10/10, my favorite sad cure song. Should have been on the album. A beautiful, simple, and moving song with relatable lyrics and no elements which feel out of place, other than it being the b-side to The 13th, which is an odd pairing.
Edit: it was also the b-side on the US and EU release for The 13th.
Here we go - the first of the *Wild Mood Swings* b-sides, which fans have debated the quality of for years, including which ones they’d switch out and put on the album if given their choice.
6 for this one. It’s not bad but goes on a bit long, and it’s one of several b-sides where Robert mumbles part of the verse vocals.
This, combined with the wonky, vocal-heavy mix, makes it really feel like an unfinished track that grew out of a jam.

Really good but I sort of understand it not being on the album cos it feels like it inhabits a separate mood. Maybe it would have worked as the album closer.
8/10 It's sad and angry. The growl of the wah pedal on it feels primal. The irony of enjoying the anger of a song about Robert feeling like he has given all of himself to the audience is not lost on me.
WMS had some incredible B-Sides. Nearly all of which I prefer to most of the album.
8. This is a weird one, but I like it. Not my favorite WMS b-side as it does seem more like a demo, but it has a bit of that dark Wish-y sound to it that a lot of people were missing at the time.

It think it could have been better with a different mix and also some editing. You can barely hear the acoustic guitar, and the psychedelic guitar is often overpowered by the percussion. It’s still better than a number of tracks on the album, though.

9 – The "This Twilight Garden" of Wild Mood Swings
Really strong b side. 10.

10. One of the songs that cruelly tricked me into thinking WMS was going to be amazing!

But the album is full of moods. Wild mood swings. lol
True, but there must be a reason they picked a clunker like Club America over this :)
10 Great song
9. Such a sad song. I find it hard to listen to as it makes me cry,.
High 9 - i love all the bsides from WMS so much.

7 - High highs and low lows, would love to have a mix with more effort. Seems pretty obvious this wasn't an album-ready track.

10. Possibly the strongest non single of the era. Love it.
