I feel like currently Sami is far away from the bloodline business. He’s tried to move on and he’s succeeded, doing his own thing now. I know he’s still buddy with jey so firstly jeys got to trust Roman’s bloodline and then convince Sami to join him in the fight against bloodline Wolfpack if they need another man. Will HHH be able to book all that before October/November with it being logical and cohesive? I would love a face bloodline with Sami, full circle moment.
Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are biologically cousins and are adoptive brothers. They are indeed related by blood, they're just adoptive brothers and not biological brothers.
I am wondering how far they'll expand the geographic reach of the criteria for membership. First it'll be Aussies and Kiwis, next you'll have Papua New Guinea, then the Philippines and Indonesia.
I can't name any Thai wrestlers off the top of my head but at this rate I'll definitely be able to by WrestleMania 50 when he interferes in Jacob Fatu vs. Hikuleo.
It has now that Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, famously not related by blood to the Fatus and Anoa'is, have joined. The only thing they've really got binding them together is coming from *vaguely* the same corner of the world. Even the Johnson branch of the dynasty aren't related by birth, only by blood oath (but the clue's still in the name, the *Blood*line).
>Also maybe google what bloodline means lol
>Yes the Rock isn't blood related to the Anaoa'i/Fatu family and is still considered family, the Rock also calls Haku his uncle
You're really showing yourself up to be a twat here.
Yes the Rock isn't blood related to the Anaoa'i/Fatu family and is still considered family, the Rock also calls Haku his uncle, Haku is the father of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa so thinking that they are in the bloodline for geographic reason is a truly braindead take.
He really is. When he was coming up he was against other big guys like Taker, Lesnar etc. When he was in the ring after the Wrestlemania main event stood next to Cody, LA Knight, CM Punk etc. he looked MASSIVE
I remember thinking Ciampa was pretty big in NXT but when he came up for I think Survivor Series, I couldn't believe how badly dwarfed he was by Randy.
To be fair, Tonga is genuinely a big dude, but Randy is fucking HUGE! 6'5" billed and probably legit. Probably a legit 275lbs too. It's easy to forget just how huge Randy actually is.
Tell that to JR.
''SIX FOOT SIX, 320 POUNDS, EVOLUTION'S ANIMAL!'' was pretty much said every time the opening note of Batista's theme song would hit in 2003-2004.
It's what the announcers called him for a long time when I started watching in 2013. Matt Striker, JR, and Josh Barnett have said the same in later shows.
I'm not arguing it. I think Jay White and Lio Rush are both better at it now, but Tama Tonga adds that extra character to it. That extra insane aspect. So I've been keen to see him and Randy Orton go head to head with their psycho personalities in the ring.
I'll add that during the time Tama Tonga was called that, Jay White was still a Young Lion, and Lio Rush was still fresh in Ring of Honor.
A lot of the bloodline personnel bar Roman and maybe Jey are fairly limited workers.
Tama had plenty of great opponents in NJPW but couldn't get above a 3-4* level consistently.
That's literally the definition of being limited in this context, being restricted to a certain calibre of something.
I don't mean they're bad, they all have really solid fundamentals and good athleticism but they lack the skills and timing that elevates a matches storytelling in singles matches.
They can consistently work a decent match but rarely produce a memorable standout match.
You don't have a single clue what you're on about.
Limited wrestlers do not put on consistent 3/4 star matches. You'd be lucky to get above a 2 if you're a limited wrestler.
Limited wrestlers would be like Ultimate Warrior or Kevin Nash.
Different people have different limits, there's degrees to everything. You're picking examples from a very different era of wrestling as well.
It's funny how so many people can't understand how the word limited works and just take offense to it's usage right away.
I think Tama is a guy that’s probably more suited for WWE than New Japan where the expectations and standards are a bit different. He just found a really good thing that lasted a long time and made him a ton of money and put him in the history books as a GOATed tag team wrestler. So for a long time, he didn’t have a ton of incentive to make the move. Now that he did, he’s in a major spot. If we use the old Rockers example, Tama is the Shawn Michaels of GoD. His brother is much more limited.
A 3-4* level is still good. I think we (as a whole) have gotten a little spoiled if we're saying that someone is limited because they put on matches that are *only* good instead of fantastic.
You was complaining about interferences, I said Attitude Era had way more of that. Surprised you didn’t notice that considering how long you been watching wrestling
In that case, it's a silly thing to have in his official ring name
I feel like he needs more time being known as just Tama Tonga, it's not like it's a bad name on its own
Just for reference to the fine geographers on this sub:

People were shitting on Tama Tonga. Is it cause he’s not a moves guy and he was in Japan? Cause he was fucking great in that match. His facials were top notch
Best Defensive-style player in Wrestling. I think JR called him that back in 2013 or 2014, and the name stuck during his time in NJPW.
Dude is genuinely a fantastic wrestler and he hypes the matches up well.
You must have missed post match threads the last year in New Japan. Tama has honestly gotten great as a singles wrestler in his last year in New Japan. He has honestly improved so much from a couple of years ago where I would agree he wasn't that good of a singles wrestler. His feud and matches with Shingo Takagi were particularly fantastic (their Wrestle Kingdom match just gone was a real sleeper gem of the night outside Okada vs. Danielson in my opinion). But he also had really solid matches with Kazuchika Okada and Jay White, among others. Glad he's keeping his momentum up as a wrestler in WWE.
Nah, I've been watching since the mid 80s. Granted, I've not seen much of older NWA and teams like the Road Warriors, Midnight Express, and Rock n Roll Express, but I'm just starting my viewpoint.
This was had ass from the entrances, to the crowd singing voices, to The brawl, to Aldo’s making the match a no DQ 🔥
From beginning to end it was such fun match, everyone involved kicked all sorts of ass.
I mean it’s gotta be a Civil War now right?
Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Solo Sikoa
Vs
Roman and the Usos? (Or if one of the Usos isn’t joining up with Roman, he gets Fatu)
Or if Solo gets Fatu as his 4th, who would Roman have to even the sides?
I just don’t see Jey going back to the Bloodline unless maybe for a one off like War Games. Maybe Roman/Jimmy/Jacob vs Solo/GOD
Edit: oop maybe I can see it now lol very interested in seeing where Jacob lands in all lf this though
The match was insanity!
Paul Heyman’s facial expressions throughout the match me good lol. I know you’re not supposed to be feel bad for him but damn, I do feel for Paulie here!
I assume he's going to be the 4th for the rogue bloodline. You got the leader (Roman/solo), the brothers (usos/Tonga and Tanga) and the "outsider" (Zayn and Fatu).
As I expected, someone would interfere. Didn’t expect Tanga to be it. I like this direction of The Bloodline. Under my tribal chief, there was an orderly disruption. This version is more ruthless. Clearly Roman is coming back when ready to restore order to his Bloodline as a face.
A very fun match...I do wish Tonga got more offense. The offense he did have was really good but he got beaten up a lot for a guy debuting as a major threat. I think that he could have shined a little more, but the match was very fun, and a great finish
Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are Haku’s sons (Tama is adopted i believe) Haku isn’t blood related to The Rock or Roman but the Rock considers him family and he was on the bloodline family tree
Tama is Tanya’s biological cousin but adopted brother. Haku is Tanga’s biological dad, Haku is The Rock’s cultural/spiritual uncle - that’s how it all ties up
So I believe in real life it’s based on a blood oath between the Maivia and Anoai families, so the rock isn’t technically related to them either. As far as I can tell that’s mostly just Samoans and these guys are from Tonga, not related even with the blood oath. I would imagine that will be part of the story.

Is Kevin even okay ??!!
What does mft stand for? Is it just man from Tonga
Mad Fuckin Tongan, I would assume, which would be accurate if he's living his dad's Gimmick.
My guess is mother fucking Tongan
I’m excited for an intra-Bloodline War Games at Survivor Series. Will face Roman need the assistance of the Honorary Uce?
Hikuleo coming up through the canvas from under the ring Kane style, calling it now.
At this point, we'll have more than enough Bloodline members to do a full on 5v5 match!
Really gotta suck being the least protected guy in a Bloodline carwreck match, Tama Tonga got 12 shades of piss beaten out of him
The call with them saying guerrilla warfare and destiny in short order, A+++
I'm bored of this inbred family.
Nobody in that match was related by blood, not even the actual brothers
Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are biologically cousins and are adoptive brothers. They are indeed related by blood, they're just adoptive brothers and not biological brothers.
???
im just waiting for Dakota Kai to join in
I am wondering how far they'll expand the geographic reach of the criteria for membership. Hikuleo.
Bloodline membership has nothing to do with geography.

>Also maybe google what bloodline means lol >Yes the Rock isn't blood related to the Anaoa'i/Fatu family and is still considered family, the Rock also calls Haku his uncle You're really showing yourself up to be a twat here.
No you just don't understand that family for these people has a different meaning than for us.
>Also maybe google what bloodline means lol
Well I know already that the blood in bloodline doesn't come from blood oath.
You really like to take things literally, don't you?
Yes the Rock isn't blood related to the Anaoa'i/Fatu family and is still considered family, the Rock also calls Haku his uncle, Haku is the father of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa so thinking that they are in the bloodline for geographic reason is a truly braindead take.
Joaquin Wilde backstabs LWO to join the Bloodline
The Anoii family has more than one legendary brother tag team
Spoiler: Solo Sikoa expands his NFT collection
Solo collecting Tongans like Thanos collected infinity stones lmao
Newest Fuckin Tongan
NFS non-fungible Samoans
Need for speed
I used to see Tonga as one of the big guys in NJPW. randy made him look like a baby.
Randy makes most people look like babies, he's deceptively huge.

Yeah, its fun to watch old Evolution segments and see the camera tricks they'd use to make ''6 foot 6'' Batista look like the biggest guy in the room.
I’ve been next to Dave, I’m 6’1” and there’s no way he’s 6’6”.
Tell that to JR. ''SIX FOOT SIX, 320 POUNDS, EVOLUTION'S ANIMAL!'' was pretty much said every time the opening note of Batista's theme song would hit in 2003-2004.
More like tell that to Vince, probably screamed it in his ear
WWE wrestlers as a whole are taller than you’d imagine
Loove tamas facial expressions. Looks like a lunatic
[удалено]
Was he?
It's what the announcers called him for a long time when I started watching in 2013. Matt Striker, JR, and Josh Barnett have said the same in later shows.
Ah i see. No he wasn't. I'd argue Jey White was waaaay better with this style
I'm not arguing it. I think Jay White and Lio Rush are both better at it now, but Tama Tonga adds that extra character to it. That extra insane aspect. So I've been keen to see him and Randy Orton go head to head with their psycho personalities in the ring. He’s like the Tuco Salamanca of the Bloodline. Dangerous psychopath energy. Paul Heyman is like Saul Goodman in too deep with the Cartel.
The end of this Bloodline arc is just Heyman >!getting 86 years in prison instead of 7!< isn’t it
is... is Brock his Kim? he's got the ponytail
Roman’s his Kim. Brock’s his Francesca.
What’s crazy is he never says a word but damn the facial expressions are wild
That's just because none of the words he'd like to say are allowed on TV
Really enjoying this match so far.
Fun match, but fuck they need to come up with something for bloodline matches beside interference, shit is worn out
A lot of the bloodline personnel bar Roman and maybe Jey are fairly limited workers. Tama had plenty of great opponents in NJPW but couldn't get above a 3-4* level consistently.
Calling someone who puts on 3-4 star matches consistently limited is silly.

GOD reunites within WWE and you fuckers still find something to complain about.
You could give wrestling fans a 100 bucks and they would complain about how it’s folded.
Naturally, if it's folded the wrong way or the crease is at an angle then it'll never feat neatly in my wallet.
So I should just be happy that GOD reunited even though it was done in a way that we have seen a thousand fucking times ?
You should watch the Attitude Era, they had interferences almost every match during PVP lmao
Been watching since the 80’s…. Not sure how the Attitude Era is relevant to the bloodline matches in 23-24 been same script every time
You was complaining about interferences, I said Attitude Era had way more of that. Surprised you didn’t notice that considering how long you been watching wrestling
I did notice it, but happened decades ago, so got nothing to do with the bloodline
You have zero reading comprehension pops. You were bitching about interferences in first comment. How plainly should I tell you lmfao
Welcome to r/SquaredCircle
The interference debuts have not reached the peak of the first hill of the Rollercoaster.
New bloodline, same interference to ever win lmao
Tanahashi is probably side eyeing the fuck out of Hikuleo right now.
WWE is collecting an entire Bloodline like Pokémon cards.
Cammmmaaaccccchhhooooo
Do we know what MFT stands for yet?
Motherfucking Tonga Another suitable one is Major fucking troublemaker.
No one knows for sure I think, but my favorite I've seen is Mad Fucking Tongans and it's what I've been going with
Maivia Family Tribe or something close. Definitely will include Maivia since this will be the Rock’s bloodline group.
Makes zero sense lol
MotherFuckin Tonga. Confirmed by Tama Tonga on his Insta bio.
Waiting to find out this is just like KMFDM, where they would say different things until one of them stuck, which wasn't even "true."
so its "MotherFuckin Tonga" Tama Tonga?
"My motherfuckin' Tongan" is more than likely meant when Solo says "my MFT"
Rest in peace in peace
So it's not Marriage and Family Therapist. I didn't think the Bloodline needed a psychoanalyst in the fold anyway
My Friend Tama. I know it’s not this, but I like to think it is.
My favourite Tama
So glad I'm not the only one who's thought of this lmao
MotherFucking Tonga!
Oh i thought it was makes french toast?/s
it's terrible how they really require fans to just find out on their own at this point. not everyone follows solo on Twitter
Sure but it's not like they can easily say "Motherfucking Tonga" on live TV easily
In that case, it's a silly thing to have in his official ring name I feel like he needs more time being known as just Tama Tonga, it's not like it's a bad name on its own
I thought it was obvious that it was Motherfucking Tonga since they never mentioned it on TV.. but people can't make deductions lol
Tbf there’s an argument to say they shouldn’t use it if they can’t say it. (Personally I’m not fussed either way)
Loved that match.
Amazing match until the end. Bloodline interferences are getting so old
They were old when Sikoa debuted 2 years ago imi
This wasn’t very good. Abd people are hyped for loa? 😂
Aew fanboys trying to troll is hilarious.
I’m not an AEW fanboy but I really don’t care for more bloodline bullshit tbh.
Go outside weirdo
Now that match kicked ass and was the perfect choice to open up the show.
Hell yeah, the brawl to start and Aldis coming out to make it no dq, had me hyped to start the show.
That match fuckeddddddddddd
That split camera screen was great, I loved that.
That Tonga spot with Owen’s with the chairs 😳😳😳
My god. My back hurt watching it
Just for reference to the fine geographers on this sub: https://preview.redd.it/5s0k9rf76gyc1.jpeg?width=1144&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3fe2aa8a42907ad32b37a949b5abd5739a898c8f
Is it Tonga time?
It's Tonga time.
Elite transition sounds...
![gif](giphy|tANpI4H9zlv1u)
I played football with both Samoans & Tongans and don't you dare confuse them with the other or be prepared to feel their wrath lol
I had the same experience playing rugby with Tongans. You definitely don't confuse the two.
Generally I found you just don’t want to experience them playing at all
People were shitting on Tama Tonga. Is it cause he’s not a moves guy and he was in Japan? Cause he was fucking great in that match. His facials were top notch
Dude is boring as hell as a solo act, thats the problem.
Best Defensive-style player in Wrestling. I think JR called him that back in 2013 or 2014, and the name stuck during his time in NJPW. Dude is genuinely a fantastic wrestler and he hypes the matches up well.
People are just outdated on Tama Tonga. His final year in NJPW were honestly full of bangers. I ended up looking forwards to his matches in the G1.
Look at his last match in njpw. It was a disgrace
He’s great when he’s motivated. Boring as hell when not. He looked hella motivated today.
Tama Tonga is actually a good wrestler. Just 4 months ago at the Dome, him and Shingo had an absolute banger and he more than held his own.
Fucking hell if they dislike Tama Tonga wait until they see Tanga Loa
And if they don't like Tanga Loa wait till they see Hikuleo
Then just wait till Kevin tries to even the odds by introducing his brother Chase...
He was the most WWE ready guy in new Japan. They are probably thinking of him in the context of being a WWE style guy wrestling in new japan
His character work is fantastic but he's not what you'd call a ring general. That isn't to say he's bad in the ring though.
This was a legitimately great match. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
5 if it were in the Tokyo dome?
Also too much story, not enough flips
Ah yes, Tokyo dome.main events, renowned for lots of flips and no story..
Will Ospreay had to be in it as well to get to 5
[удалено]
The Uso’s exceeded the Superkick limit for the next 60 days because of their WM match.
By far the best tag team street fight I've ever seen.
It's always cool to see new fans. You obviously just started watching in the last couple months to say that.
Nah, I've been watching since the mid 80s. Granted, I've not seen much of older NWA and teams like the Road Warriors, Midnight Express, and Rock n Roll Express, but I'm just starting my viewpoint.
This was had ass from the entrances, to the crowd singing voices, to The brawl, to Aldo’s making the match a no DQ 🔥 From beginning to end it was such fun match, everyone involved kicked all sorts of ass.
Roman’s return is gonna hit like crack in the 80s
I mean it’s gotta be a Civil War now right? Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Solo Sikoa Vs Roman and the Usos? (Or if one of the Usos isn’t joining up with Roman, he gets Fatu) Or if Solo gets Fatu as his 4th, who would Roman have to even the sides?
The official uce: sami
![gif](giphy|SnNfXnaYngMBZ5ZACe|downsized)
Sami and cody while solos side gets the final boss and fatu would slap
I just don’t see Jey going back to the Bloodline unless maybe for a one off like War Games. Maybe Roman/Jimmy/Jacob vs Solo/GOD Edit: oop maybe I can see it now lol very interested in seeing where Jacob lands in all lf this though
brah i gotta be there when roman comes back that is going to be INSANE.
That brainbuster has to be highlight of the night
Legit had me go “ Oh fuck that hurt” out loud
SHIT WAS WILD
That was a great way to start this ple
The match was insanity! Paul Heyman’s facial expressions throughout the match me good lol. I know you’re not supposed to be feel bad for him but damn, I do feel for Paulie here!
This is heading towards A Rogue Bloodlline Vs The Bloodline Originals. Now I'm interested to see where Jacob Fatu fits into all this
The Bloodline is fine!
The Bloodline does need a Jin Kazama and Fatu can fit that role
I assume he's going to be the 4th for the rogue bloodline. You got the leader (Roman/solo), the brothers (usos/Tonga and Tanga) and the "outsider" (Zayn and Fatu).
The outsider? Not the enforcer like Solo?
Could be but the problem is idk who would be the fourth on og bloodline in that scenario.
It's just extremely weird calling Fatu an outsider.
Anoa'i vs Tonga, you heard it first right now
Now that was a 5 Star match.
I absolutely love how ruthless and violent Solo’s version of the bloodline is. Reminds me of Michael taking over the family at the end of Godfather
That was a super fun opener. Tama took one hell of a beating.
**TRULY AIN'T NOBODY REALA THAN GUERRILLA!**
This was awesome, i didn't expect this match to be this good.
As I expected, someone would interfere. Didn’t expect Tanga to be it. I like this direction of The Bloodline. Under my tribal chief, there was an orderly disruption. This version is more ruthless. Clearly Roman is coming back when ready to restore order to his Bloodline as a face.
i never thought id say this, but im ready for face Roman
Dear God if the other Tongans are in play they still have Hikuleo then. And then Fatu too. They really do never run out of members, lol.
Bloodline will have more members than NWO
A very fun match...I do wish Tonga got more offense. The offense he did have was really good but he got beaten up a lot for a guy debuting as a major threat. I think that he could have shined a little more, but the match was very fun, and a great finish
I'm so glad they kept the street fight secret, and these dudes are actually insane. You know it's a crazy match when Randy is the most sane guy in it
Loved everything about that match
As Heyman said its just a beginning
Favorite part was Orton briefly pretending that he was gonna do a frog splash.
Tonga Loa instead of Jacob Fatu was not what I expected. Actual shock debut wow. Isn't he still with NJPW?
“Ain’t nobody realer than Guerrilla”
that match was actually completely insane even before the finish
Kevin Owens’ Reaction: https://preview.redd.it/4hfm0v3q4gyc1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ad6ec35a8482271158736a4d610de400c772fe7
Tanahashi Reaction too
That match slapped.
Holy fucking shit what an opening match
The Roman return and reunion with Usos is gonna hit like crack.
This crowd deserved a hardcore match tbh. Glad to see the opener brought the heat!!
Bloodline Firing Squad is gonna be nuts
And you call it the bloodline despite half the members not being part of the family? Yes.
So are the brothers not part of the family actually? I don't know how Tama Tonga relates to Solo and the rest
Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are Haku’s sons (Tama is adopted i believe) Haku isn’t blood related to The Rock or Roman but the Rock considers him family and he was on the bloodline family tree
Tama is Tanya’s biological cousin but adopted brother. Haku is Tanga’s biological dad, Haku is The Rock’s cultural/spiritual uncle - that’s how it all ties up
Haku's kids who the rock calls an uncle
So I believe in real life it’s based on a blood oath between the Maivia and Anoai families, so the rock isn’t technically related to them either. As far as I can tell that’s mostly just Samoans and these guys are from Tonga, not related even with the blood oath. I would imagine that will be part of the story.
Rock's Spiritual Uncleship
This is getting out of hand, now there's two of them!
