was pretty solid and still ruffled feathers when he ran it.

qmcat

but can he sports entertain?

Griffdorah

World Roller Derby Federation

dirtydandoogan1

Well, he never got his bodybuilding fed off the ground. His only other passion in life besides money.

iguessineedanaltnow

I thought it was one year from the day he got fired not one year from the sale date.

Mariuxpunk007

People as a collective (specially wrestling fans) have proven over and over again they are quickly to forgive and forget. A year is enough time for Vince to somewhat “recover” from the lawsuits and invest his money in either a new promotion or back up an existing product like NWA (as they have a record of not giving a crap about what people think of their ways to do business). I don’t think we have seen the last of Vince in wrestling yet.

OffTheMerchandise

I do. Unless he starts schmoozing up the Shad and buys AEW out from under Tony, anything else would be too much of a downgrade. The talent pool doesn't exist for another major promotion, there really aren't any broadcast partners for another major promotion. NWA and TNA are too small and I don't really think injecting them with more money would be able to get them to a level that Vince would associate himself with.

fergoshsakes

Who gives him TV/streaming? What talent can he sign, and who wants to go work for him? Those seem like the two biggest obstacles.

bonerjohnson

there's oddly plenty of people that got cut that HHH didn't feel like using but Vince did..... like an Elias or Moss or something how many would actually do it you never know I guess

WisestAirBender

It's all about money and clout man.

I_Went_Okay

Velveteen Dream, Joey Ryan, Marty Scurrl and Lesnar?

NotYujiroTakahashi

Here some I can think of. Del Rio, Riddle, Drake Younger, Lars Sullivan & Travis Banks

Zandercy42

Real Aggressive Professional Entertainment™

Griffdorah

If he pays money comparable to WWE/AEW, he can get top tier talent. Simple as that. Vince has just as much or more money than Tony Khan.

Ilikegreenpens

Money talks especially if he let's people wrestle for other promotions

StevieNippz

Getting TV might be tough but I don't think he'd have trouble getting most wrestlers. The likes of John Cena and Becky Lynch are still defending Vince, I don't doubt they would do a favor for their little cult leader.

Bastion66

Becky never defended Vince. Stop blatantly lying and spreading that shit.

fender-b-bender

The moment he started selling his stocks, my first thought was he was going to try and buy the NWA

Turt91

Yeah but will he do with the other 8,021,395 shares of profit?

fender-b-bender

Buy James Mitchell cocaine of course

Deadleggg

He already had enough to buy every other promotion except AEW because no chance Tony would sell yet.

dirtydandoogan1

I put the NWA out of business PAL! And now I own it! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Cinemairwaves

NWA

EntireAd215

Anybody that works for him is crazy

Anderrrrr

He buys NWA.

cleo_rise

He's gonna buy XPW and do all the sick depraved angles he wanted to do

dirtydandoogan1

Rob Black will take his money, then just keep him whacked on coke and whores.

Deadleggg

Vince McMahon is All Elite

iguessineedanaltnow

You know there is a certain segment of wrestling fans that would absolutely love that and be all about it.

PayneTrain181999

When Tony sells AEW to him.

Such-Box3417

Don’t give them ideas

Deadleggg

Shad steps in and sells it.

Landeyda

Oh please. Please God. This would be the funniest thing ever. Please.

No_Trifle9294

Not that farfetched. WB gets sick of the constant shooting themselves in the foot and decides they're pulling them off TV. Shad Khan gets tired of bankrolling Tony's vanity project. Vince comes in on the firesale and assures the networks that he can get the ratings up. Bucks get fired. Profit.

senorbuzz

Your fantasy booking is so sad

angIIuis

Kinda scared LOL

dcnoob122

Scared for what?

angIIuis

What is he gonna do …

dcnoob122

He’s gonna buy AEW

fluffynuckels

He's stupid rich but I don't he's that stupid rich

thebsoftelevision

Vince has the money to do it but TK would never sell in a million years.

dirtydandoogan1

Gonna partner. Like the story with Vince and Flair. lol Vince will run Dynamite, Tony will run collision. And we'll get Brock Lesnar vs. Hulk for the first big supershow. lol

mrandre3000

He’s either getting into politics with Donald, starting up a wrestling promotion with the Saudis, moving to the same island Russel Simmons lives on or is going to die alone with no wife or family that care about him. Even Stephanie seems like a victim in all of this — I’ve met a woman whom was groomed by her father to prepare for a certain status in life, by men of all ages. Is really sad what wealth and power enables people to do.

gorgeoff

Vince heard the phrase 'professional wrestling' on his tv and wants nothing to do with it

robonlocation

They also said hospital instead of local medical facility.

Drewicho

And he saw Michael Cole having fun.

TheUltimateScotsman

This is what broke him

WisestAirBender

These are the facts people have been saying for years and years in WWE facts top 10 videos. Surreal to actually see them spoken now

Hangmanned

I still wonder how Ari got Vince to resign seeing as how stubborn and out of touch Vince is since TKO couldn't actually fire him as per his contract

Suspicious-Mango-562

Likely had an out clause in the contract. We can’t get rid of you unless these specific circumstances arise. Guess what, they arose.

wix001

They probably had enough to get rid of him again but once the sponsors were threatening to leave they also pocketed the WWE's ability to make business into litigation, TKO had several justifications to kick Vince already for sure.

Enterprise90

Because Vince still cares about WWE and its future. And if you're wondering how to reconcile that with his allegations, beats me.

snartling

Oh it’s simple. He still doesn’t think he did anything wrong, it’s “I’m not gonna let that bitch hurt my company too” because he’s brainrotted like that

BubbRubb4Real

......Is Vince about to control his narrative?? 😧

rainier425

People keep saying he’s going to start a new wrestling company but guys he’s only 78 I say he’s still got at least two failed attempts at a football league left in him.

tehfro

TheEmeraldRaven

I’m really curious why Vince even sold the company in the first place if he didn’t want out? Like if he still owned it, couldn’t he have done whatever he wanted? Allegations be damned?

No_Commercial_6750

Obviously going off of speculation, but the biggest theory is that he sold the company thinking that Ari and the other higher ups would let him retain complete control of WWE after he was kicked out the first time. Ari instead (whether it was because of the earlier hush money scandal, forewarning of future scandals like the current allegations, or just because WWE was just better off without him) kicked him upstairs and left WWE's day-to-day operations to Nick Khan and Paul Levesque.

FigureFourWoo

Sponsors were tapping out. His departure was necessary. They were about to lose Snickers. Even with his voting shares, he would have been forced out due to the damage it did to WWE stock prices. Vince wanted to sell the company while it was at what he perceived as the peak, before television rights deals, and the end of the Saudi deal. He expected to remain in power as long as he wanted to be because in his mind, nobody else could run it right.

PreemoisGOAT

Slim Jim

dalici0us

If he sells those shares at the current price, he will have made abouf 2.5 billion dollars in the last year or so.

Romofan88

Vince is a complete piece of shit, but he's still human. I could see the survival of his creation being the 1 thing he valued above himself.

WisestAirBender

People say a lot of things about him. But there's no doubt he invested everything into WWE and not just money

jerff

At the time of the sale he thought he was going to be allowed to continue to run the show as he always had.

dirtydandoogan1

The company was never important to him. Just money and power. He never stopped being that poor trailer park kid who got beat by his mom's lovers.

Turbos_Bitch

Liquidating assets and moving what he can off shore. Vince is done with wrestling. No sponsors are gonna have anything to do with him.

ComprehensiveBowl476

Do you think WWE has a copyright on the Vince McMahon name?

DarkHorse_77

It was renewed for 10 years in 2017 if I read this right. Regardless, WWE seem to own it https://trademarks.justia.com/781/01/vince-78101420.html

Chance_Loss_1424

It’s his legal name though. Also that trademark notes they have his consent (the world is a fucked up place) and I doubt they’d have it if he wanted to start or buy a promotion. Didn’t someone say he’s got a 12 month noncompete though?

Abyssalstar

Yeah, but that gives him 12 months to lay the groundwork.

realtennisguy

That's his real name though. They can't stop him. He won't be able to use Mr McMahon for sure.

[deleted]

IronThrombone

There’s no grey area when it’s your legal name.

moof1984

I am fairly certain i remember reading when the deal was first made that he retained the rights to his name, voice, likeness and life story.

Superplex123

I'm going to buy 1 TKO stock so I can say I own more of the WWE than Vince McMahon.

Dingle_Flingle

I'll give him 27 bucks for them

VNProWrestlingfan

Everyone is spectaculating where Vince will go: https://preview.redd.it/9c9cjre7j5uc1.png?width=299&format=png&auto=webp&s=ae8dd995cd9602af4681533ffedc39aa114001e8 I'm still surprised that old fuck is gone from WWE forever. I remember when we thought they will keep his head alive into the next century.

TheWholeOfTheAss

Not only Vince. The whole McMahon family is out of power. It’s Ari Emanuel’s company now.

-SexyBeast

Can TK do the funniest shit here?

DanTheMan901

“Thanks guys. I am proud to announce the Bald Asshole Era is over. Also, fuck you CM Punk, you’re fired (again).”

JayFlash1234

Buy TKO stock? I mean seems like a decent investment.

Apprehensive_Tip2092

I’d be super surprised if he didn’t have some

jerff

Probably the only shot he has at making money in the wrestling business.

Neutreality1

Oof.

l2au

Good riddance

JRockstar50

Vince McMahon is All Elite

linkinstreet

Tony Khan sir, there is someone wanting to meet with you. He said his name is Mince VcVaughn.

olivecrayon87

Pence O’Woman

lostpasts

I don't know if you can even buy a non-profit, but Vince should buy the World Wildlife Fund just so he can finally claw back the WWF trademark.

FrankieJoePino

I guess we can expect updates on the lawsuit in the next weeks

LetMeSmashThatHobo

Vince has the opportunity to do the funniest thing.

DLPanda

Vince is 78 years old, his reputation is in tatters, he’s not going to start a new company. He’s just going to enrich what remaining time he has left and also pay off any legal issues.

Reishun

There's no reason for him to keep any shares now, he doesn't have enough to take control, he maybe has enough to influence board decisions but it's unlikely, so may as well fully cash out whilst the stock is high.

MR_E7

We're almost there, folks.

dirtydandoogan1

Vince has had issues since his upbringing. In the end, he's only got a few more years left and the only reason he needs the billions is so he can feel like a success. Money has become his sole driving force, the only way he can keep score. It matters to him more than his marriage, his children, his grandchildren, and everything his father ever worked for and stood for. I hope it was worth it Vinny. Because you can't take it with you.

jmpinstl

We’re almost to the finish line with this asshole

boltsbearsjosh

What’s Mince Vickman doing in the Impact Zone?! You have no shot! No shot in Hades!

Boogledoolah

Oh my God! The new August 1st warning? Ex-Chairman Vin Smackman? It was me, Moosetin! It was me all along! Oh sunofabitch!

Vince buying another wrestling company would be the funniest thing ever.
