+1 to this, I ordered this brand of tempered glass and it definitely does the job. But it isn't available yet for the Samsung A55. You can search thru the orange & blue app for affordable ones, same with the cases too. ☺️

yung ganito ko naman before, a week pa lang after pagkalagay may cracks na agad sa gilid gilid lol hinayaan ko na lang at inintay mag 1 year bago ko pinaltan haha sayang e, mas mahal din kasi to compared sa mga generic tempered glass sa shopee. nung nagpalit na ko ng phone, yung sa smartdevil naman ang binili ko. so far, ala pa naman cracks, 3 months na phone ko haha
I've used both expensive and cheap tempered glasses sa lahat ng naging phones ko. Parang wala naman akong na-notice na difference in terms of how the tempered glass can prevent pagkabasag ng screen. Never pa kasi akong nabasagan ng phone screen kahit na cheap tempered glass lang from Shopee from a seller in China pa hahaha -- I bought the tempered glass of my S20FE dun sa KMOMO [3C.Shop](http://3C.Shop) for P39 lol. Walang black borders and yung linya-linya thing na nakita ko when I bought tempered glass from another seller and I did not need to use yung parang liquid glue. Basta inalis ko lang yung nakadikit na plastic tas kinabit ko na sa clean phone ko. Nababasagan lang ako ng tempered glass when my phone dropped at an angle sa mabato na area / hard surfaces like marble (ex. last month my S20FE dropped at an angle sa floor ng bldg with marble flooring). Pag "regular fall" (yung parang "flat" na pagkahulog), hindi naman nababasag tempered glass ko.
Ang mas tinitignan kong feature is yung fit ng tempered glass sa specific phone ko kaya lagi ako nagbabasa ng comments. Tho yung S20FE kasi hindi naman super thin bezels like the full flagship phones, so I have a bit of leeway (I imagine na for full flagship phone users, baka need nilang super precise na fit for tempered glass). But since A55 is midrange, thicker bezels niyan sa FE version, so may leeway ka rin sa fit.
Update: The S24 tempered glass I order from KMOMO doesn't work with S24's ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. I only had 1 fingerprint registered prior to installing the glass. After installing, I tried redoing my fingerprint, but the phone doesn't even read any fingerprint. I then removed the tempered glass to register my fingerprints w/o it then replaced it, but phone still couldn't read my fingerprints with the tempered glass on.
SmartDevil tempered glass is pretty good. I haven't browsed though if it's available for your phone model. https://shp.ee/ejbhdya

tried smartdevil pero nag crack agad. idk case to case basis siguro or depende sa impact nung pag ka bagsak 🤷🏻♀️
