I go NUTS for the way she sings that “it was…” every single time I hear it! I make sure I stop what I’m doing so I can really pay attention to it, it’s my favorite part of the song!
Her vocal delivery in the opening verse of You're On Your Own, Kid: I wait patiently 😊 he's gonna notice me ☺ it's okay, we're the best of friends 🥰 anyway 🙃
this line strikes me to my core of the loneliness i had as a kiddo, when i was the weird kid who lived out in the woods.
also still into astrology, i read tarot, love crystals, and don't believe in coincidences. :)
The chorus of Labyrinth. Its basically repeating the "I'm falling in love," with a slight variation but each line takes you on such a wild journey, man I love it so much.
The way she says “Living for the thrillll of hitting you where it hurrrrrrts give me back my girlhood it was mine firrrrrsssssssst in WCS.
There’s like this plaintive but angry plea mixed with a raspiness and hint of desperation all at once. The ascension of that line is perfection and her vocals are also ✨perfection✨
This one is one of the few that really truly feels like an up all night song pacing and fighting demons.
Ugh. I can’t get enough of it for so many reasons.
YES, came here to say this!!!! "Desperation" is really the perfect word to describe the unique magic of this song.
I totally get why she made it a 3AM track (the salacious tabloid-gossip angle of it all would've probably overshadowed everything else), but imo it's still the ultimate encapsulation of the mood and theme she seems to have been trying to evoke with the whole Midnights project. Also love that she made it track 19 - such a perfect touch.
A really easy one is the final “You’re on you’re own kid, you always have been”. I know that was the intention and not everybody likes it for being so obvious, but it still gets me basically every time 😅
At the very end when it goes “You're on your own, kid Yeah, you can face this” I get a little teary eyed. Like thank you Taylor I can go into the office today, I can do hard things…..I need to call my therapist.
Whenever I’m faced with something scary at work like a big meeting I say “you’re on your own kid, you can face this” and it HELPS. It helps me feel in control and to take ownership of my piece of work.
I love that you said this!
the line from labyrinth "you would break your back to make me break a smile." the lyric combined with the higher vocals is so good, i actually started tearing up the first time i heard it
“You were standing hollow-eyed in the hallway” gives me chills every time I listen to it for some reason (and that’s a lot of times because Maroon is in my top 2 favourite songs on Midnights).
That and the transition into the bridge in Dear Reader (my other favourite).
I know it's probably cringy but I love the audio feel of the beginning of Paris - "some wannabe Z-lister
and all the outfits were terrible, 2003 unbearable."
Mine is also from Question…? !
But it’s the line: “you painted all my nights a color I’ve searched for since” I love the way she sings it and I tie it back to the line in illicit affairs: “you showed me colors you know I can’t see with anyone else.”
I LOVE her self conscious soft spoken “is that your key in the door? Is it okay? Is it you?” And then comes that huge exhalation of “or have they come to take me AWAYYYYYYYY” it’s PERFECT.
And the next line: No one sees when you lose when you’re playing solitaire
I used to actually play solitaire a lot. I still play lots of indie video games that are very single player only experiences because I don’t even want to compare my stats in conversations with other people. Made me feel very seen that I hide in my introversion like that sometimes.
Why have I always thought she meant her writing pen, but now I realize she probably means like a cage pen. Funny how things can be interpreted differently.
the "there's no morning glory it was war it wasn't fair" feels like she's stretching my heart I swear sometimes I just keep listening the same seconds in loop
“I’m only cryptic and Machiavellian ‘cause I careeee” is the single best line on the album in my opinion. Gives me chills every time, it’s the strongest moment on Mastermind.
The strings in the chorus of Mastermind. Fell in love with the song when I first heard them with head phones.
I was honestly pretty "meh" about the song until then.
When her voice breaks at the end of *”to you I can admit, that I’m just too soft, for all of it”*
Something gets me in her enunciation of “that’s a *real fucking legacy*”
Iconic moment in anti-hero; *”everybody agreeeeeesssssss”*
The *”oo OO oo OO oo oo oo oo oo oo o ooooooo”* of high infidelity
When she sings *”do I really have to tell you how he brought me back to life?”* like it’s something she was trying to avoid saying (heh I guess you could say she was *dancing around it* lol) because she knows it’ll hurt him because it’s so true and she’s mad that he basically dragged it out of her
ALL of “Vigilante Shit.” It’s SO not the type of song I would usually like. But she just kills me from the beginning! I was intrigued and sucked in to that world completely. I loved it. So I guess my exact favorite moment is…
“Draw the cat eye sharp enough to kill a man.” because it begins a few minutes where I feel I’m living this different life completely!
For me it’s probably either the harmony on “I’ll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror” in Anti Hero or when her voice breaks off into two and one harmony goes super high during “the mark they saw on my collarbone” in one of Maroon’s choruses
Maroons bridge. I was so suprised when that aggressive fucking was sung. Never before had I heard her pronounce that word with so much angst and anger. You can feel that she basically bites her lower lip with her front teeth while singing that word. I just love it.
I can't choose so I'm listing the following
Lavender Haze bridge (the beat and vocal delivery)
The chorus and ending lines of You're Own Your Own Kid
The whole 2nd verse of Question...? (vocals and "dickhead")
Sweet Nothings piano riff and the second half of the final chorus
High infedility put on your records and regret meeting
me
I love the way she sings that line but I think bc it leads up to it in the song. I love this song so much. Everything about it is genius in the way she writes it
In general, the excitement I felt listening through the album for the first time.
Someone else mentioned the way she sings “it was…” during the second chorus in Maroon, I absolutely love that.
I also really like the way she delivers the line “I pictured you with other girls in looOOoove” so sweet and dreamy, then promptly follows it up on the other end of the romance spectrum with a short and “then threw up on the street.” Honestly? Peak comedy.
From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes
I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this
I hosted parties and starved my body
Like I'd be saved by a perfect kiss
The jokes weren't funny, I took the money
My friends from home don't know what to say
I looked around in a blood-soaked gown
And I saw something they can't take away
It’s so fun! I can imagine them chugging wine and being a little tipsy while making those sounds haha. Plus, the sharp synth that cuts in is so jarring yet I can’t imagine the song without it.
The slightly chaotic production really captures the “it only feels this raw right now, lost in the labyrinth of my mind”. I like that it’s experimental and plays around with a lot of layers of sound. Really does make me think of a labyrinth.
Not Midnights, but still a pretty recent release. I love it in I Bet You Think About Me where she goes, "And I'll bet your friends tell you she's better than me. *Huh*."
Also the way she sneers "million dollar couch".
Ok I’ve tried to tell this to my friend but I live for the WHEEOW at the end of
“It came like a postcard
Picture perfect, shiny family
Holiday, peppermint candy” WHEEOW
You know????
Can’t explain why, but the first line of Bejeweled “Baby love, I think I've been a little too kind” and the way she sings it just makes my brain so happy. Sometimes while listening to the song I restart it again and again to hear that line.
Also, the whole Mastermind bridge that starts with “no one wanted to play with me as a little kid-“ and needs with “-this is the first time I’ve felt the need to confess” hurts my soul in the best way possible.
Outro on WCS -- her unrelenting anger/anguish as she sings the lyrics over and over to that war-like drum beat, all mixed with religious imagery of stained glass windows in her mind of a sacred experience stolen and turned haunted and haunting. What she knows now taints the memory of the heavenly experience of being with a guy who hurt her deeply--and the girl is mad about it. It's such a cathartic and honest song
The moment in Question when she’s singing “can I ask you a question” and her background vocal comes in like “CAN I ASK YOUUU A QUESTIONNN”. I hope someone knows what I’m talking about lol
not sure if someone said this already but: ✨sweet like HUH-NEYYY✨ makes me come alive lol
u/thidwickthemoose explained this really well but in WCS when she sings "give me back my girlhood, it was mine first". i just love that she didn't round out the vowels on "girl" and "first".
The smoky voice outro of Maroon is one of the greatest vocal moments in her entire discography
agreed, so so so addictive
My favorite too- it’s like a drug
everybody agreesssssssss
🐍
🐍
I just got the snake connection!
It could also connect to: But I'm about to place my accccceeee🐍
I loved the face she did when she emphasized the sssss in The 1975 Anti-Hero performance. Got me so excited for tour! 🐍
Had a sense I’d BEEN BETRAAAYED
Yes
“And the liquor in our cocktails” oh my god I love her voice there
_the wind in our free-flowing sails_
Yes this x 100. Something specifically about the drop in her voice and the precise way she says cocktails is sooo amazing
“Do I really have to tell you how he brought me back to life”. The way she sings “brought me back to life” makes me want to cry bitter tears.
Ahhhh, this was my other one and I purposely didn't mention it to see if someone else would! It gives me chills.
Same. I will not be held responsible for my behavior when this part comes up if she performs High Infidelity at Eras
The drums in YOYOK right after/during "everything you lose is a step you take."
That one "it was....." during the second chorus of Maroon.
I know exactly which moment you mean, and YES.
I go NUTS for the way she sings that “it was…” every single time I hear it! I make sure I stop what I’m doing so I can really pay attention to it, it’s my favorite part of the song!
THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO SAY BUT DIDNT KNOW HOW!!!!
it's giving 'and how it glistens as ***it fell*** ' vibes from All Too Well
IM NOT ALONE
YES. It's the sort of thing that I think will stand out on the tour too, similar to a lot of little moments in the 1989 tour.
Her vocal delivery in the opening verse of You're On Your Own, Kid: I wait patiently 😊 he's gonna notice me ☺ it's okay, we're the best of friends 🥰 anyway 🙃
I love how she says “anyway”! There’s this touch of hesitation and I can hear the eye roll. Like “I’m not bothered. Totally not bothered”.
The way she says ✨️nice✨️ in bejeweled it's kinda like a video game.
It’s giving a good serve in Wii Tennis ☺️
This may be controversial but I’m addicted to “and she looks so pretty, driving in your Benz”
Not controversial, I love it too, especially how she says "pretty..."
Yup that part is mmm sexy
sometimes I’ve listened to this line on loop like 5-6 times in a row 😂
This line sets my brain on fire. I see it so clearly, like it’s a music video.
Love that one too.
I loooooooove “no one wanted to play with me as a little kid” in Mastermind. It does something to me.
this line strikes me to my core of the loneliness i had as a kiddo, when i was the weird kid who lived out in the woods. also still into astrology, i read tarot, love crystals, and don't believe in coincidences. :)
Jumping onto the mastermind train, I personally really enjoy the _And I swearrrrrr I’m only cryptic and Machiavellian cause I care_ part
Same. I think that may be her second best bridge on Midnights for me.
Me too. Makes me tear up everytime and think of my own childhood.
The beautiful “ooooooh ooooh“‘s in sweet nothing
Yes, very reminiscent of folklore I think as well.
The chorus of Labyrinth. Its basically repeating the "I'm falling in love," with a slight variation but each line takes you on such a wild journey, man I love it so much.
[удалено]
That "Oh," literally made me stop in my tracks the first time I heard it.
In a hypnotic loop 😍
I need to remember to trip to this and Midnight rain next time my boyfriend and I take shrooms
This kind of thing is why her singing deserves to be recognized.
for me it’s the “you know how much i hated it” repeating in the background in the outro
But I could still melt your world, argumentative antithetical dream girl 💕💞💕
Is this from hits different cause I don’t know it lol
So good!
The way her voice cracks on “screaming from the *crypt*” in The Great War scratches a brain-itch I never knew I had 😳
I love 'had a sense I'd been *betrayed*'. She could've said betrayed normally but she really emphasized it and I'm addicted to the way she says it
Ooh, that’s a good one, too. It’s just such a good fucking song 🥹
YES
I love this too, and I’ve never seen it mentioned here so yay!
The “F” sounds she makes in “THAT’S A REAL FFFUCKIN LEGACY…” The BOOST I get from that.
This right here.
The way she says “Living for the thrillll of hitting you where it hurrrrrrts give me back my girlhood it was mine firrrrrsssssssst in WCS. There’s like this plaintive but angry plea mixed with a raspiness and hint of desperation all at once. The ascension of that line is perfection and her vocals are also ✨perfection✨ This one is one of the few that really truly feels like an up all night song pacing and fighting demons. Ugh. I can’t get enough of it for so many reasons.

Whenever I’m faced with something scary at work like a big meeting I say “you’re on your own kid, you can face this” and it HELPS. It helps me feel in control and to take ownership of my piece of work. I love that you said this!
the line from labyrinth "you would break your back to make me break a smile." the lyric combined with the higher vocals is so good, i actually started tearing up the first time i heard it
This is my favorite line in the whole album. It describes my late husband perfectly. Boy, he could make me laugh!
I'm so sorry for your loss. What a lovely trait to have had
it's my favorite for the same reason! a lot of taylor's songs remind me of my husband but labyrinth is really something special
Yes! That line and "I'll be getting over you my whole life". 🥺 Labyrinth is so underrated.
YEEEESSS came here to say this. I also welled up hearing that line first time. Took me by surprise
when it came on i was NOT ready...by 'tearing up' i actually mean 'i cried the rest of the song and had to pause the album for a minute' lol
When she sings high on "never take advice from someone who's falling apart" 😍 in Dear Reader. it's sooo beautiful
It’s like a stab to the heart every time
“Get it off my DEEEEEESK” in lavender haze (the second one). I’m obsessed
I love how she says "you wouldn't know what i meeeaaann" in karma.
SWOOPING SLOPING CURSIVE LETTERS
Let the only flashing lights be the tower at MIDNIIIGHT
It took my until today to realise she means no paps so I love this line a lot right now
“You were standing hollow-eyed in the hallway” gives me chills every time I listen to it for some reason (and that’s a lot of times because Maroon is in my top 2 favourite songs on Midnights). That and the transition into the bridge in Dear Reader (my other favourite).
It's such perfect imagery.
“So I wander through these NIGHTS. I prefer hiding in plain SIGHT.”
_my fourth drink in my HAND, these desperate prayers of a cursed MAN_
spilling out to you for free but *darling darling please* Ugh just love it.
I know it's probably cringy but I love the audio feel of the beginning of Paris - "some wannabe Z-lister and all the outfits were terrible, 2003 unbearable."
I love this section too! Especially with the "no I didn't but thanks though" to cap it off at the end - so good
The bridge of The Great War! Tbh the whole song. I love it so much
*IT TURNED INTO SOMETHING BIGGER*
Yes. Yes. YES.
"There's no morning glory. It was war, it wasn't fair."
I love the way “And by the way, I’m going out tonight” sounds on Bejeweled.
The way she sings “the rubies that I gave up” on Maroon. I am obsessed.
Also the end of the question…? Bridge. “But toniiiiiiiiiight, can i ask u a question (can i ask u a question!)”
Mine is also from Question…? ! But it’s the line: “you painted all my nights a color I’ve searched for since” I love the way she sings it and I tie it back to the line in illicit affairs: “you showed me colors you know I can’t see with anyone else.”
*(CAN I ASK YOU A QUESTIONNNNNN!!!)*
Oh my God, this part was playing over here literally as I read this, lol. So crazy!
This makes me die every single time.
I JUST NEED THIS LOVE SPIRAL I know you which one I mean
I DO know which one you mean!
The first 3 seconds of Hits Different, because I could tell just in those 3 seconds that it was gonna be my favorite
Does it sound like "Free Fallin'" by Tom Petty to you?
Oh my goddddd wait
Yes, but how about near the end when she fires out..."or take me AWAY!!!"
I LOVE her self conscious soft spoken “is that your key in the door? Is it okay? Is it you?” And then comes that huge exhalation of “or have they come to take me AWAYYYYYYYY” it’s PERFECT.
“Where I pace in my pen, and my friends found friends who care” hit pretty hard
And the next line: No one sees when you lose when you’re playing solitaire I used to actually play solitaire a lot. I still play lots of indie video games that are very single player only experiences because I don’t even want to compare my stats in conversations with other people. Made me feel very seen that I hide in my introversion like that sometimes.
Why have I always thought she meant her writing pen, but now I realize she probably means like a cage pen. Funny how things can be interpreted differently.
the mastermind bridge 😭 and also “I thought the plane was going down howd you turn it right around” it sounds so hopeful 🥺
“Levitate above all the messes made” for some reason is just so pleasing to me
I'm almost surprised this was her and Jack and not Aaron, because this is an extremely "The National" lyric to me.
the build in You're On Your Own, Kid is AHHHHH
I KNOW.
the "there's no morning glory it was war it wasn't fair" feels like she's stretching my heart I swear sometimes I just keep listening the same seconds in loop
That whole bridge... pure perfection
Karma’s a relaxing thought. Aren’t you envious that for you it’s not?
YOYOK: The little downshift sound in the background after “so long daisy mae” alwaysss gets me
Did you leave her house in the middle of the night? OOOH Did you wish you put up more of a fight? OOOH
I LOVE THE OOHS.
Dear reader “so I wander through these nights”
_I prefer hiding in plain sight_
My fourth drink in my hand, These *desperate prayers of a cursed man*
The vocal layering in karma
When she says meet me at midnight on lavender haze.
I THINK ITS TIME TO TEACH SOME LESSONS
“I’m only cryptic and Machiavellian ‘cause I careeee” is the single best line on the album in my opinion. Gives me chills every time, it’s the strongest moment on Mastermind.
I wait the entire song for this line! It’s so good!
“ And I miss you but I miss sparkling “
Probably one of my favourite lyrics in the whole album.
The strings in the chorus of Mastermind. Fell in love with the song when I first heard them with head phones. I was honestly pretty "meh" about the song until then.
the (I'M SO IN LOVE!!!!) in the background in the beginning of the second chorus of paris 🥰🥰🥰🥰
“Baby love I think I’ve been a little too…KiNd 😉”
The sound at the very beginning of bejeweled. Someone here said it sounds like jewelry and I love it. It literally makes the whole song ✨shimmer✨
the bridges in Paris and Maroon, they made me fucking ASCEND
When her voice breaks at the end of *”to you I can admit, that I’m just too soft, for all of it”* Something gets me in her enunciation of “that’s a *real fucking legacy*” Iconic moment in anti-hero; *”everybody agreeeeeesssssss”* The *”oo OO oo OO oo oo oo oo oo oo o ooooooo”* of high infidelity When she sings *”do I really have to tell you how he brought me back to life?”* like it’s something she was trying to avoid saying (heh I guess you could say she was *dancing around it* lol) because she knows it’ll hurt him because it’s so true and she’s mad that he basically dragged it out of her
ALL of “Vigilante Shit.” It’s SO not the type of song I would usually like. But she just kills me from the beginning! I was intrigued and sucked in to that world completely. I loved it. So I guess my exact favorite moment is… “Draw the cat eye sharp enough to kill a man.” because it begins a few minutes where I feel I’m living this different life completely!
For me it’s probably either the harmony on “I’ll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror” in Anti Hero or when her voice breaks off into two and one harmony goes super high during “the mark they saw on my collarbone” in one of Maroon’s choruses
My favourite is probably the distorted voice in Midnight Rain…
Maroons bridge. I was so suprised when that aggressive fucking was sung. Never before had I heard her pronounce that word with so much angst and anger. You can feel that she basically bites her lower lip with her front teeth while singing that word. I just love it.
Say a solemn prayer / place a poppy in my hair
stained glass windows in my mind.. I regret you all the time
When she says ”politics and gender roles“ in Question…?
and finally the hiss in anti-hero. overall literally just the whole album
I can't choose so I'm listing the following Lavender Haze bridge (the beat and vocal delivery) The chorus and ending lines of You're Own Your Own Kid The whole 2nd verse of Question...? (vocals and "dickhead") Sweet Nothings piano riff and the second half of the final chorus
High infedility put on your records and regret meeting me I love the way she sings that line but I think bc it leads up to it in the song. I love this song so much. Everything about it is genius in the way she writes it
At the house lonely, I’d pay good money if you just know me
the outtro of "labyrinth" (2:54 onward)! also, that little "NICE!" in "bejeweled" sounds...well, really nice.
“Yeah, oh yeah” I can’t help but be as obnoxious as possible singing this part in lavender haze.
The little noise at the beginning of “Lavender Haze”
In general, the excitement I felt listening through the album for the first time. Someone else mentioned the way she sings “it was…” during the second chorus in Maroon, I absolutely love that. I also really like the way she delivers the line “I pictured you with other girls in looOOoove” so sweet and dreamy, then promptly follows it up on the other end of the romance spectrum with a short and “then threw up on the street.” Honestly? Peak comedy.
"to you I can admit, that I'm just to soft for all of it" Me too, Taylor, me too.
From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this I hosted parties and starved my body Like I'd be saved by a perfect kiss The jokes weren't funny, I took the money My friends from home don't know what to say I looked around in a blood-soaked gown And I saw something they can't take away
Karma is my boyfriend
The way she says “running” in sweet nothing chorus
And I never don’t cry (AND I NEVER DONT CRY)
The rubies that I gave up! I swear, the first time listening to Maroon, when this line came in I almost died hahaha It was perfect!
SO I JUSTIFIED IT
“Step by step from town to town” makes me feel like I’m ready to go on an adventure
Jack’s guttural sounds in the intro of Labryinth
This is one of my least favorite parts of the whole album. What do you like about it? Maybe I could appreciate it more
It’s so fun!
The entire Bejeweled MV, instant clasic imo
so many faves but the outro to labyrinth….. beautiful
Everybody agrees, everybody agreeeeessssssssssssssss
Not Midnights, but still a pretty recent release. I love it in I Bet You Think About Me where she goes, "And I'll bet your friends tell you she's better than me. *Huh*." Also the way she sneers "million dollar couch".
Sobbing with your head in your hands, ain't that the way shit always ends Her voice is so heavy, and every relationship I've had ended like this.
……..checkmate, I couldn’t lose.
Karma is the guy on the screen COMING STRAIGHT HOME TO ME I love how she pronounces guy too
The drop in “Labyrinth” around the 3 minute mark. It sounds incredible on good speakers.
The way she says “portal” in midnight rain, makes my brain go brrrrr
Ok I’ve tried to tell this to my friend but I live for the WHEEOW at the end of “It came like a postcard Picture perfect, shiny family Holiday, peppermint candy” WHEEOW You know????
While it’s usually a skip for me, this line in Dear Reader hits hard: “Never take advice from someone who’s falling apart”
the way "stumble down pretend alleyways" sounds
“Smoking with your boys,” in YOYOK. she has such a whispery inflection, it has such Lana Del Rey vibes to it. I’m obsessed with how she sings it.
She laced the “uh-huhs” from the great war with crack
“To you I can admit, that I’m just too soft for all it” really touched me the first time I heard it. One of my favorite moments of the album!
[удалено]
Maybe I'm crazy, but sometimes I think Maroon has to be one of the best songs she's ever written.
Not crazy. That is a fact.
It’s also the same melody as “is this the end of all the endings?” from King of my Heart 🙂
"I swear that it was something..."
YOYOK bridge and labyrinth vocal effects
Can’t explain why, but the first line of Bejeweled “Baby love, I think I've been a little too kind” and the way she sings it just makes my brain so happy. Sometimes while listening to the song I restart it again and again to hear that line. Also, the whole Mastermind bridge that starts with “no one wanted to play with me as a little kid-“ and needs with “-this is the first time I’ve felt the need to confess” hurts my soul in the best way possible.
The way she says “she’s laughing up at us from hell”
Outro on WCS -- her unrelenting anger/anguish as she sings the lyrics over and over to that war-like drum beat, all mixed with religious imagery of stained glass windows in her mind of a sacred experience stolen and turned haunted and haunting. What she knows now taints the memory of the heavenly experience of being with a guy who hurt her deeply--and the girl is mad about it. It's such a cathartic and honest song
The Paris notes in Maroon. Edited: 3:25-3:26 You hear the drums (idk) and her say "Paris".
Mastermind bridge
In Karma, during the bridge when she says “why so many FADE..” oof man, that “fade” is just perfect
my forth drink in my hand these desperate prayers of a CURSED MAN
“I’m only cryptic and Machiavellian cause I care!”
“Draw the cat eye sharp enough to kill a man..” just HITS you.
The moment in Question when she’s singing “can I ask you a question” and her background vocal comes in like “CAN I ASK YOUUU A QUESTIONNN”. I hope someone knows what I’m talking about lol
The chorus in Maroon where her voice is super deep. Very sexy feeling!
The bridge in YOYOK
Romance is not dead if you keep it just yours
"Karma is gonna track you down, step by step, *from town to town*" just does something to my brain I can't explain
How the first song says ‘meet me at midnight’
Honestly the entire bridge to Dear Reader but “these desperate PRAYERS OF A CURSED MAN” gets me every time.
“I regret you all the time” hits so hard
not sure if someone said this already but: ✨sweet like HUH-NEYYY✨ makes me come alive lol u/thidwickthemoose explained this really well but in WCS when she sings "give me back my girlhood, it was mine first". i just love that she didn't round out the vowels on "girl" and "first".
“Give me back my girlhood it was. Mine. FIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRST.”
