I actually enjoy takes like that. It makes them feel more like brothers by choice/circumstance, like how splinters their dad but not truly their dad, just for me personally it makes the bond stronger

I love Rise for that reason! Mickey is a box turtle, Leo's a red eared slider, Raph's a snapper and Donnie's a soft shell. it's so cool :)

the shapes of leo and raph's faces here are actually the closest i have ever seen them all to actually be turtle shaped, looks great. also realizing that they've never had claws in any iteration despite turtles actually having claws, it's a small detail but it really does add a lot to making them look more like mutated turtles rather than green people with shells (no dig at the canon designs to be clear they're great, just enjoying it when designs lean more into the animal traits in general regardless of the media)

It fits there styles Leo is the serious and loyal to the style of combat so he gets a serious style Ralph is a brute and hardhead so he gets a beat up and hardcore style Donnie is the smart and wise one giving him a elder kinda look seeing how turtles combat is based of Japanese combat styles they say elders are wise Mikey… I love mikyes style hes the wild card of the group he knows what he is doing but he does in the surfer dude style

Damn bro chill out, it's just an opinion. He looks odd imo, Im not a fan of how tall and skinny proportions are, and he doesn't look very strong for a ninja, also it kinda bothers me how all the turtles have white eyes except him.

Well it's very subtle on Raphael's part, but his eyes have a yellow tint to them. Donnie's eyes are likely yellow because he's wearing goggles in this picture.

We need this now.
