I bought one with my first paycheck when i was 19. It's just collecting dust in the corner of my bedroom, but i think i'll still keep it as a reminder of my achievements.
Same that was my prized possession as a kid my little sister would always threaten she would destroy my Death Star if i didn’t do a certain thing lol😂 that was also the set where i learned why the bags are numbered 😂
Definitely the original Super Star Destroyer (think they made a smaller version more recently). Makes me sad you can only get them used for like $900 now. It looks incredible.
I want the small version, looks cool. A friend of mine had the full sized original one. Lost it and his entire neighborhood in a house fire.
He seemed really sad about the kit specifically.
I have recently figured out a way of building discontinued sets cheeper then buying the original sets.
You can find the parts lists and instructions online then buy all the parts directly from LEGO. Costs more than the original rrp but cheaper then aftermarket. Downside is no box
I would imagine so for older sets but I am looking at one for 14 yrs ago and have managed to get the bits. Some in the wrong colour but those you can source individually
It's usually the colour that's the problem. Tons of parts only exist in certain colours in one or two sets, which makes them really expensive on the secondhand market. And there are several colours that they don't even make anymore, like the original dark grey and light grey (which are especially problematic because everything in Star Wars is grey)
It is incredibly hard to move from one place to another. I have nearly all the Star Wars sets and this one is one of my favorites but it does have some very precarious sections when trying to move it.
The giant Falcon is no better. The first one that is.
Yeah I literally been buying sets since I was a kid. My first ones are from 1975. I have the older ones sorted in bags but over the last 25 years I’ve been building up stock. I have hundreds if not thousands of sealed sets from 1997 to now. I wanted my future Grandkids to know what it felt like going into a toy store and also as a future investment. It’s to the point now where I have 4 buildings full of Lego sets but investing in Lego is essentially better than gold.
I'm surpiaed your so low down in top comments that's what I came to say too. I had the one from the late 90s and I'm kicking myself I still don't have it. I'd hang it in my office now :(
I have always wanted to build a Lego X-wing. Any x-wing. I’ve tried with my humble Lego collection and have managed little mini builds but would love to sit for a long spell with an actual set meant to be an xwing.
That- or dagobah (with a xwing of course)
I had the X-Wing in the 90s as a kid. Then my sister took it apart to add to a house she was building and my parents told me I had to share since I had more Legos than her and I could use the Y-Wing for the same thing.
They didn’t seem interested when I explained that the fighters had different roles in combat and that if she wanted more Legos, she could always ask for them for Christmas or buy them herself.
I got the Dagobah one as a gift last year. Cool set but god damn I hate the swamps of Dagobah. 1x1 flat tiles and you place almost 200 of them for that fucking swamp.
When my local toys r Us was going out of business they had one y-wing left at 75% off. I grabbed that so fast. At the checkout line the cashier asked if I liked star wars and pointed to another box. It was the Black series TIE S/F from the sequel trilogy(non Lego). 90%off. It takes up way too much space but it is awesome looking
The original 1999 MTT. I *really* wanted this set as a kid. I loved the Phantom Menace and especially went wild for the third act where the Gungans and droid army fight. The scenes where the MTTs roll up and unfold their racks of droids always got me pumped, and I wanted to reenact that with Lego in my own Star Wars battles. This set also came with 7 battle droids, which I remember being astounded by at the time - that was so many minifigs for little ole’ 5 year old me. Any other set I had at the time maxed out at 2 or 3. A veritable army by comparison.
There’s an old set of Anakin on a speeder with some Tusken Raiders. Tiny little $5 set from when Attack of the Clones was new. Was one of my first Lego sets, back when that’s all my parents could really afford. Honestly I wouldn’t care nearly as much about any other set
Set 8002 a Technic Destroyer Droid/ Droideka That could unfold when you rolled it in ball form. And Set 10186 Which was a Technic Grievous Collectors set. Thanks to my collection of Lego visual dictionaries I was able to find the set numbers.
I’m missing a lot of pieces from different sets I used to have growing up, so I would have to say:
Naboo N-1 Starfighter and Clone Trooper Battle Pack from 2007. I miss the helmets with the opening in them.
The one I want doesn't exist yet. Nor do I think it ever will. I want a UCS AA-9 Freighter. 🥲
[so beautiful](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/c/c7/Aa9coruscantfreighter.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20091201131352)
Probably one from my childhood like [7255](https://brickset.com/sets/7255-1/General-Grievous-Chase) or [7259](https://brickset.com/sets/7259-1/ARC-170-Fighter)
You didn't specify only one of each, so that means I got all the boxes that were lucky enough to have the Gold C-3PO
Finally, it's mine even better, an army of gold 3POs!
Death Star no question. That was always the gold standard growing up. There’s far bigger and better looking ones now, but the nostalgia will always put the Death Star at #1 for me. TWENTY FOUR MINIFIGURES. I don’t think there’s even an actual set now that has that many. Correct me if I’m wrong.
The sets Speeder Bikes 7128, Mos Espa Race 7171 and Landspeeder 7110. In that order. Yes there are updated and better looking sets but these ones are particularly nostalgic because these are some that I owned myself as a kid.
I had other ones. But these were my favourites.
Man that logo was so funny and the ep 1 version even more so because Boba Fett didn't get released for a year or so iirc. And on the ep 1 version it had Queen Amidala in classic Queen outfit and I think she only got a minifigure a few years back 😅
That big collector's edition star destroyer that needs magnets to hold itself together. I was planning on getting it then the price seemingly doubled out of nowhere
The most detailed falcon possible... I had a Lego falcon from the late 90s that is worth SO MUCH money right now. And it's just gone I have no idea what my parents did with it. But I used to play with it all the time it didn't just sit on the shelf like I'd have it now.
I always wanted one of those death star 2s you can see the innards though.
The coolest set that I could never get to me has always been the big Executor/Super Star Destroyer set.
The shear legacy of the OG Death Star might be a close contender anyways though.
UCS Venator gotta be up there too.
After those three, maybe some of the bigger ground base sets, like Yavin IV? I like architecture.
Mos eisley (cant spell it lol)diner all day. I bought this second hand from a boot sale as a kid and didn't realise how important it would be to me, 3 years later it was swallowed by the abyss of my lego box then sold in bulk when we needed food. Now I jus need a quick 400 to get anything like it back, but would nvr be the same
Definitely building the Death Star first.
As an old fart, I almost bought that years ago. Not for my boys. For me.
This is the way.
This is the way
This is the way
This is the way
This is the Way
This is the way
This is the way
This is the way
Apparently they discontinued the death star so it's like 1k to buy now lmfaooo
If $400 was too much, $1k is definitely bantha poodoo.
Build it half way for aesthetics while you build the rest
I bought one with my first paycheck when i was 19. It's just collecting dust in the corner of my bedroom, but i think i'll still keep it as a reminder of my achievements.
Same that was my prized possession as a kid my little sister would always threaten she would destroy my Death Star if i didn’t do a certain thing lol😂 that was also the set where i learned why the bags are numbered 😂
Oh shit…that is a bad model to learn that lesson on. Sounds like a painful building experience 😂😂 “WHAT THE FUCK WAS IN BAG TWO?!” 😂😂
Definitely the original Super Star Destroyer (think they made a smaller version more recently).
Most old sets need parts that they don't make anymore
I would imagine so for older sets but I am looking at one for 14 yrs ago and have managed to get the bits. Some in the wrong colour but those you can source individually

I wish I could more of them but don’t have the space. Legos are so therapeutic.
Yeah I literally been buying sets since I was a kid. My first ones are from 1975. I have the older ones sorted in bags but over the last 25 years I’ve been building up stock. Id build them in order of when they came out lol
That’s an extremely fun idea.
Nah pretty sure I'm just autistic
Fun is optional and not mandatory.
Gotta be a Millenium Falcon.
I'm surpiaed your so low down in top comments that's what I came to say too. I had the one from the late 90s and I'm kicking myself I still don't have it. I'd hang it in my office now :(
If no one else said it, I would have. Such an iconic set!
Well youll be building a lot of those lol
The UCS AT-AT, then the UCS Star destroyer, after that the UCS Razor Crest and next the UCS Millenium Falcon.
Casually forgets about UCS venator
he’s probably an OT fan
I probably couldn’t decide. I think I’d instinctively pick a box. *Concentrate on the moment. Feel don’t think. Use your instincts.*
*Your eyes can deceive you. Don't trust them.*
I have always wanted to build a Lego X-wing. Any x-wing. I’ve tried with my humble Lego collection and have managed little mini builds but would love to sit for a long spell with an actual set meant to be an xwing. That- or dagobah (with a xwing of course)

Venator for sure
Came here for this. Can't believe I had to dig as much as I did for it. I don't know why, but this has slowly become my favorite ship.
The really good MTT from 2007. Such a cool set.
A Y wing, from the OT era.
4481 Hailfire Droid without a doubt. Those big ol wheels got lil Grundler goin'!
I have always wanted to build the malevolence
The original 1999 MTT. I *really* wanted this set as a kid. I loved the Phantom Menace and especially went wild for the third act where the Gungans and droid army fight. The scenes where the MTTs roll up and unfold their racks of droids always got me pumped, and I wanted to reenact that with Lego in my own Star Wars battles. Any other set I had at the time maxed out at 2 or 3. A veritable army by comparison.
Good call. Also, the arc170
The original slave 1 with jango fett and kid boba fett
Preach
Original Millennium Falcon.
That was one of the sets I never got as a kid, I had so much Lego lol
There’s an old set of Anakin on a speeder with some Tusken Raiders. Tiny little $5 set from when Attack of the Clones was new. Was one of my first Lego sets, back when that’s all my parents could really afford. Honestly I wouldn’t care nearly as much about any other set
I remember having that set. That was back when star wars minifigs still had yellow faces.
the dollar store toy color coded biker gamg bikes from book of boba fett for sure
SPACE VESPAS
The UCS Millenium Falcon. Where I’ll put it I don’t know, but I’ll build the UCS Millenium Falcon Oooooh!
I’d probably start with something not too big that I wanted when I was younger but never got. I think my answer would be 9526 Palpatine’s Arrest
As someone who got that set when I was younger, good choice!
any slave 1, no matter the difficulty
Probably the Death Star 2 since that’s been my white whale for a while.
I’d love a Y-Wing. It’s been my favorite ship since 1980
Building in release order, just like the movies
The old technic droidika
Yes. The old one, model 8002
‘99 Naboo Fighter
Millennium Falcon
The big millennium falcon ot star destroyer
AT-AT
Close my eyes and grab. Either that or small to large.
Whichever one I find that has General Grievous.
The Executor
Either the Death Star or UCS Mos Eisley Cantina
Super Star Destroyer.
UCS venator set
Either Death Star, Imperial Star Destroyer or Falcon
One of the Falcons
Whichever one has the most pieces
I'm pulling out all the minifigs and their gear and make them fight each other
The Death Star
Either the UCS ISD or the UCS DS2. Wanted those two since they first came out.
UCS X-Wing. That is a beautiful set and a beautiful ship.
The land speeder from the late 90s/early 2000s that I got for a birthday as a kid and have no clue where it is now.
Death Star. Period!
The Death Star would be first for sure.
Off the top of my head, I would love a Y wing.
I think I'm going in chronological order by release, just so I don't have to make a decision after each set
The Republic Venator Class Attack Cruiser that was recently released
Death Star Lego set seen in Spider Man Far from home
The big imperial star destroyer. Then the tantive-iv
The one i received randomly?😂
Millennium Falcon. Old school style!
Super Star Destroyer, I'm a simp for the executor, and the imperials in general
Probably 10026.
Death star
imperial ii class star destroyer
I would build them in chronological order after I build the droid gunship
I'd start with the smallest and work my way up to the largest.
ARC-170 that was missing pieces when I was a kid
I think I’d go with the UCS Gunship
Set 8002 a Technic Destroyer Droid/ Droideka That could unfold when you rolled it in ball form. And Set 10186 Which was a Technic Grievous Collectors set. Thanks to my collection of Lego visual dictionaries I was able to find the set numbers.
I’m missing a lot of pieces from different sets I used to have growing up, so I would have to say: Naboo N-1 Starfighter and Clone Trooper Battle Pack from 2007. I miss the helmets with the opening in them.
The one I want doesn't exist yet. Nor do I think it ever will. I want a UCS AA-9 Freighter. 🥲 [so beautiful](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/c/c7/Aa9coruscantfreighter.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20091201131352)
Star destroyer. But that's a tough one. Lego has been way out of my priceline. Maybe an atat?
I think I would die of sheer ecstasy before I’d touched a single brick.
No idea
The Rogue Shadow!!! That’s been my dream build since it released when I was a kid
I'll say the LAAT gunship or the AT AT.
I'm selling them.
Probably the entirety of the first line, I had all of those and they were great
Probably one from my childhood like [7255](https://brickset.com/sets/7255-1/General-Grievous-Chase) or [7259](https://brickset.com/sets/7259-1/ARC-170-Fighter)
The star wars one :3
Either UCS AT AT or the all Platinum Naboo ship
i’ve always wanted the ewok village set
Im dumping every bag into a tub and mixing them allllllll together like a soup
Start from 99 through now. Then build in order of set number. I'm OCD!
You didn't specify only one of each, so that means I got all the boxes that were lucky enough to have the Gold C-3PO Finally, it's mine even better, an army of gold 3POs!
Set 7150 Tie Fighter vs Y Wing. Probably one of the the first sets my brother and I got as kids!
OG cloud city, I got the set a long time ago for my birthday and it was a great memory
Any of the UCS’ like The Death Star,Razorcrest,Millenium Falcon,Cantina,Cloud City,or Slave-1 not Boba Fetts starship but the OG UCS Slave-1
Mia Eisley
The big ass Star Destroyer
Most likely all the UC sets
Falcon the collectors edition
I will build them in order of released
star destroyer!!!
That giant ass Star Destroyer. 🤘🏻
Death Star newer one
AT-AT
The sets Speeder Bikes 7128, Mos Espa Race 7171 and Landspeeder 7110. In that order. Yes there are updated and better looking sets but these ones are particularly nostalgic because these are some that I owned myself as a kid. I had other ones. But these were my favourites.
The UCS Star Destroyer for sure.
The original republic gunship with Jedi bob, it was my favourite set when I was a kid and would love to build it again
Podracers
probably smallest to biggest or something, save the best until last
Millenium Falcon Collector edition. Followed by the ATAT.
Probably something small to get me started - maybe a Jedi Interceptor?
Release order
The biggest Venator they have.
$850 ATAT
I want the Death Star, I just don't want to build it. It probably has 20 books just on directions 😂
#M #I #L #L #E #N #N #I #U #M #F #A #L #C #O #N
The AT-AT walker, I’ve wanted it since I was a kid
Ghost
Venator and Star Destroyer that way I can have a simulated battle between them.
I don't know... If I had all for me, I would build the ones first I like the least, working myself through the sets I like the most.
2012 ucs b-wing
Gotta say any of the AT ATs
The Venator
Absolutely not even close: UCS Venator
Man that logo was so funny and the ep 1 version even more so because Boba Fett didn't get released for a year or so iirc. And on the ep 1 version it had Queen Amidala in classic Queen outfit and I think she only got a minifigure a few years back 😅
A few years back... that was 12 years ago my guy. We've had a queen amidala Minifigure for as long as we didn't. Feel old yet?
I had the Jango Slave 1 as a kid. Would maybe try the Boba one but it likely lacks features.
UCS Star Destroyer, it’s just cool
First? The Razor Crest to warm up, then something big immediately after, like the Death Star lol
Republic Gunship from 2013
The OG Hailfire Droid.
The Exectutor for sure
Random use of random!
Super Star destroyer
The LAAT with walker. I always regretted not grabbing that set…
Off where to begin, the first At te and the clone wars gunship.
Definitely the venators I already got the UCS one so a 2nd UCS one and a few smaller ones and I’m on my way to building a republic fleet
I had always wished I had gotten the sandcrawler
The larger Millennium Falcon. She might not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, after all.
Ashokas Star Fighter
UCS Venator
Darth Malgus' ship
Golden C-3PO
The coolest set that I could never get to me has always been the big Executor/Super Star Destroyer set. The shear legacy of the OG Death Star might be a close contender anyways though. UCS Venator gotta be up there too. After those three, maybe some of the bigger ground base sets, like Yavin IV? I like architecture.

Now I jus need a quick 400 to get anything like it back, but would nvr be the same
I'd go from least to most pieces
Millennium Falcon
Millennium Falcon
The Slave 1
star destrouer
05 ARC170, got it on my 10th Birthday. Never finished it. My dumbass got stuck on the technic bits
Pod racers
Death Star.
I'd start with the smaller ones honestly, but I would be so hyped to build the death star
I would begin by listing them on eBay and then make sure they are stored somewhere nice and clean until they sell.
The Venator
Millennium Falcon
The Millenium Falcon
Luke's helmet, I want that one the most to go with my Mandalorian one
75192 Millenium Falcon. That shit is HUGE
Aluminum Falcon
ISD all the way
Falcon, Gen 1. My White Whale. That I want to Piece Build in Black.
The Ghost set, specifically the Phantom section. And that’s because my friend has the set but lost his phantom 😈
Well, firstly, I'm calling my brother. After that, we're building the UCS Executor Super Star Destroyer.
Team Venator
