The insurance will cover the repairs and when they missed business days they'll have to show how much they usually made per day to determine their financial damage.
I don't think they'll gain much from broken doors and some windows, perhaps some inventory.

My best friends mom died when she was walking down the sidewalk leaving work and someone hit the gas in drive instead of reverse and slammed her into the building. It's been 35 years, and I still won't walk in front of a car running with someone in the driver seat.
Yes the mayor of a town near me drove his vehicle through a liquor store. He was drunk🤦🏽♀️
There was also an elderly lady that ran her vehicle into the front of a nail salon by my house
They need to put some cement barricades up or something. That should do the trick
True. Where I live a 93 year old woman just pled guilty to hitting a reporter w/ her vehicle. She was 92 at the time of the accident. Her drivers license was suspended for a year (& some fines). She volunteerly turned in her license & won't be driving again.
They built a new shopping center near us and it took forever for anything in it to open. They put a mattress store in there and within the first week of it finally being open, a car just drove straight into it, so it was closed again for awhile. It was truly wild.

YES! I say this all the time! I think that every time you renew your license you need to take at least a written test like you do when you first get it.

this is why curb barriers are more common in other places like western europe - it seems crazy that stuff like this happens regularly, but when no preventative measures are taken in a car centric culture/infrastructure, here’s the result
