I did this too - the only video I did find was an American one focused on the plagiarism that spliced bits of Kinnock's speech with that of Biden's. So I doubt it was Biden's team wiping it from the Internet but it is odd that there's not a single video of it.

I don't know why he said a thousand generations which was way back in the stone age. Universities haven't been around for 100 generations never mind 1000.
I *think* it was at least partly ad libbed, which might explain things like this. I recall hearing that he had a speech prepared in the usual way but on the day decided it wasn’t right for the event, so he just got up and spoke.
