I deliberately chose a dress for my wedding that I'd be able to wear again, because I didn't like the shrine idea either (not a typical wedding dress and not all white). Unfortunately I ended up losing weight after my wedding so now the dress is too big, and I don't trust any of the tailors where I live due to too many bad experiences, so it's gone back to being a shrine ππ
