It's pretty crazy that a porting studio has built such a name for themselves. For me it's an instant buy if Nixxes did the work. Couldn't name any other porting studio except Iron Galaxy for the exact opposite reason.
Irony Galaxy is not even bad. They did not do TLOU port but got all the blame when all they did was kinda sort advise on ports but it was ND that did all the work.
I don’t know. Ratchet and Clank wasn’t perfect at launch. It took like 1-2 months before it was in an actually great state. I don’t know why they didn’t just wait those few weeks, there was no hurry. But they are definitely one of the best (if not the best) pc port studios out there.
But still, I’m not going to preorder anything before we know the port is great. The Horizon Zero Dawn Forbidden West port might be even worse on release than Ratchet and Clank. If it’s bad, I’d rather wait a month. And I also think it’s a good idea to only support companies with my money if I know the product is good, fuck preordering.
For Sony specifically both Spider-man games, Ratchet and Clank and they also stepped in to fix the previous Horizon port that wasn't initially done by them. Prior to being acquired by Sony they also did the modern Tomb Raider and Deus Ex games which are also great on PC.
Nintendo won't port their games to PC. They're the only company out of Sony and Microsoft that makes money out of every console sold. Sony and Microsoft lose money on each console sold because they make their money back through game sales.
Nintendo makes money on each console sale and game sales. They even have what they call evergreen titles. Those are games that they don't have to reduce the price because they will continue to sell at $60. Like Mario kart 8. The game will go on sale every once in a while, but it won't ever get a permanent price drop like how Nintendo used to do with their Nintendo selects line up.
In Nintendo eyes, why would they port it to PC while we are still selling great on their own console ecosystem that they control. Any potential sales on PC wouldn't justify giving up control for them.
Demon Souls soon I'd hope since it was a PS5 launch title
Blood borne? They're probably waiting till PS6 for that to be a launch title, we're all sadly gonna keep waiting
Nvidia leak from years ago confirmed Demons Souls Remake would get a PC port. They've slowly been working through the list in the Nvidia leak. Bloodborne wasn't on the list. I'm not saying Bloodborne port will never happen, but it won't happen before that list of ports is finished (so definitely after Demons Souls).
Miyazaki mentioned as much in I believe it was a Eurogamer interview for the recent Elden Ring DLC trailer. Seems that if Bloodborne remastered comes it'll be on the PS6 but they aren't working on it now. I doubt it will be ported to PC without the remaster version.
Demons Souls was part of the NVIDIA leak so it’s likely coming next (after Gravity Rush).
Bloodborne is rumored to be getting a remaster, so maybe a simultaneous release.
So... this was part of that Nvidia leak, along with Demon's Souls... Bloodborne was notably not on that list.
I'm hopeful that their recent success may change that, however it's a PS4 game that they haven't bothered updating even for PS5 so I'm somewhat skeptical...
Demon's on the other hand, I'm certain we'll see, which is good, PC modders will finally be able to undo Bluepoint's artistic liberties that took away from the original.
Given the rumors for ghost were also saying demon souls would be coming in the same year. I imagine it'll be within the third or fourth quarter of this year.
Nixxes is GOAT. I expect it to run well on the Steam Deck and have proper controller icons for every Steam Input supported controller like their previous ports.
InFamous too, why the heck not.
The absolute best scenario is if Sony just ports over all their old games, at least whenever they get a remaster.
TLOU1 did that, technically...
That’s what they do with most of these ports. They did the same with Horizon and God of War but you know, at least more people get to play it. It’s an incredible game.
I think PlayStation and Xbox have realized people with $600+ gaming rigs aren’t interested in buying a console. Might as well release on the PC later and make a bit extra money.
I don’t even think it’s a “bit” of extra money. Some of these ports are increasing their profit margins by a lot probably. The games have already been made. Porting is much easier than creating a new game. And there are muuch more PC gamers than console gamers.
Such a weird thing, this game totally went under my radar since I play exclusively on pc. Until about 2 weeks ago I saw somebody playing it and was like wtf how have I never heard of this game?? Jumped onto google to see if there was a pc port and was dissappointed and then less than 2 weeks later they announce its coming to pc lol
I got PS2 for 1 game (RE4), played 4 (+DBZ, Fifa 11, Burnout Dominator).
I got PS4 for 1 game (Bloodborne), played 3 (+GoW and Spidey).
I got PS5 for 1 game (GoWR), played 2 (+Tsushima).
No rugrats.
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! FUCKING YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
Sorry, almost lost my cool for a second. Fun fact: I once wrote a message to the SuckerPunch CEO thorugh LinkedIn (I also use it for my job, so duh) and asked for THIS. My mail was ignored xD Just to make clear how happy this annoucment makes me.
Let’s go! Now all that’s left is GT7, Demon Souls, and Déraciné.
Its also been pretty much confirmed Spider-Man 2 and Gravity Rush 2 are happening at some point
TLOU2 most likely as well
Beyond those? Well we don’t know
I hope and pray that Sony continues to upload all of their PlayStation games to PC. I need them to understand they will make money from us when they do this. Now bring TLOU2 and Bloodborne!!
never played this on PS5 and I don't know much about it- is this a soulslike, or souls-adjacent in terms of difficulty? not a fan of those sort of games and it's getting harder for me to tell when something falls into that category
(edit: thanks for the replies! sounds pretty cool, looking forward to it now)
Nah, it's a very straight forward 3rd person action game. You play THE charcater, you follow his story. Open world, with upgrages and unlocking skills.
Very minimalistic take though. As a way to go to your next objective you follow the wind, which will always be in the direction that you marked as your current objective.
This game was good. If you are into Japan time period this takes place in, like assassins creed with actual good gameplay and story. This is a game to play. One of the few games I actually turned my ps5 on to play games not just watch netflix lol.
I'ts not that hard, but on higher difficulty some 1v1 duels can be brutal tho. I finished the game back on PS4 on highest difficulty, but never get to play the DLC with extra island and game Act, so playing it after 4 years again, with the DLC, and 60FPS fill me with so much hype. I think this will sell better then any others pc port from sony.
Director's Cut Edition features all additional content released to date, as well as brand new content:
* Includes the Full Base Game
* Iki Island Expansion: New story, mini-games, enemy types and more.
* Legends online co-op mode
* Digital mini art book
* One Technique Point
* Charm of Hachiman’s Favor
* Hero of Tsushima Skin Set: Golden Mask, Sword Kit, Horse, Saddle
* Director’s commentary: The creative team sits down with a renowned Japanese historian to look at the world of Ghost of Tsushima and how it compares to the real-life events that inspired it.
It has the iki island dlc pre installed
You get some extra cosmetic gear
Has a overall better performance (because the directors cut was originally the native ps5 version)
A few qol fixes
Japanese dialogue lipsinc (before it was only English lipsinc)
Yeah I see where I you coming from. It kinda looks like one of those generic UE5 games for some reason.
I feel like there's way better screenshots to represent this game.
Yea I was instantly kinda bummed at how shit it looks from the screenshots. Weird choices as I've seen videos and it can look better. Still a lot of games praised as the best looking in existence on console just look last gen/mediocre to me/anyone who's played a ray traced title on pc.
Part of issue is Sony is unwilling or afraid to add ray tracing to their pc ports I guess to avoid them looking so much better than the ps5 version. It's a shame really but its nice to be able to play them even if they all feel last gen to me.
Oh heeeeeeeell yeah!!
I loved it first time around on the PS4 and I never bothered with a PS5, the scarcity issues and expense wasn't worth it over just upgrading my PC.
I heard that the port for The Last of Us Part 1 was really bad, and unfortunately, it has prevented me from even trying to play it on the PC. Didn't really consider that to be a big deal since I played it on the PlayStation, both the original and the next gen remake. Is this going to be faced with the same issues? A poor port?
It has improved since launch but is still not a great port. 90% of the time it runs and looks great but you'll encounter some weird flaws. I think it is still worth playing though.
These are the times I thank God I forgone a guaranteed pre-order of a PS5 in favor of upgrading my PC at the last second way back in November 2020.
Now... If only KILLZONE Trilogy, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian, and of course, Demon's Souls Remake are next.
Fuck yeah I've been waiting for this ever since Spiderman and God of War. I'm happy with my choice to skip the latest generation of consoles, all of these PS and Xbox exclusives on PC is dope!
Now we just need Hell to freeze over so Nintendo releases their own emulator.
Does anyone here know how good the co-op is? Never tried it on PS5 because of needing PS+. Will this be worth getting on PC just to play the co-op with friends?
Well, I'm biased but it's very fun. It's pretty short on content though as it hasn't been updated in quite some time. Most of the long time players in the community have shifted towards personal challenges and goals to keep the game going. That and leaderboards. Definitely more fun with friends than with randoms imo.
Thank god, Sony got their competent studio to port it to PC
It's pretty crazy that a porting studio has built such a name for themselves. For me it's an instant buy if Nixxes did the work. Couldn't name any other porting studio except Iron Galaxy for the exact opposite reason.
Irony Galaxy is not even bad. They did not do TLOU port but got all the blame when all they did was kinda sort advise on ports but it was ND that did all the work.
Iron Galaxy made Batman Arkham Knight port in 2015.
Never forget
Dealing with it when it was first released is forever seared into my brain!
From what I've heard, they didn't have enough time so blame Warner Bros.
I was about to say PH3 but I'm not sure if they port games per se
What else would you call PH3 if not a port studio?
Zero Dawn was not ported by Nixxes initially, they stepped in after it was released and fixed it though
Feral Interactive imo, their mobile ports are absolutely stellar.
Which other ports did they do?
For Sony specifically both Spider-man games, Ratchet and Clank and they also stepped in to fix the previous Horizon port that wasn't initially done by them. Prior to being acquired by Sony they also did the modern Tomb Raider and Deus Ex games which are also great on PC.
For real. I was afraid it’d be iron galaxies again
Hopefully these ports do insane numbers and Nintendo gets the idea
Nintendo won't port their games to PC. They're the only company out of Sony and Microsoft that makes money out of every console sold. Sony and Microsoft lose money on each console sold because they make their money back through game sales. Nintendo makes money on each console sale and game sales. In Nintendo eyes, why would they port it to PC while we are still selling great on their own console ecosystem that they control. Any potential sales on PC wouldn't justify giving up control for them.
Nintendo is like Apple. They will gladly sacrifice short-term profits for total control of the product.
Bloodborne and Demon Souls when?
Step by step
day by day…
Oh Baby!
Gonna get to you giiiiirll
We can have lots of fun
Demon Souls soon I'd hope since it was a PS5 launch title Blood borne? They're probably waiting till PS6 for that to be a launch title, we're all sadly gonna keep waiting
Oh the wait for Bloodborne is like waiting for Half-Life 3, legendary status at this point. Demon Souls at least seems within reach.
Or Titanfall 3
Miyazaki mentioned as much in I believe it was a Eurogamer interview for the recent Elden Ring DLC trailer. Seems that if Bloodborne remastered comes it'll be on the PS6 but they aren't working on it now. I doubt it will be ported to PC without the remaster version.
Exactly this is what I was thinking about I don't think the game really needs it but they're set on it
Found the video: https://youtu.be/gJppKMxpgrI?si=_oEdV2CiGpEkLYrO Bloodborne discussed at 6:49
Started replaying Bloodborne after Lies of P. I absolutely love the game but it NEEDS it. Especially an FPS boost man, it’s still locked on 30 fps
I agree with the fps boost but the game doesn't NEED a remake, just a remaster
Does it need either? It still looks great, it just needs an fps boost and a port to modern systems.
I don't think the textures would hold up on a 4K display, that's why I say a remaster
Fair, I still game at 1080 but I know most people are making the jump to 4k
I also game at 1080 on PC, but basically every TV is 4K
Shadow of the Colossus when ?
Demons Souls was part of the NVIDIA leak so it’s likely coming next (after Gravity Rush). Bloodborne is rumored to be getting a remaster, so maybe a simultaneous release.
So we get Demon's Souls release but also a BB Bluepoint remaster. That damned monkey paw.
So... this was part of that Nvidia leak, along with Demon's Souls...
After the 1.5th life
Given the rumors for ghost were also saying demon souls would be coming in the same year. I imagine it'll be within the third or fourth quarter of this year.
Never probably 😭
Ultrawide support, DLSS and FSR, unlimited frames... *Chefs kiss* 👌🏻
Now if it runs well on Steam Deck 🫶🏻
It was a PS4 game, Nixxes is behind the port, I would think it runs well on Deck.
Nixxes is GOAT. I expect it to run well on the Steam Deck and have proper controller icons for every Steam Input supported controller like their previous ports.
They advertise the game using Steam Input API right on the store page :)
Do you hear that? That's the sound of people throwing their money on onto their Decks and expecting the game to come out sooner.
This is my hope.
If you read it they mentioned optimising it to work on anything from high-end to portable PCs. I think we're good
Were chefs not kissing in the original?
Unlimited so between 0 and 60 with an average of 35.
Maybe for you hahahahaha. Spider-Man ran at a smooth 100 at 1440p on Ultra for me and I'm not even on the newest tech.
my poor wallet! Between dragons dogma, helldivers 2, and now this I might need another job
Yeah I’m playing dragons dogma 2 first as that’s my priority, but when I’m done with that, I know where I’m going next.
Don't forget elden rings expansion also barely a month later
Yeah, at least the next half year seems all set
You might need one less job to get time to play all those games
Splitting time between spreading Democracy? A military tribunal is coming.
So Nixxes is porting Horizon Forbidden West and Ghost of Tsushima? How many are they dealing with such games…
It's hard being the only people on the planet who know how PCs work
51- 200 according to linked-in
Crazy Dutch geniuses
yup i knew it, glad to have Sucker punch on steam, now we just need Sly cooper games. wink wink\*
InFamous too, why the heck not. The absolute best scenario is if Sony just ports over all their old games, at least whenever they get a remaster. TLOU1 did that, technically...
I’d do just about anything to play infamous 1 & 2 on my PC. Infamous 2 is one of my favorite games ever.
GIVE ME INFAMOUS REMASTERED ON PC, ILL EVEN TAKE A NON-REMASTERED VERSION
infamous on steam would extend my life 50 years
Please, god, give us InFamous trilogy on steam I’d gladly get 100% out of them again.
The ps5 doesn’t even have sly cooper games sadly.
really? damn...
There's RPCS3 which runs all the Sly games pretty great. Check it out!
yeah i know, emulator is a bless, i just wanted to have them ported on PC, that would be nice
You can play them through streaming I guess but idk if that counts
You have to be subbed to PS+ too (I think the highest price point)
Give infamous
WOOOOOO I've been waiting so long!
I wonder if this means there a sequel in development and they're trying to introducing the pc market to this masterpiece ahead of time.
Rumour is sequel is being announced in May/June at the next PS Showcase. It won't be simultaneous releases but I feel like it won't nearly be as long.
There is also a movie adaptation happening right now with an all Japanese cast!
Well, would be slightly odd if it followed the story and *everyone* was Japanese...
And there are muuch more PC gamers than console gamers.
plus all the people who end up double buying the games..
We won!!! We fucking won!!!!!!!!
On god, cousin!!!!!!!
#COUSIN!!!
*Lynyrd Skynyrd has entered the chat*
It is your cousin! Wanna go bowling?
We won the battle, but the war is not over until Bloodborne
Sony spoiling us with these legends games. Never thought I’d see the day!
I just hope the gravity rush 2 rumors are true, I love that game
It’s the same guy who said they’d announce GOT pc today so hopefully 🙏
It's crazy how long we had to wait. I was like how's rachet and clank a PS5 game coming to PC before Ghost a ps4 port. Probably not an easy port
Ghost of Tsushima - May 16 Elden Ring Shadow of The Erdtree DLC - June 20 ... Looks like it's gonna be a busy summer this year
I don’t play games much during summer so hopefully these go on sale come fall, but might be too early after release.
INCREDIBLE game! Best wishes to the PC players who will finally get to enjoy this masterpiece.
Bro do us all a favor and keep wishing for games. We'll deal with the monkey paw consequences later.
One of the few reasons why I got a ps4. And I don't mind playing it again.
I got PS2 for 1 game (RE4), played 4 (+DBZ, Fifa 11, Burnout Dominator). I got PS4 for 1 game (Bloodborne), played 3 (+GoW and Spidey). I got PS5 for 1 game (GoWR), played 2 (+Tsushima). No rugrats.
I AM SCREAAAAAAMIIIIIIING!!!!!!! JIN SAKAIIIIIII I WILL SURELY PLAT THIS GAME AGAIN 100/100
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
Tell him to do bloodbourne next
I'll try my best.
Link for those wanting to wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2215430/Ghost_of_Tsushima_DIRECTORS_CUT/
60 dollars but oh well I am still happy that it is finally being ported
Let’s go! Now all that’s left is GT7, Demon Souls, and Déraciné. Its also been pretty much confirmed Spider-Man 2 and Gravity Rush 2 are happening at some point TLOU2 most likely as well Beyond those? Well we don’t know
I guarantee you that GT7 will probably never happen. The GT franchise has never left Sony consoles.
Shadow of The Colossus next?
Ubisoft is shaking right now
Finally some good fucking news
I hope and pray that Sony continues to upload all of their PlayStation games to PC. I need them to understand they will make money from us when they do this. Now bring TLOU2 and Bloodborne!!
Please be steam deck verified
never played this on PS5 and I don't know much about it- is this a soulslike, or souls-adjacent in terms of difficulty? not a fan of those sort of games and it's getting harder for me to tell when something falls into that category (edit: thanks for the replies! sounds pretty cool, looking forward to it now)
It's like assassin creed with a better story and competent combat system
that sounds pretty awesome, i'm hyped now haha
Nah, it's a very straight forward 3rd person action game. You play THE charcater, you follow his story. Open world, with upgrages and unlocking skills. Very minimalistic take though. As a way to go to your next objective you follow the wind, which will always be in the direction that you marked as your current objective.
They say its closer to Assassin's Creed
It’s like assassins creed… but good!
This game was good. If you are into Japan time period this takes place in, like assassins creed with actual good gameplay and story. This is a game to play. One of the few games I actually turned my ps5 on to play games not just watch netflix lol.
Been a while since I played but difficulty was fairly adjustable.
Nothing like souls like. Very fun game and you can raise difficulty if you want more of a challenge
It's an open world game split between samurai combat and "ninja" combat
It's an AC game made by competent developers.

Yeah! Finally! Oh god my money, Horizon Forbidden West in two weeks with Dragons Dogma, and after this. Still miss GOW Ragnarok 😇
SInce no one seems to actually be doing it, [Link](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2215430/Ghost_of_Tsushima_DIRECTORS_CUT/)
Is Legends mode going with, and will it be cross play? That mode is low key, really fuckin good and I need more people to play it with lol
Dragon Dogma and Forbidden West in March, this in May, I haven't gotten to half of Infinite Wealth yet, my backlog is choking
I just want last of us 2 :|
YES
Will it have Legends?
yes
Even when I had ps plus I never gave this game a proper playthrough so I’ll just get it on PC down the road.
Guys there’s hope for bloodborne and demonsouls
Awesome! always wanted to play this when it came out but haven’t owned a PlayStation since ps2
I've been waiting long enough for this game. Might be worth it to buy right away since Sony has been good with porting games to PC.
Ok, it's happening, everybody stay fucking calm. Also FSR 3 wooooo!
I’ll get this after horizon 2. Hoping for god of war 2 and the last of us 2 on PC this year also.
Hope they allow skipping of cutscenes, wanted to replay with the PS5 version but it was rough watching everything again
Now i am happy
YESSSSSSS FINALLY THIS IS A INSTANT BUY
Hopefully we get god of war Ragnorock and spider man 2 soon
You are all in for a treat! *Ghost of Tsushima* is one of the most fun games I have ever played.
I don't know how much it will cost. All I know is I MUST BUY IT Edit: it costs 59,99€
BLOODBORNE WHERE YOU AT???
Now bloodborne please
I just want a new tenchu... this is close though.
We PS5 owners salute pc players funding sequels
Where Bloodborne
Now just give me Bloodborne and I can sell my PS5.
NIIIIICE, NOW GIVE US GOD OF WAR TRILOGY AND BLOODBORNE, MAKE IT HAPPEN SONY
thank you Sony for letting me save money on graphics card instead of buying PS5
Okay, and now Bloodborne and Demon's souls
i don't know why, but the screenshots from the store page look very indie
Yeah I see where I you coming from. It kinda looks like one of those generic UE5 games for some reason. I feel like there's way better screenshots to represent this game.

Still no Bloodborne :(
WE DID IT..GAMERS UNITE
Fuck yeah
This is huge news.
On my birthday?! Hell ya, brother!
this is the way
Yes please
Oh heeeeeeeell yeah!! I loved it first time around on the PS4 and I never bothered with a PS5, the scarcity issues and expense wasn't worth it over just upgrading my PC.
Damn, we're eating well!
FINALLY
Man I can't wait
Finally. Just hope it won't be another halfased port in terms of technical side. So far none of Sony exclusives went without issues
Ok good now Demons Souls and Bloodborne and Bloodborne Kart and Bloodborne 2 and Kings Field II please thank you Sony
Surprised they're doing it relatively soon after Forbidden West
Been playing this on ps5 it's pretty fun.
Yessssss
Holy fuck
yeah, now I want rise of the ronin tho
I heard that the port for The Last of Us Part 1 was really bad, and unfortunately, it has prevented me from even trying to play it on the PC. Enough time to play it before the Elden Ring DLC!
Skippable cutscenes without mods would be very appreciated
Shut up and take my YEN!

I hope that bloodborn is next
I already have this on PS4. should I also get it on PC??
Double dip time 😎💎
Good thing I held off buying it on the PS5.
