Arcanine is noted as a legendary Pokémon in the dex, after all.

Not just "a" legendry Pokémon, *the* legendary Pokémon. Lol. I kind of wish the Hisuian form had been a Legendary, which would fix that issue. They could explain it as the Kanto forming be descended from it, losing its power but having some other adaptation that made it thrive. Or just be like Phione and Manaphy - it can breed but the eggs would become Kanto form.

Yep - there's 2 reasons for it: 1 - Furfrou can't be obtained in any of the Switch games at this point without transferring one from HOME. (It's one of like 10 or so 'mons that can't be encountered in any of the Switch games at all) 2 - Transferring Furfrou from the 3DS games to HOME causes it to revert to the default form; the only way to register the various Trims to the HOME 'dex is to transfer them directly from GO.

Looking at it now it’s only good for other furfrous in home. Which to me isn’t that important

I actually like that the legendaries are gone from research breakthroughs. It just cheapened the feel of legendaries to me. I would prefer if they have a boosted shiny rate to anything shiny eligible from a breakthrough, focused on things in the tier of Larvitar, Jangmo-o, Frigibax, Beldum, etc. but I don't mind ones like Furfrou if they're boosted shiny rates. They're valuable and exciting to get, without feeling like it devalues ones outside of it

Bruh, you get these once a week IF you played EVERY singe day. Are you freaking serious? If they want them to be super super rare they shouldn't have implemented the XL candy system where you need to do a hundred raids plus of one single pokemon to get it to max level.

Your comment makes 0 sense. You emphasize you don't get them often and then complain that the problem is you need to get a massive number of them. If that's the case then you shouldn't care if you get them as a weekly reward as they're irrelevant

I can understand removing legendaries. But also still it’s only once a week. And you can easily host 7 5 star raids. Or have a consistent ~15% chance of getting one every day (in a week you’d have a good chance of getting one). But at least make it something good. I feel like it would have to be a really high boost which is a little cheap

Hisuian Growlithe is also very common from eggs, and occasional in the wild. 

I have one sitting at my house right now. Research breakthroughs don't feel special, it's usually just a chore to catch them so you can keep on doing field research. I guess the slim chance of a remote raid pass is still something.

I got one yesterday as well. I thought why tf is growlithe in this reward pool. Then I remembered hisuian growlithe is and that it was likely a bug.

Kanto Growlithe is still in the regular seasonal field research. Was the research to spin 5 gyms or stops?
