I managed to try her on Runasapi and oh girl the beam feels PLAYABLE, It feels good in a skirmish too now that it ramps up faster

It takes 1.5s to charge it up fully, which is twice as long as the amount of time it will take them to revert this buff and give her 7 different nerfs.
How did you end up with these numbers? Just play the video and start counting to 3 and see that's really off as she is getting full charge at halfway counting.
it's the wrong buff for sure but it doesn't change anything significant w how she plays... nowhere close to "insanity" as you say. she still can't force beam against a lot of comps and beam is nowhere near as deadly as it used to be anyway

Her niche has been made a lot better (tank buster, brawler) but outside of this niche it's not very efficient, which is perfect imo!
If it does end up being too good I hope they just nerf it and not revert it, 17.5-20% should be fine but I like her getting a faster kit in OW2

Sym 3.0 beam at release was actually atrocious, it took like 6s to get to 3 and was 10m.. 😭
Wasn't it 4s? 2s per level and needed to increase 2 lvls ---> 4s to lvl 3? Or you including misses?
That was insanity and I have no idea why they did that. Making it require aim already indirectly increased the charge time.

Random fun fact: Beam charge rate has been increased by 85% now since Sym 3.0, shows how well her kit aged..no rework required at all
As fun as 3.0 is now, I do wish she had her deployable shield again.
