The points about the homogenization of music were great. Had a hard time getting onboard with the value in putting more music behind a larger paywall. Sure we were invested in each purchase more, but man it sucked hard getting burned by a bad album when that was your hard-earned cash. Also imagine all the music you'd never hear unless you were rich because nobody could afford to have a large collection. All the indie groups your never hear because they couldn't get big enough to secure a spot on the limited set of shelves in the physical stores... What about access to international artists who were never going to be sold in your local stores?... The old way of buying music where the record labels were absolutely raking it in and people had very low access to music was really not that great.

Very stellar video, saw it other day. At end he suggests we listen to music, which I thought was funny, I guess some people need a reminder. As non-musician turned ai-musician I started to listen closer to music I like to find why I like it….and imitate what I like.

What's an ai musician?

Otherwise_Penalty644

I don’t know

another person who doesn't fully understand the way ai is about to revolutionize the industry. he does know his audience and tells them what they want to hear. remember these "influencers" are only appealing to a very minor audience compared to hundreds of millions of users in the world who use streaming platforms on a daily basis. they're not considering youth and future generations.

He does understand and is talking about it on his channel. And dismissing him as an "influencer" seems odd. He's a professional music producer, multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer who also makes educational videos. You should check out his other videos.
