so... I can remember in school they were telling us not to put pennies on railroad tracks because it could cause a derailment.
That vehicle exploded like it was papier-mâché. Like, it just as well could not have been there as far as the train was concerned (or so it seemed)
there are train tracks before and after where they got stuck, why the fuck would you drive there and not realise sooner, that this was a possible outcome?
Because that car is cheap and total crap, but it handles offroad so shockingly well that it was bery unexpected that it got stuck. Tires probably old and hardened.
This car is dirt cheap, but can drive through anything. Probably tires were old and fucked up, that's why they got stuck, otherwise it wouldn't happen.
What a high stakes gamble he made and lost. I swear the people with bad gambling psychology are the ones who end up in these situations. They don’t calculate the odds and stakes realistically.
Towbar/bumper was caught on the track. That car could pull itself out of there no problems. It got "hung up" on something.
Looking at it I'd hesitate a guess at a tow hitch got caught on the train track.
