This is the coolest ever. Reminds me of how I got into wrestling. I went to a church after school till my parents picked me up while in elementary school. The teacher/lady that watched us kids was a huge Ric Flair fan. On Fridays we got to rent movies from the local rental place to watch. She would always get WCW ppvs for us to watch too. That’s how I fell in love with wrestling. Shout out to Ms. Aycock. Wish I could let her know how much she influenced my life with it.
The Wrestling Club is one of the coolest things in this hobby right now. I love seeing these kids develop a passion for this kind of thing. I bet a future world champion is in this video.
I love how they start out in the seats but are right in front of the projector screen by the end.
Them yelling for Will to do the tiger driver a second time 😂
This is fucking awesome... An entire generation of new fans are going to grow up watching guys like Will Ospreay tear the house down every week.
Pro wrestling is so back.
Will has always come off to me as a good dude, that's why I was never into his runs as a heel, not in Progress, WCPW, or New Japan, his matches were always good, but Will works best feeding off the crowd's energy, and his moveset is prime babyface stuff.
This put the biggest smile on my face. I felt like I was in the room with them cheering and having a great time. It definately reminded me of when me and my special needs bro were watching Dynasty!
I feel obligated to post some objection any time The Wrestling Club comes up.
I like the idea of this account in theory, in practice it is getting these children a ton of attention and putting them at potential risk. IMO they are too young to understand and consent and I suspect their parents don't fully get the reach of this account, if they were even asked for their permission at all.
I work in education, I think the idea of posting children as content is extremely at odds with the idea of being a good, protective educator. If I found out someone was recording my child in a private after-school club and posting it online to an extremely popular account, I would bug out at the adult responsible.
Yes, watching wrestling at school is cool! But children at an after-school club as content isn't to me.
When I was a kid, I had the newspaper come and take our photos of almost every camp/after school thing I was a part of. When I became a teenager (early 2000s) my soccer and baseball leagues would post clips and even full games sometimes on their website to promote us. Children have always been content and used for promotion for after school type activities.
Now, if you want to say that this is specifically different in the age of social media/Youtube/Twitter, I'm with you that it's not as simple, but it's also not unique to The Wrestling Club. Groups like the [PS22 Chorus](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0FPZolbYns) for over 15 years and [One Voice Children's Choir](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUQheX3PSnY) highlight their kids, even pages like [the California Department of Education](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNakxApjtHc) highlight kids and "put them at potential risk" as you would say.
I understand erring on the side of caution, but just because it's not something you would do as an educator doesn't mean it's not something done by good educators.
Every time my children have participated in an extracurricular club or sport, as a parent I am given a notice that pictures may be taken and posted online and I'm able to consent or not. I'd hope that this has the same policy and the children who may not have given consent aren't excluded because of it.
Right, but giving consent for stuff to be posted =/= giving consent for your kids to be micro wrestling celebrities who go to shows and get cheered etc. I’ve seen them at GCW shows. I think there’s a chance parents don’t fully get the reach and scope. This isn’t their picture being posted in the schools newspaper, this is a relatively new phenomenon that caregivers probably have zero context for.
Strongly seconded.
I don't care if it's opt-in.
We have the technology to share it privately with those involved.
Sure it might end up public anyway, but I expect that it would happen a lot less if it was up to a single parent in the community making that decision for all the parents.
There's absolutely no reason this should be posted publicly by the educator.

Eating pizza and watching wrestling at school sounds like the coolest shit ever
I know right. Wish I had a teacher that cool
I bet you did. I'm sure it's not easy for a teacher to have permission to run that club though.

That's incredibly cool! I wish I had a Ms Aycock during my childhood.
I’ll give ya Ay Cock right now playa
Oooooh get over here big man ☺️
Hits the 91 The kids: One more time! Damn bro! 💀
The kids are alright.

I love that notion that a future world champ is in this vid. Completely agree. The long-term booking will be bigger than Cody.

I noticed that too. That was awesome to watch. We literally saw the build up of the match with them as they got closer to the screen and standing.
Little dude asking for a second Tiger Driver was out for blood LMAO.
This is too relatable haha, man I love wrestling.
Love every second of this
On their feet!
This is beautiful so happy for these kids!!
Man I watched that entire thing with the biggest grin on my face. Awesome

i like how they are kinda 50/50 on the yes chant spot.
It was just like the building. I'm blown away
This is absolutely incredible! The kids reacting like that shows why this match was so special 6.5 stars and worth every bit :)
I hope he feels the same way about me and my 40 year old friends also screaming and jumping up and down and chanting at the screen like these kids do.
Ospreay might be the biggest babyface in the Sport outside of Cody Rhodes and I fucking love it. Will Ospreay is Wrestling.

Did the kids start rooting for Bryan mid-match, and then re-align with Will? :)
first time i've heard 'Finish him' chants haha

I'm so happy wrestling is cool again
