Were these done under the guidance of a mentor? I don’t really know where to start. The first one- the line work is shaky and the shading is muddy and overworked. Not to mention the bed isn’t wrapped.

These are rough to say the least. What was your mentor’s feedback? We all need to start somewhere and no one’s lines were crisp on the first go. But that also means you need to start small. No color, no shading, no black packing. Just lines. Once you get your linework up to par, you can add shading. Etc.

Have you worked in fake skin before?

There is quite a lot of issues here tbh. I would take a few steps back. I wouldn’t say you were at a point where you should be tattoo people yet. These designs are very ambitious. Try very simple designs such as silhouettes so you can grasp the basics. Try drawing them out first and then fake skin. Baby steps is the best way imo

Sorry dawg these are rough to say the least - if your mentor is cool with it, find a new mentor. Work on some basics before working on humans.
