No, you're thinking of something else, as weird as that feels to say.
The person you're responding to is referring to a short bit in Season 2 where Goku reaches the top of the tower and sees Popo but it quickly cuts back to adult Goku having a PTSD-induced panic attack.
What you're thinking of *is* a bit from Totally Not Mark's review of OG Dragonball which features a longer version of the same scene with an actual dialogue exchange, with Lani and Masako providing voices.
Between things like sassy queen Sharpner, Dende's jealous grudge of Videl, and even moar Mr Satan - Who wouldn't want more of what Buu bits had to offer?
Just a shame that burnout caught up with them.
The fact that they're not only making HIFL but that making it is exciting for them means we're on the best timeline. Nothing worse than creative people just dragging their way through making something.
>Gotta keep that gas lit
The delivery in that is so funny. I’ve always been a fan of Mr. Satan, even in the original. I love their take on him, and I would love to see more of him.
I've never cared about Sharpener as a character until Buu Bits had him steal the show in the scene he was in, lol. It almost makes me wish Gohan and Videl would still hang out with him and Erasa in Super or something.
I'll never stop wanting more TFS Dragon Ball.
I'll also never stop respecting them for following their own joy and doing whatever else they want to do.
I'm very appreciative of what we got
But like Kaiser and Lani said in the commentary, was it narratively fulfilling and did it provide the closure everyone wanted? No, but it was something new and probably all we'll ever get
I'm happy nonetheless
That checks out if you think about it. Goku and Vegeta were the 2 strongest characters at that point not counting Buu. They surpassed the Kais, they easily surpassed Frieza and Cell, and when Goku died he was only Super Saiyan. Vegeta was far stronger when he died than Goku was when he died.
I will never stop hoping for some sort of continuation.
But that doesn't mean I've also accepted that probably won't happen (at least not for a long time).
Devils advocate, the fanbase wouldn’t be so pushy if TFS actually put the series to rest. Dont get me wrong I love HIFL and the shortz, but they really feel like shallow appeasement to hold on to their audience with nostalgia and a tease of a possibility of a come back with no intention of follow through.
In all honesty watching Lani and Kaiser do commentary on the Buu Bits gave me a lot of closer that i didnt know i needed for the series. I love Akira Toriyama, but DBZA did it better.
I'm honestly in the opposite boat. Im glad we got the buu bits but they make me glad we didn't get the buu saga as i don't think it could ever be as good as the cell saga. Granted im kind if a buu saga hater
Bro I want to rob every bank just to bribe Toei to let DBZA do 100% of Dragon Ball OG, Z, and Super Even if that means that that they're never going to animate anything in the manga past TOP like Moro and Granolah which they are already never going to animate since they don't have balls which means its a win win
I'm honestly satisfied with Buu bits. I wish they'd do something like that for OG, GT, and Super.
Only thing I want more in depth is the rest of the movies
Id love a dragonball og series bit style
Didn't totally not mark have them do a small DG bit when Goku met popo?
There was a bit in episode 11 where goku has a flashback to meeting popo on the lookout as a kid. Maybe it was that?
Yep that's the one I'm talking about

Any way you could point me in the direction of this with a link. I’d love to see

That was a very fun ride
Watching their GT reviews had made me want GT buts as well.
> GT Buts r/FunnyTypos
Normally I'd correct it but GT really is the butt of Dragon Ball so I'm leaving it be this time.
👀 in the works.. (not from tfs but still)
Between things like sassy queen Sharpner, Dende's jealous grudge of Videl, and even moar Mr Satan - Who wouldn't want more of what Buu bits had to offer? Just a shame that burnout caught up with them.
Burnout, but let's be honest. A group of talented people as they are shouldn't be chained to something they can't realistically make money off of
The fact that they're not only making HIFL but that making it is exciting for them means we're on the best timeline. Nothing worse than creative people just dragging their way through making something.
My 2 favorite parts of Buu Bits: 1) I *am* an adult 2) Gotta keep that gas *lit*
My favorite was the Vegeta sacrifice scene. Idk why but the "best buddy" line works so well.
"Vegeta No!" Vegeta YEESSSSSSS!" Had me both laughing and tearing up. A perfect TFS moment.
Idk about y’all, but I feel like a good one was Roshi’s “BACK IN MY DAY, A HOLE WAS A HOLE!” Cracks me up every time.
On a similar note, piccolo's complete misunderstanding of what "non-binary" meant was gold.
Oh, yeah, I forgot about that! Although I do believe that was Krillin, though.
>Gotta keep that gas lit The delivery in that is so funny. I’ve always been a fan of Mr. Satan, even in the original. I love their take on him, and I would love to see more of him.
I felt this after witnessing Sharpener!
If you believe Sharpner didn’t carry the Buu Bits…we fighting
He knows we love him don’t we
I love how when Scott is explaining the development of the character in the commentary video he says "Sassy gay people exist, we- they exist!"
I thought he did! Lol!
I've never cared about Sharpener as a character until Buu Bits had him steal the show in the scene he was in, lol. It almost makes me wish Gohan and Videl would still hang out with him and Erasa in Super or something.
He is hilarious and I will quote everything he says.
I'll never stop wanting more TFS Dragon Ball. I'll also never stop respecting them for following their own joy and doing whatever else they want to do.
I’m content with not getting more, but I still wish we could get some
I'm very appreciative of what we got But like Kaiser and Lani said in the commentary, was it narratively fulfilling and did it provide the closure everyone wanted? No, but it was something new and probably all we'll ever get I'm happy nonetheless
This is the only Herbert joke I've ever laughed at. Bravo.
I’m devastated that I never got to see King Yemma tell Abridged Vegeta he’s the strongest person who has ever died.
Very very true. Love the GT commentaries though
Hearing their ideas of how things could have gone or even just things characters could say at certain points in the GT commentaries has been great
They did do a few [DragonBall Super](https://youtu.be/TvRraFtgJ3w?si=2iP6LzUhx_HjbmA2) shorts like the Buu Bits before they finished the Cell saga.
Whis as a therapist works.
All I’m asking for is every kai looking at Zamasu disgusted after saying “Ningen” to Goku.
I will never stop hoping for some sort of continuation. But that doesn't mean I've also accepted that probably won't happen (at least not for a long time).
Please suh, can I has some Bojack
Considering Bojack in HFIL, it might be good that they didn't do that movie.
i know they aren’t going to do it, but i wish they would. life is just incomplete without it
I'd love to see their rendition of the Tournament of Power arc.
Exactly
But God it tastes so good
“God I missed you”

Facts
You aren't wrong
I'm honestly in the opposite boat. Im glad we got the buu bits but they make me glad we didn't get the buu saga as i don't think it could ever be as good as the cell saga. Granted im kind if a buu saga hater
I want more but am content with not getting it.
_His name was Vegeta_ . . .
Some of us? All of us….

I'll always want more TFS Dragon Ball. But the Buu Bits was something I needed. I'm satisfied and looking forward to HFIL.
I'm honestly satisfied with Buu bits. I wish they'd do something like that for OG, GT, and Super. Only thing I want more in depth is the rest of the movies
I think it's mostly because the buu bits show they haven't lost their touch at all. The writing is just as good
Accurate. Very accurate.
Give it 2-5 years. They'll be back with more.
