There's a mod that lets it run at 60-120 fps on series S. It downgrades the graphics quite a lot, but 100-120 fps is achievable outside the big cities.
I mean, saying it "runs" 60 fps is somewhat of an overstatement – it attempts to, but being in a city and/or generally entering combat with more than 2-3 enemies results in significant drops even on the Series X. It's... pretty bad.
ngl, I played on a shitty PC at launch and was excited to play at stable frames on Xbox - I went right back to PC real fast after picking up the console. Not being able to run the game at 60 after playing it at 60 initially was personally rough.

The series S is literally the only console I own. I'm just incredibly disappointed that it runs at 30fps at the absolute best and usually dips well below. The only modern game I've played that has performed worse is Dragons Dogma 2.

But sadly it's also limiting games in a way some devs are still soft locking games at 30fps because otherwise no new game can even run on it.

I have a series X but a really old TV so I'm still playing on potato mode. The old TV still works but I'm thinking about finally retiring it after 16 years of service, haha.

Even on Series X, with performance mode, the game is still like..30 fps, or even less, anywhere that isn't inside a small building or an empty planet.
That hasn't been my experience at all. I see stutters in New Atlantis and Akila but everywhere else seems at or near 60 all the time.
It's definitely not a mod issue because I've tried it with none installed. Akila, Atlantis...the fps even on "performance" mode is just shit.

In game: Settings, then interface options, then there’s damage numbers to switch on.
