Yeah the only thing that needs to change for Sym imo is to get rid of her very situational shield leech and give her back her 25hp that she lost (since she lost the reason that she lost the health in the first place)
Set up tp before you go in so u can escape if you cant ramp up
I'm talking about Mei's beam aka primary fire, it works exactly like you described in the post. 100 DPs
While I agree consistency would be nice, the charge up is really fun and I feel a better change would be to make it lose charge slower, so she could punish dive more, or to make the values tighter, such as rasing the minimum damage but lowering the max charge damage, balancing it in a way where sym has roughly the same average dps per team fight, but allowing sym to be a bit more impactful at the start of engagements, though sym has a finicky kit that is probably a pain to balance already
I like her tier system but I'm not opposed tweaks. 60 base damage is pathetic. What about 80/130/180 or 80/120/160 or anything other than 60 base damage?
I like her ramp up damage. It makes her unique and provides variety in the game.
The problem is that the reward is not enough at level 3 after all the hp increase and general buffs to other heroes. Buff her damage a bit would make it more rewarding already.
The issue is survivability at beam range. Her beam could one shot a target after 1 sec and she'd still be underpowered as she'd get swatted before she can hold her M1 long enough
I'd much rather her beam have a soft lock on considering how close you have to be to your opponent and her evasion sucks . Ur teleporter takes forever to set and use and has a huge cool down

I agree it feels really good, but itās rarely that you get the chance to ramp up the damage. Meiās weapon feels bad cuz its not hitscan.

But meiās freezing beam has travel time, which really changes how you fight fast moving characters. Im gonna try the tp thing tho

90-120 would be awful lol. If anything, make the ramp smoother, dont just remove it. there's no reason for stage 1 to be 60 dps. It's pathetic.

No, but I would like if they removed level 1 beam and made her have only 2 beam states

Thats what i mean, every other laser is incosistent, meiās is constant dps but its projectile so it doesnt feel as responsive
