Small spoilers if you haven't watched yet. Ishii/Taichi was great opening match. I was really into it. Probably best so far. Yano is just very specific wrestler but I gotta say I kinda enjoyed this. Expected a little bit more from Zack and KENTA even tho it was decent. 2nd half was much better than first. Sudden tap out by KENTA surprised me. Not the result, just how quickly he tapped. Also, when he started picking Sabre Jr. head after couple pin attempts, you just know who is going to win. And main event. Wasn't the finish slightly botched? It looked like Juice wanted to do something different but couldn't lift Shingo up so instead he hit Pulp Friction again. Re: KENTA v ZSJ I thought commentary did a good job of pointing out that ZSJ doesn't stick with a hold if it isn't going to end the match. The 6 second rule they were bringing up. So with that info, the holds that he knows should be tapping people quickly. If you've ever been put in a legit hold it very much is tap/nap/snap

The new G1 schedule is probably easier for the wrestlers but I anticipate it being hard to follow with up to 10 day breaks in between matches for some guys

I think Juice ran out of gas. Couldn't get Shingo up for the Rock Slide. Can't blame him. Coming back from appendicitis and going into the G1 with Shingo right away is insane.

Crowd's been a bit out of it today but Shingo has had them wrapped around his finger which is great.

One thing I appreciate is that Juice is wrestling entirely like he used to, just with more aggression and attitude.

He played to the crowd more as a face trying to hype them up. Now he just moves on to the next move.
