Theres a handful of scenes in this show that's about mutilating penis. I find it weird. This show is obsessed with it. Dont get me wrong tho I love this show. society is obsessed with as well. Other shows/movies do it. And It's not just in films I hear people talk and fantasize about it all the time
Woke primarily means being alert social injustices usually involving race. In the last decade or so it’s broadened out to sexism and other things. Nowadays some people try to use it as an insulting term when any kind of media includes things like a gay character or a woman. The term has just been very misused in the last few years
With how much screentime cocks got with Splinter's entire existence, I'd gladly appreciate no more cock screentime for the rest of the season. Honestly starting to get a little gross, and that's a pretty high bar for me.
fwiw, they never showed the cock that was lasered, so thank god for that.
The exploding one was traumatizing and uncalled for…I mean, it’s all unnecessary, but yeah. Like it was just sad and it was a character killing someone he loved on accident? Who thinks of that fucked up shit…
Because it's one of the worst things you can do to a man essentially.
Take away their dick and thats something that sticks with you for your life.
I mean if you ask most guys if they're rather lose and arm or their dick they'd probably choose their arm.
Yeah. I'm hoping they cut back on this shit, but the writers clearly seem to have a fetish for it, so I think this is unfortunately not going to stop. There aren't even any trigger warnings for any of this.
You do realize that a lot of The Boys/Gen V episodes have "trigger warnings," even if they allude to something much more minor, like self-harm (when it turned out to be an ability and not even real self-harm), right? It wouldn't hurt to include trigger warnings for episodes explicitly depicting violent sexual assault and mutilation of men.

That laugh was maniacal
It was improvised by Anthony, and he did a wonderful job
It reminded me of Heath Ledger’s improvised clapping when Gordon got promoted to commissioner. Just eerily dark and terrifying.

Seth Rogan is obsessed with penises. Everything he works on has male full frontal or other penis references. He's an EP on the show.
I feel like theres been very little female nudity lol. Not that I really care tho
I don’t want my show getting wxke anyway, women 🤮
Wxke?
Woke, even though that term wouldn’t apply here at all
Why wouldn't it apply here?

Yeah I was being sarcastic
i actually really like that, a lot of media oversexualize the female body. i think it’s damn time that men get over-sexualized
Men in media get oversexualized all the time lmao
since when aren’t a ton of male characters Sexualized
Dude is in the closet. The weiner in every episode is getting old.
Give me More pee pee
I thought the exact same thing. I'm really tired of mutilated penises, exploded penises, lasered penises, and penises altogether.

Show is R rated. Theres your warning
You’re 4 seasons out of 5 in and you’re hoping they change something that’s been consistent throughout every season?
What do you mean by trigger warning? How would they do that. Would you want trigger warnings?

Ability or not, Marie does cut herself. That's self-harm.
