I am American and I know most people say it as "Zee" But to differentiate for me, I say it as "Zed" Edit: Because it's weird to say 2 different letters to same.

The alphabet literally existed before the song, I don't know what to tell you, dude. The song itself takes the tune from "twinkle twinkle little star" which took its tune from "Ah, vous dirai-je, Maman". To change the pronunciation of a letter of the english alphabet just so it rhymes with the other letters in a song PARODY made of a bunch of ALREADY EXISTING letters is pretty damn stupid, if you ask me.
