Just because someone enjoys metal doesn't mean they've had an easy life. People are complex and have a range of likes, dislikes, and experiences. I've been an avid metal enjoyer since I was 12 and got into brutal death at 16, and I have had far from an easy life. I live with literal and figurative scars that haunt me daily. And I still made it out alive. You may say that's god, and you might be right, but I made it out alive whilst listening to slamming brutal death metal the entire way. Which, according to you, shouldn't be possible.
