I love Aidan Morris, but this is 100% on him.
There's a lot you can't control when it comes to officiating, but you CAN control keeping your mouth shut. Your opinion as to whether or not referees should have thicker skin is meaningless in terms of practical value. If you don't show the ref up, you don't get a yellow for dissent, and if you don't have a yellow card already, that yellow he got for the subsequent foul is interesting, but no big deal. I can forgive the second yellow to an extent; he's trying to make a play and got it wrong. That happens. The first card was completely preventable.
The only problem I have with the first card is the consistency of it all. I love yellows for dissent. I wish refs would do it way way way more often. I don’t love when you only give a single yellow out for dissent all game, when it was obvious that multiple players from both teams were fighting with the ref consistently
Preventable, yes. But frustration boils over. We’re all guilty of sometimes just getting pushed past a line and we snap. Morris being the passionate and aggressive player we love hit a breaking point with that official.
Preventable? Sure. Understandable? 100%. Could’ve been a lot worse. Ref needed told off. Hell, I don’t think anyone of us would have batted an eye, if somebody had accidentally pelted the ref with the ball or body checked them.
Lol all these fans coming to Aidan's support when he very well could have cost us this game. 20 minutes left in the game and Aidan got sent off when we were really pushing and extending the field. The dissent was not a "bullshit" yellow as he continued laying into the ref and throwing his hand and fist at him, not letting the calm go. If this was Kevin Molino last year you'd be flipping cars over and torching them in the streets.
Exactly, and it stands to cost them more than a chance to win that game, that’s a red that could lose the next leg. One player doesn’t make a team, but it certainly makes a difference, especially when you’re already dealing with other injuries/missing players.
100%. Not to mention it's evident that Nancy runs a tight ship. Don't need emotions escalating any higher on or off the pitch any higher than we've already seen.
Yes hahahahahaha it was so funny hahahahah I immediately started laughing hahahahaha well not immediately hahahaha my first thought hahaha was that he just cost us this series haha and how awful of a decision it was ha
Yeah, I guess he can stir shit while watching on TV........should be really helpful. Maybe he should act like a professional and not hurt his own team as he is a critical part of what we do.
I’ve never played in a *professional* competition as a *professional* athlete where it is literally my job to act as a *professional* and not act like a child towards the referee, no.
Unironically the funniest shit I’ve ever seen
Thank god someone posted this. I was laughing so hard I forgot to get a screenshot. Bless you
Yeah, Tigres were taunting like toddlers because they absolutely looked like dog shit. Aiden's first yellow was small dick energy from the ref
He did it the whole time he was walking off the field too lmao. Wouldn’t stop. I love it.

He was channeling Josh Williams vibes

""You must be this tall to ride the rollercoaster" - Michael Scott" - Aiden Morris
yes that red card was hilarious

Was he also flicking off people?
When Miazga did this people thought it was stupid.
L Tri fans did. But nobody cares about them
No, most reasonable people thought it was petty and dumb. This is too. Then Morris continued being petty and dumb and got a costly red card.
Fans are always hypcorites. Crew fans are not excluded. And I agree, it was dumb and lame and reeks of a 13 year old's antics.
Let’s see him do this to Messi lol.
its was funny in the moment due to the absurdity of him turning and doing that, but it really is lame af
Miazga is the worst and fuck that guy especially for this thing
Agree. And this is no different. Just petulant, immature BS that ended up in actions that resulted in a red card later.
Actually, it was kind of lame. Aidan is like an inch taller.
I think Aidan would do it to a 6'5" opponent
He would do it to Wemby
That’s why it’s hilarious. He’s a shit stirrer to his core

It's hard to act professional when the official and the other team are acting like little bitches.
You clearly are not a professional.
No it’s not
Never played in competition before?

Woooooosh
Did the game start before 8? Stop running :)
This sucks.
I'd bench him for two games plus the next CONCACAF leg for this kinda bullshit
