Fellow math major philosophy minor here. My first job the VP saw the philosophy minor and took over the interview from my would-be manager to just talk about philosophy. The applied math got my resume through the automated filters, but the philosophy minor got me the job, I'm sure, just because I could make a joke about Hume and make the boss's boss's boss laugh.

Competitive Programming is maybe not a phrase you want to abbreviate and then say you're into
