I somewhat agree, it's not a great look but somehow it would look weirdly asymmetrical to have them both point in the same direction. The shell pattern should change orientation in the middle of the screen (where the change is barely noticeable) imho.

I would advise to sail the high seas for it. EA does sell it cheap on sale but dlcs bring out most of the cars and without dlcs you will find cars around the map and when you approach them they prompt you to buy dlcs... that is such a huge turn off for me. Otherwise pretty good game. Burnout paradise tho its amazing.

The dlc isn't as aggressive as you think. I remember when it launched for consoles and everyone was going gaga about the dlc because they patched it in, but the finished product isn't too bad. I play the steam version a lot and it's mostly fine. You see a car you can drive it without being promoted to buy it with real money.

Another highly underrated game is Ridge Racer Unbound. I think I got it for 70 cents on Fanatical. Very atmospheric take on the burnout formula
