No. There was a color called "Silver Metallic" in earlier days, but this one is the new "Quicksilver" made (for the moment) only at Giga Berlin. It has more depth and more shine than the original silver metallic.
Not sure which models, it was discontinued in 2018.

I cancelled my Model Y pre order late last year for a variety of reasons (dodged a bullet with the price drops!) BUT Silver is my favorite car color and this looks way way better than white. It wouldn’t be enough to get me back but would definitely move the needle. A redesign would help too.

In Germany you aren‘t allowed to get black plates. You have to have the plates shown in the photo.

All I’ve read is that the Austin and Fremont factories “aren’t equipped with the right systems to paint vehicles this color”… 🤔

Early production Model 3s had this option. I still see them from time to time on the road.
Was it only performance models? I have a 2018 rwdlr and don’t recall that as an option but could have missed it.

That’s a different silver then the quick silver option available in Europe.

According to the Tesla configurator Quicksilver is available in Europe and Middle East.
