Season 2 is so good. It has a very slow start, but with MC without ki, but when it pick up, it's really good indeed.

I hated how long it took him to get around to trying to get his ki center fixed. It's like, "dude, you **know** people in the alliance are going to come after you even without it and there are bad people who need to be shut down, so just get the tools you need so you can do what has to be done"

I disagree, I'm rereading it now, and I can see that MC suffers from severe depression, this just makes me like him even more, even when everything seems lost he continues :3
Well, he was bullied every day, then a hero appears and save him and agrees to teach him, and then proceeds do betray him (in his point of view), and his mother (so far his only family) dies from the consequences of the circumstances, and his only friend needs to be send away for protection purposes, with no way for him to contact her...

When first reading New Waves, it was kinda infuriating how long it took for him to get around to it. After rereading it, it was still frustrating, but even more so because I knew just how much that delay held him back.
