Struggles : Anything high pressure like hwo or mishimas with good wavus, obscure chars (zaf, anna, bears) because i wont be bothered to lab them, and more generally anything when used by people who sidestep a lot (fujin+ ranks)
Highly offensive chars make my brain shutdown, feels like im pressing b and they spam away until I reach a wall, jab and get CH because the string aint over.
Receiving end of good wavus make me impressed, scared and horny at the same time.
Sidesteppers are just better players overall, I'm trying to incorporate that into my games but ive been a scrub so long its taking time
Kuni is a bit harder because she has a lot of mixups. But for Noctis, you can sidestep a lot of his gimmicks, and he crumbles under pressure and close-range. If you just started playing, you probably have low rank Noctis players spamming weapons so just sidestep that shit; only his ff1+2 scissors tracks well iirc
Main: Chloe. And I struggle most vs Kazuya. Because his kick animation triggers me, his flying kick animation, it tilts me, it doesn't make sense to me that you're pretty much lying on the floor, his fly kick has his leg POINTING DIAGONALLY UPWARDS and he STILL HITS YOU WITH IT!!
I've only been playing for two weeks, so for me it's more or less every character I haven't played against, but generally rushdown characters as I play King and Marduk
I main Kuni, Leroy, and Chloe, but had a character crisis before I solidified my choices
Personally had problems with low rank spamming and hyper aggressiveness, but when focusing on offline specifically, the Law, Ling, Eddy, and Jin matchups have been my kryptonite. The lone Jin in my state is one of those players that go toe to toe with others like PhiDX and Anakin, our other only resident Law is no slouch either, the Law player's daughter Is a Ling player that I always run into losers, and we ended up making a contest out of it. The Eddy player is basically been my mentor on the game.
All of them I have problems with, and have been massive hurdles for me.
Main: Drag/Jack (with a pocket Leroy)
Struggle against Zafina, Hwrowang, William sisters, Ling(fuck ling, fuck the character, fuck people who play her, double fuck the people who chose to main her, fuck the lead/original person who designed her)
I just got back into the game after a 4 year hiatus and main Asuka since I like playing defensively.
I generally have trouble with people who are good at punishing my counter, which is mostly everyone who is even slightly quick.

I struggle against Lucky Chloe, Noctis (fuck him) and probably Hwoarang bc i cant reach him
but fuck Noctis and his shitty ass anime haircut
Main lee and play nina and jin on the side. Im just plain bad vs akuma and still struggle against lei. Just dont have too much experience against those characters so i get washed when i get matched up against good ones.
Main Steve and I always fucked up against low spamming characters like Dragunov and Feng. Those two are absolute nightmares for me to face.

down forward 1 is ur bread and butter if u want to surprise them and sweep them. its reach is sneakingly far and a great launcher

I agree on ling. She's just so infuriating to fight against, it makes no sense
Yoshi and I struggle versus Zafina and Feng because their key moves go under all the moves I want to throw out lol. Play a real char losers.
