I am a bit of a boxing fan, and I really want to make a thread about how they can absolutely make all 3 boxers visually and mechanically different enough to warrant a spot on the roster. I also have some examples of how they already have done so.
Both are boxer but they're 2 different playstyles,in sfv both Barlog and ed are in dlc(season 1 and season 2) so your argument make no sense, sure he's not going to be in season 2 but he'd likely in this game in the future seasons

Mika, really love her fiery spirit kind of design and pro wrestling stuff in general. Her moves are all flashy and cool and I thought her voice actress in both languages was fantastic.
Her gameplay is also wonderful, I am playing Manon, Kimberly and Lily and none of them scratch the same "fast grappler" itch.
Kimberly mixups are missing a command throw, Lily's gameplan is too simple and Manon isn't as dangerous in the corner as Mika was. Never really knew how good I had it with f.hp until it was gone. Meaty, frametrap, and launcher all on one button made pressing buttons against her so scary.
That being said, I agree with your pick too, Alex is super cool and his moves are all very flashy. Same level of talented voice actors too. He doesn't have the bullheaded enthusiasm that Mika does but he's a rare instance of the stoic hero actually leaving a mark on me. I personally think he would fit really well in SF6.
I don't need him in season 2, but Dan always makes me smile. We got him super early in SF4, but we got him far too late in 5.
I love playing as Dan. I'm glad that he's made it into as many games as he has over the years, only missing the 3s (but who didn't?) since Alpha.

I really, really, really wanna see Hugo back. He was my favorite character in every game he was in, and it feels a bit odd to have Metro City be so relevant in the game, while not including the most infamous member of the Mad Gear himself(Not counting the Andores, although they are also very cool).
I really want gouken back such a dope hybrid and perfect rival for roid akuma , that said many great characters deserve their long overdue return fei long , viper and dudley come to mind instantly.

Dudley.
From a gameplay perspective, I would be extremely interested in how they would adapt him into the game - many things that he has that were unique in previous Street Fighters are fairly common now.
For example, one thing that was unique about Dudley before was his ability to confirm a knockdown from his overhead. In SF3 and SF4, this was a rare and powerful thing. In SF6, its almost more unusual to *not* be able to combo off of overhead thanks to drive rush.
As well, Dudley's stand HK would be kind of busted. In SF4 it had 4 frames start-up, and in SF3 it had 5 frames start up. The only heavy with that kind of frame data in SF6 to my knowledge is Jamie's stand HP - which is partly balanced by being only cancellable on the second hit, and is still one of the best buttons in the game (IMO).
I would be very interested to see how they would adapt Dudley while retaining his identity.
I would lean heavily into Dudleys footwork with movement options you could chain into each other back and forward to keep foes guessing. Get on the Dance floor.
If they don’t add Vega (not sfv version) Urien, Karen, Maki, Makoto or someone I’m literally not playing. Great game but the ONLY character I wanted that made it in is Cammy

Dudley. He was my first Real Main inmy 1st street fighter game (sf4). He has a gentleman personality but he can throw out great insults. Hes a speed boxer who mixes you up with a powerful high/low into a sick juggle combo. He has great ways around fireballs with ducks/rolling, he has a DP, a sick juggle sweep, the hype rose toss and he does big damage. Yeah he should absolutely be here in Sf6 its been too long since I got to Keep it Classy.
My reasonable pick that could happen: Makoto, I wanna see how much of a damn monster adult Makoto is.

Twelve from 3S, I love shapeshifting characters and I especially appreciate how weird he is. He pretty much has every other character in the roster beat when it comes to how strange he is, and I really love him for that. I also thought it was really cool when he gained sentience in his ending, I would’ve loved to see where they took him going forward but sadly he never got another chance.
Despite how horrible he is in 3S his airdashing, animations & presentation were all really cool and I definitely think he would be a cool addition to SF6.
Dudley need to come back or Balrog because of Ed being and the game plus there might be more story or lore to those 2 and Dudley needs more attention for what abilities he has as a British boxer

Sagat. I've mained him since sf2, and while I can play most characters decently. I just got too strong of a connection to Sagat. I skipped sf5 btw so idk how he is there, but I have not heard good things. But on top of that, I hate the story direction capcom is seemingly taking him. I do not think he needs to get involved with the hado at all. I'd also take Adon back, but capcom has gotta tone back his screeching. Ultimately, I'd like to design a new apprentice, but that'll never happen.
R. Mika. She was my main in SF5, I love that she’s a regular size grappler, I love her style, and the VA in both languages. While I’m sure fighting against her can be frustrating, she made the streets fun and I’d love to see how she plays in sf6

He really fit that good in between of brawler and grappler, along with a little bit of set play.
My one gripe would be to move away his personality from just eating and being fat.
I think Birdie is at his best as an actual “Street Fighter”. I want someone who’s loudmouthed, rude, dirty handed, and a bit stupid.
If he were to return, I’d like him to once again take on a different visual design. I wouldn’t say thin him up or keep him fat, as I’m actually a fan of both designs, but I’d say give him the option to swap between like a stance mode. Kind of like Zuko, Birdie could swap between defense and offense, with the use of some sort of Fat Burn mechanic.
Birdie in Alpha 3 was the character that got me into street fighter, and I’d really like to see what they could do with his return.
R Mika, she was so much fun in SFV and I love the heavy mixup, highway robbery style of character.

Dudley need to come back or Balrog because of Ed being and the game plus there might be more story or lore to those 2 and Dudley needs more attention for what abilities he has as a British boxer

Fei Long or a new legacy character for him. He wass in at least one version of most street fighters II, Alpha, 4. A Bruce Lee tribute character belongs in SF. They already have Cammy, DJ and a T Hawk legacy character but I don't think Fei Long has been mentioned at all in VI yet.

Remy and Necro, its been too long. They are soooo underestimated.
Sagat. I've mained him since sf2, and while I can play most characters decently. I just got too strong of a connection to Sagat. I skipped sf5 btw so idk how he is there, but I have not heard good things. But on top of that, I hate the story direction capcom is seemingly taking him. I do not think he needs to get involved with the hado at all. I'd also take Adon back, but capcom has gotta tone back his screeching. Ultimately, I'd like to design a new apprentice, but that'll never happen.
R. Mika. She was my main in SF5, I love that she’s a regular size grappler, I love her style, and the VA in both languages. While I’m sure fighting against her can be frustrating, she made the streets fun and I’d love to see how she plays in sf6

Birdie He really fit that good in between of brawler and grappler, along with a little bit of set play. My one gripe would be to move away his personality from just eating and being fat. I think Birdie is at his best as an actual “Street Fighter”. I want someone who’s loudmouthed, rude, dirty handed, and a bit stupid. If he were to return, I’d like him to once again take on a different visual design. I wouldn’t say thin him up or keep him fat, as I’m actually a fan of both designs, but I’d say give him the option to swap between like a stance mode. Kind of like Zuko, Birdie could swap between defense and offense, with the use of some sort of Fat Burn mechanic. Birdie in Alpha 3 was the character that got me into street fighter, and I’d really like to see what they could do with his return.
R Mika, she was so much fun in SFV and I love the heavy mixup, highway robbery style of character. I understand she's probably a long shot though, so ill settle for Makoto.

Cody because he’s lore important and more fun to play than any of the other fighters in the series by a good margin. At the same time though I kind of don’t want to see how sf6 butchers his playstyle so maybe he’d be better off staying in past games

I'd be hype as fuck to see C. Viper come back, she's such a great character design and I think she'd fit perfectly in 6. Poison and Hugo both fit the more modern/street aesthetic that 6 has gone for insanely well and would both be incredibly good inclusions. Makoto also desperately needs to come back, I miss her a ton.
