As I recall the player who posted it had their game language as German, but were verifying the shiny from one of the very first time zones to get the event. So they were probably "flying."
Wow. I live in Florida and have 2 German friends here that have their phone set to their native language and another one from Haiti that has his in Creole. That's a weak assumption at best.
