I was only a teenager when Drew got injured and he was my favorite pats player. I met him, went to his camp etc. I only remembering him handling all of it so well then coming back to help pats win. The new doc on the pats goes into more and now as an adult I could only imagine the emotions he felt getting injured star of the franchise then bill saying not going with you. After all that Drew was a class act and still is my favorite Pats player. Waited in that snow storm with my dad, uncle and cousin for season tickets! Drrreww.

My guess is Bill might have been sold on Brady and traded Drew after the 2001 season anyway. Prob don’t win in 2001 but bet the dynasty still happens.
