I was hoping to get Rimworld on a decent discount but I'm seeing historically it doesn't go more than 20% off. Seems crazy for an indie game with DLC that also totals at $90.
Just don't know if I'll like it but I keep thinking maybe I will? Ehh
Nice thing about Rimworld: get the base game, and buy an expansion if you want more stuff in a future sale. There's quite a bit in there. I'd say it would be a terrible idea to play with even one expansion your first several games.
Really what? That I have that many on my wishlist, or that I’m not planning on buying all of them?
I mean, they’re not ALL going to be on sale. ; D
I have almost 4,000 games, just on Steam. In the past couple of years I’ve more or less stopped buying as much, so the ol’ wishlist keeps growing and growing. I’ve ran through more than 37k titles in the discovery queue in the past decade.
I’ve been at that point in my life for a while now where I have the disposable income to buy them and no time to play them. For me, shopping for them is almost as interesting as playing them.
Happy for you, I would buy a lot of games for vr, but my laptop doesn't have gpu, so it works from cpu, and steam vr doesn't like it. So I can't use my vr headset for steam:(
Probably same thing I got last time, nothing. If I want to play a game I’ll buy it when I plan to play it. Sales throughout the year are about the same as summer sale nowadays anyways. It’s not like it used to be.
I can't do that! I don't want to do it. It's a waste of time and there are some great games.
I'll play them all! I just need a way to remove all the trash games!
very easy:
1- go to wishlist
2- sort by discount
3- buy anything on it that is %80 ro %90 without thinking.
4- check the other games, weigh the pros and cons and buy what i need and leave whatever for next sale.
just hope a few games i really want are a bit cheap, like ALISSA and CROW COUNTRY.
one would think they want more exposure and sales, but they are the bosses.....same goes for the top gear collection, they did %20 a while ago and now another %20.....hey, maybe these games are selling well ? anw, will wait for next sale.
I know! I'm sure the game has done great, because it did kind of pop off as a really well done homage to classic PS1 games like Resident Evil or Parasite Eve. But you would think for a highly anticipated event like a seasonal sale they'd at least do 20% or 25% off. At this point I almost wish they didn't put it on sale, because who knows when it'll be on sale again and is just going to be 10% sales for the next year or so? I might still pick it up during the current sale, but definitely wasn't an instant buy like it would have been if I had seen it on sale for $15 or less.
Sticking to my rule: 90% off: Instant buy 80% off: Think about it Everything else: Just wait. Your backlog is big enough.
90% off: Instant buy 🤔 How big should your pile of shame get? - Yes!
Yup.
Ends up buying anyways 😂
I'm more flexible. In my case, I think about it if it is at 70 % 😋
Doom 2016 project zomboid,hades, hollow knight , outlast 2 and Titanfall 2
bought elden ring and fallout 76 so far
I just bought Muse Dash for $0.80

I have like 1,695 games on my wishlist…no way I’m buying all of them.
Really?

I mean, do you really have that much

Oh, that's sad.
Maybe elden ring Yakuza 0 got it on ps4 but want for steam deck Maybe persona 5 Big ambitions
Games probably, might fuck around and get DLC too
Half life alyx . Already bought it . Went from 60 to 20 euro . Nice . Ah Riven VR is an extra XD

Nowt, zip, zilch, nothing. Buying games just isn't on my list of things to do right now.
Borderlands 2 and disco elysium
I will buy... uuh... I don't know. I have over 1500 games on my wishlist. How am I supposed to get through that?
Remove everything from your wishlist, 1500 games! What were u thinking...., u will be in your old age by the time u get and play em all
I can't do that! I don't want to do it. It's a waste of time and there are some great games. I'll play them all! I just need a way to remove all the trash games!
There is a chrome extension that can help u I guess but u will still have nitpick some of em? Name of the extension is Augmented steam
Ah, I have this extension. But there is only a button to clear the wishlist, no?
Last I saw there was also an export wishlist if I saw correctly
Yes, there is, but I don't know if that will help me
Yo really hard to believe, can you prove it somehow?

Yo, if you would be one of my friends, I would be very lucky because I would have a lot of games to choose as a present:)
We can become friends if you want.
Are you sure finding friends on reddit is a good idea?
Probably not, but still better than nothing. :(
Oh no, you have no friends?
I mean… almost. We don't play very often.
Sad, what games do you play?

Crow country was so good
sadly, it is like %10 off, so no bueno, but ALISSA was %50, so i took it.
That's so annoying for Crow Country. I wasn't expecting it to be 50% or more off. But at least knock $5 off the price tag for the sale. Ugh.
