I honestly think that maturity comes from the person. I was fortunate enough to be with a Scorpio man for 17 yrs. He's very mature, open to any topic or communication, emotionally intelligent, honest, and very considerate about my feelings.
He only mentioned about his past once and never initiated nor talked about it unless I asked or we briefly/casually mention it. No ill feelings, he never felt bitter nor resentful towards his former flame even tho the relationship ended awfully.
Even when we ended our relationship amicably, we still talked and said good things about each other. No hard feelings. I still consider him my best friend. :)

That being said, I can never date one because they almost put their heart on their sleeves a little too much and a lot of it comes from insecurity. I find that when they get hurt, whew boy they GET HURT. And will make sure you feel hurt just like they do with the things they say. It feels a little emotionally stunted to me.
Not really I get along with them pretty well. I’m a cancer rising and I’ve never understood why so many people hate them lol. Plenty of other people give me the ick. I do notice they gravitate towards people/situations that cause drama and make them miserable. I am raising a Scorpio and she can’t help but find toxic people she tries to find redeeming qualities in.

I had a Scorpio gf long distance & we were soooo good for at least a year & one day she juss ghosted me. turns out she had a whole bf in real life that she couldn’t even tell me she had, juss kept leading me on. I don’t like scorpios that much after that situation lmao. most of the women are pretty grimey. the guys are chill tho my guy bsf is a Scorpio & he’s the shit.

My experience is, that he has been extremely closed and emotionally unavailable. He would even say how he doesn’t understand his emotions and he hadn’t any connections to them. I assume it’s more because of childhood trauma and he is virgo moon. But the only other Scorpio I really know is my little cousin and she is quite the opposite of what you described. 😊
