Unless they disabled passcode recovery, which is possible on the 2.0 cards. If they didn't, just need to make sure you reset the passcode on all three cards before resetting them.
100% this. It might be a pain, but go through attaching each card, reset passcode, then go through each card again to reset to factory setting. You’ll end up with 3 blank cards that are ready to go
So, reset passcode on all 3, then, reset card on all 3.. Good to know this, thx.
I'll be picking them up this Sunday, will stop back here when I do this and let you know how it went.
Hey! I would say, best thing to do, especially is since there is no crypto on it, is just to reset everything to factory settings just in case. That way, you get a brand new wallet, you can set everything up from the beginning and be calm knowing only you have access.
Here is a guide for you!

Tangem is terrible. Pray you don’t have any tech issues they have the absolute worst customer service if anything goes wrong. Use Onekey instead. Much better tech and support
To balance that: my experience is that they take about 24 hours to reply and respond to further information in under a day. Respond to email and web channels. And problem was my own error and inexperience.
Yes you can reset it as many times as you want. If he gives you Tangem 2.0 then you can use a seedphrase option.
Okay thanks, good to know. I would use the Tangem app on *my* phone to do the reset? Yes, its the 2.0
I assumed he gave also the passcode for the app, so yes.
Passcode is not necessary if you have the set of cards

That's good to know. He probably forgot the pass code or if he wrote it down, tossed it.
Just make sure to reset each card.
