Same HL in an ISA 450 fakes, they said its 8weeks to transfer to ibkr and I don't want em tied up, they were all before I found out about drs April 2021. 1076 drsd, and 47pinochios with ibkr ready to transfer, but I just know I'm gonna buy more at some point. So might aswel save on fees.
Canadian here. You can indeed DRS your shares out of TFSA and RRSP. But with RRSP shares, you gotta pay a withholding tax, so I can see why some are hesitant to do so.
The TFSA shares though, you simply do an in kind transfer to your cash account and then DRS.
But I'll need honest here. It doesn't seem like you really want to DRS.
I will be DRSing all the shares of my non-registered. But I've lost so much contribution room in my TFSA, I would hate to permanently lose that room by transferring it in kind. I'll be purchasing heavily over the next month so my non registered shares will eclipse anything I have in my TFSA. I'll be DRSing it as well 👌
I’ll suggest that you investigate why taking these shares out of the DTCC could be a positive thing for your investment. Please investigate drsgme.org for an insight and guides about how to DRS and then BOOK those bad boys. This is the way
Stock Events owned by Vlixr UG. A german company with less than $1M in revenue and less than 10 employess. Can't seem to find out anymore info especially who processes the order flow. It might as well be RH in disguise.

I notice DRSGME.org doesn't have a DRS tutorial for Stock Events. If you choose to DRS, you should contact those guys with the instructions for DRSing from Stock Events to add it on their site to help others in doing it too.

Wouldn't buy any that aren't going to be drs'd. Gunna get rug-pulled if not drs'd. Terms and Conditions should be read thoroughly.
