Yup I’m picking this one. They’d both be prepared (probably with food and drink) and would be the most likely to be willing to compromise over entertainment, detours, stops, etc. Plus they could keep up with a conversation without feeling the need to fill every silence.
This. A younger me would’ve picked Sokka & Azula but as great as the story would be to tell after the fact, I don’t need **that** level of nonsense in my life.
If it was 2-4 hours I might roll the dice.

I'd love that car. They'd be chill with me taking naps, we'd have interesting conversations that made me think and possibly give me revelations about myself, we'd take weird detours to look at weird things and try new food, I'd hear great stories, Iroh would be interested in me pointing out weird-looking birds, it'd just be a great experience.

It's the only one that wouldn't drive me crazy. Mai wouldn't talk, Ty Lee would be annoying, and I'm not driving with Azula for obvious reasons. Zuko and Suki would be okay but awkward. I can easily see myself being friends and holding conversations with both Katara and Iroh.

Car 1: Aang will take a random shortcut and get lost. He's having the time of his life but Mai will get everyone arrested for using caltrops on the other cars.
Car 2: Iroh will get to your destination safely... eventually. Katara has road-rage against inconsiderate drivers. There will be a group therapy session.
Car 3: Ty-Lee is doing stunt-driving; Toph is the most aggressive driver you've ever met. Also she can't see anything.
Car 4: Sokka's probably a good driver on his own, but Azula won't let him have the wheel.
Car 5 blows up in Zuko's face (like everything always does).
Still better than the average elderly driver we have here, plus they'd probably be really funny in that car

Car 3 would be the most unhinged shit you could ever experience while driving. Ty Lee driving, trying to do stunts and Toph enabling her by building the sickest ramps in history would be hilarious.

Katara and Toph in one car could get really funny, you could even let Toph drive, she'll repair the cars while Katara heals the person's when something goes wrong lol

I think only three people would be up to the task of driving - the only ones with comparable experience are Sokka (canoe and sailboat), Zuko (ship, canoe, and hot air balloon) and Suki (hot air balloon).

Pretty much, don't think the intention of this meme is to put characters together that don't get along necessarily.
Depends on what era Zuko. If it's post arc Zuko, yeah, you are probably fine. Season 1 Zuko would probably be a terrible backseat driver.
Also I would not recommend ever being stuck in an enclosed space with Azula. Or ten hours straight of Sokka's jokes. You may or may not welcome the sweet embrace of death that comes when Azula eventually electrocutes or burns the whole car
Car 1 : I'll be ready to murder Aang after 1 hour because he just doesn't shut up while Mai will only open her mouth every 20 minute to say she wants to die or mock someone.
Car 2 : Peacefull trip filled with stories, games and Iroh giving life advice. Probably one or two thermos of tea too.
Car 3 : Toph is blind and I would somehow trust Ty-Lee even less behind the wheel. Probably too busy fearing for my life while the menaces somehow have fun.
Car 4 : Either the best trip ever because both have the best jokes, or Azula is in a bad mood and I'm pretty sure I'll never reach the destination.
Car 5 : Very awkward, maybe some interesting discussion about Martial Arts in the second half, but more likely for Zuko to just stay still because "*I'm sorry I burnt your village*".
So car 2 is the best bet, car 4 if you are feeling lucky.
I think Aang isn't _that_ much of a motormouth unless he's excited about something.
For what it is worth, Suki doesn't seem to hold hard feelings against Zuko. The KW have even bodyguarded him a few times. Guess breaking her out of prison and helping end the war made it even.
My money is on Toph somehow using metalbending to drive, ty Lee getting bored, then Toph being like, fibe you take a go

Iroh would turn it into a scenic Sunday drive, and Katara would almost certainly agree to the peace of that. They’re probably the safest vehicle, but they’d also be the slowest.
I feel like Mai is going to call Aang annoying, then stare silently out the window for the rest of the trip while Aang talks your ear off. Which, to be fair, still sounds like an excellent time.
I feel like if you managed to engage her in some way ("yo, look out for animals or waterfalls or cool stuff") it could be a lot of fun.
Whenever I get bored, Aang would always be willing to talk or invent some kind of car game. Whenever I feel introverted, Mai would be fine not talking for hours straight, and probably be able to intimidate Aang into silence.
Just aang trying to make positive conversation the whole time and mei just being like "uhh, yeah thats real interesting..." then glaring out the window sounds hilarious
I was totally picking this car because the entertainment value of the snark and the light…but I didn’t think about how much Toph would hate the car. That changes things, she’d make things miserable like when my kid whines “are we there yet?” 😂
Car 1; ‘so do you like elephant koi?’ ‘I hate fish’ ‘oh….’ * 9 hours and 55 minutes of silence*
Car 2; insightful, if slightly annoying after hour 5. You could probably nap in the back seat once you get sick of it.
Car 3; Ty-Lee exclaiming excitedly about things she sees out the window, Toph alternates between playing along or deadpanning
Car 4; pain. Azula and Sokka badgering each other about every possible thing, with Azula keeping her cool more than Sokka
Car 5; surprisingly the most tolerable car ride
IMO Suki and Zuko is the only one where I can imagine there being good fun conversation, interesting stories aswell as comfortable silence, every other car might have some aspect of fun or interesting, but I can imagine every other car would reach a point where it becomes unbearable around 5 hours in (Maaybe not Car 2, but I can imagine Katara would find some kind of hangup about something that could lead to a bit of an argument)
Car 3 toph and ty Lee, Ty would be the bubily girl going did you see that and toph would be like aww I missed it. Which would have me rolling the whole time
Car 1 - Aang would want to make constant pit stops at any place that looked fun and Mai would be pretty apathetic towards everything. I think this attitude would wear on Aang after a while and he’d probably snap at some point. Probably not my favorite, but low key not all that bad either.
Car 2 - The chillest, wisest dude in the entire Avatar canon and the motherly, yet strong willed Katara. I think if Katara was paired with some others, this might be a miserable one since she isn’t afraid to clap back at people she doesn’t like (hell, even Toph can get on her nerves and those two are supposed to be friends), but Iroh definitely wouldn’t give her any reason too. My easy pick.
Car 3 - Ty-Lee’s bubbly personality would almost certainly get on Toph’s nerves and some words would definitely get exchanged at some point. Luckily, I think both are good natured enough that you wouldn’t be put in any danger, but I still don’t think it would be a fun experience.
Car 4 - Azula plots a way to kill you and Sokka the whole drive. Sokka being smart probably realizes this and is working on an escape plan while you drive. The conversation is really awkward because Azula is socially inept and Sokka has to dance around the whole her being a psycho thing. In fact it probably devolves into no conversation at all before you arrive at your destination and Sokka puts his escape plan into motion. Love my boy Sokka, but this is the worst pick.
Car 5 - Second best pick hands down. IIRC Zuko and Suki develop a pretty good friendship in the comics and even discounting that they seem on amicable terms by the end of the show. It’d be like driving two friends somewhere. Just a good time.
Aang and Mai would just be an awkward silence because they have nothing in common.
Katara and Iroh would be incredibly chill for sure. Iroh may not stop talking though
Toph and Ty-lee sounds like incredible chaos energy that burns out too fast and now we still have 5 hours or driving
Sokka and Azula are yelling at each other the whole time. Both of them keep instigating fights when theres a lull

Zuko & Suki. The vibes are delightful the playlist is fire the conversation is hilarious and surprisingly deep and I bet they stop every hour and a half to get snacks. We meet up with the other cars three hours after we get there exhausted from laughing so much. 100000/10

Car 2 : Peacefull trip filled with stories, games and Iroh giving life advice. Probably one or two thermos of tea too. Car 3 : Toph is blind and I would somehow trust Ty-Lee even less behind the wheel. Probably too busy fearing for my life while the menaces somehow have fun. Car 4 : Either the best trip ever because both have the best jokes, or Azula is in a bad mood and I'm pretty sure I'll never reach the destination. Car 5 : Very awkward, maybe some interesting discussion about Martial Arts in the second half, but more likely for Zuko to just stay still because "*I'm sorry I burnt your village*". So car 2 is the best bet, car 4 if you are feeling lucky.
I think Aang isn't _that_ much of a motormouth unless he's excited about something. For what it is worth, Suki doesn't seem to hold hard feelings against Zuko. The KW have even bodyguarded him a few times. Guess breaking her out of prison and helping end the war made it even.
Aang will get mumbo excited everytime he sees a remotely fun looking roadside attraction.
My money is on Toph somehow using metalbending to drive, ty Lee getting bored, then Toph being like, fibe you take a go Ty Lee drives with her feet on the wheel. Probs 50 near death experiences. But they just laugh

It's a hard choice between Katara & iroh or Zuko & Suki
Iroh would turn it into a scenic Sunday drive, and Katara would almost certainly agree to the peace of that. They’re probably the safest vehicle, but they’d also be the slowest.

In the comics they get along well, I would ride with them cuz that would be funny to witness
I feel like Mai is going to call Aang annoying, then stare silently out the window for the rest of the trip while Aang talks your ear off. Which, to be fair, still sounds like an excellent time. I feel like if you managed to engage her in some way ("yo, look out for animals or waterfalls or cool stuff") it could be a lot of fun.
Whenever I get bored, Aang would always be willing to talk or invent some kind of car game. Whenever I feel introverted, Mai would be fine not talking for hours straight, and probably be able to intimidate Aang into silence.

I was totally picking this car because the entertainment value of the snark and the light…but I didn’t think about how much Toph would hate the car. That changes things, she’d make things miserable like when my kid whines “are we there yet?” 😂

That, and it would be the most eventful car ride out of any of the other options. Whether or not anyone survives the car ride is up for debate.

Car 1; ‘so do you like elephant koi?’ ‘I hate fish’ ‘oh….’ * 9 hours and 55 minutes of silence* Car 2; insightful, if slightly annoying after hour 5. You could probably nap in the back seat once you get sick of it. Car 3; Ty-Lee exclaiming excitedly about things she sees out the window, Toph alternates between playing along or deadpanning Car 4; pain. Azula and Sokka badgering each other about every possible thing, with Azula keeping her cool more than Sokka Car 5; surprisingly the most tolerable car ride
Sokka and Azula will 100% start a fight over what route to take/who gets to drive.
Iroh wins. Car 2.

IMO Suki and Zuko is the only one where I can imagine there being good fun conversation, interesting stories aswell as comfortable silence, every other car might have some aspect of fun or interesting, but I can imagine every other car would reach a point where it becomes unbearable around 5 hours in (Maaybe not Car 2, but I can imagine Katara would find some kind of hangup about something that could lead to a bit of an argument)
Car 3 toph and ty Lee, Ty would be the bubily girl going did you see that and toph would be like aww I missed it. Which would have me rolling the whole time
Car 1 - Aang would want to make constant pit stops at any place that looked fun and Mai would be pretty apathetic towards everything. I think this attitude would wear on Aang after a while and he’d probably snap at some point. Probably not my favorite, but low key not all that bad either. Car 2 - The chillest, wisest dude in the entire Avatar canon and the motherly, yet strong willed Katara. I think if Katara was paired with some others, this might be a miserable one since she isn’t afraid to clap back at people she doesn’t like (hell, even Toph can get on her nerves and those two are supposed to be friends), but Iroh definitely wouldn’t give her any reason too. My easy pick. Car 3 - Ty-Lee’s bubbly personality would almost certainly get on Toph’s nerves and some words would definitely get exchanged at some point. Luckily, I think both are good natured enough that you wouldn’t be put in any danger, but I still don’t think it would be a fun experience. Car 4 - Azula plots a way to kill you and Sokka the whole drive. Sokka being smart probably realizes this and is working on an escape plan while you drive. The conversation is really awkward because Azula is socially inept and Sokka has to dance around the whole her being a psycho thing. In fact it probably devolves into no conversation at all before you arrive at your destination and Sokka puts his escape plan into motion. Love my boy Sokka, but this is the worst pick. Car 5 - Second best pick hands down. IIRC Zuko and Suki develop a pretty good friendship in the comics and even discounting that they seem on amicable terms by the end of the show. It’d be like driving two friends somewhere. Just a good time.
The only thing I can see going wrong with car 2 is katara getting major road rage lmao

Iroh and Katara all day, both probably made food and tea and have a super calm aura. Could be a very philosophical ride.
Car 3, we let Toph drive.
Aang and Mai would just be an awkward silence because they have nothing in common. Katara and Iroh would be incredibly chill for sure. Iroh may not stop talking though Toph and Ty-lee sounds like incredible chaos energy that burns out too fast and now we still have 5 hours or driving Sokka and Azula are yelling at each other the whole time. Both of them keep instigating fights when theres a lull Zuko and Suki might be chill and pleasant, but might be more awkward silence depending on Zuko.
Is Toph driving car three? Because rip to those who chose that if she is.

Zuko & Suki. The vibes are delightful the playlist is fire the conversation is hilarious and surprisingly deep and I bet they stop every hour and a half to get snacks. We meet up with the other cars three hours after we get there exhausted from laughing so much. 100000/10

Easy, car 5. Suki is friendly and practical, just good in any situation really, and Zuko will stay quiet the entire trip. Ideal travel companions.

I doubt we’d ever actually reach our destination but you KNOW you wouldn’t be bored for a second with Sokka and Azula. So yeah, I’m going with 4
