In a multiverse with countless versions of countless humans, it is Valentine alone who has D4C - the single ability to make that truth known. Nobody else in any universe can know the existence of, let alone access, these other universes. And the fact that only a single Valentine can have the stand further cements the idea that that particular Valentine has been chosen.
In essence, my point is this: I believe that most normal well-adjusted people, when presented with the same facts that Valentine received, would very likely come to the same beliefs and conclusions of the world as Valentine.
