yeah, ive been somewhat designing this, but I quickly discovered im.. not a coder. i was thinking death would be toggle-able for people like you who prefer happy fantasy even if slightly unrealistic, and it can be turned on for people who want a slightly more real storyline

Jodi is already feeling completely stretched and unsupported with an adult kid and a kid in his tens. I don't think having an extra kid is going to be a good thing for that family.

There is a mod on Nexus that has Sam getting married and having a baby with Alissa (from Ridgeside Village mod)! I don't think it's updated to 1.6, but it's pretty cute. They have a baby and it grows into a toddler that has a few cutscenes with other villagers.

I just looked up why they are called that. Apparently, they make tiny fruits which look like cheesewheels, hence the name.

So my suggestion here is Dandelion. Kent comes back in the spring of Y2. The flower during this period is daffodil, it doesnt really work. However Dandelion can be shortened to Dan/Danny/Dandy, another springtime 'flower', so they call the kid that officially, however to everyone's knowledge except a high heart farmer (and Lewis), the kid is nicknamed Danny. It'd be great to see some Y3 content, and my personal desire would be to see Haley/Emilys family come back in Y3, even if sporadically. There's a lot of creative scope for what they could be or do. Edit: Also give Clint some closure dammit; the man's locked in an eternal cycle of self loathing and he really needs some more far reaching character development.

As someone with 2 daughters with flower names and another few in mind I could help him out haha

If they had another kid that would give at least a 20 year age gap with Sam. Cause assuming he's at least 18 at the start of the game, it takes 1 year for Kent to get back, and 1 year for a kid (or 3 days with how in-game spouses work)

Is there a mod that addresses the relationship between Jodi and him? I think they're a good couple, but Jodi sometimes expresses her regret of marrying young and being tied to being a stay at home mom while her husband was absent for months at a time. Not to mention Kent also needs to adjust to a home life with a family that he saw occasionally before. As for a girl's name... Hazel is the flower of wisdom and Clover is cute.
