Complete History of America: Abridged is hilarious and slightly more accessible for the average audience than the complete works of Shakespeare: abridged. But they’re both equally entertaining.
*Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead* is a classic, well worth performing.
In 2022, my son performed in *Fortinbras* by Lee Blessing, which is a rather silly comic sequel to *Hamlet.* There are 15 roles, but some can be doubled. (My son played Barnardo/English Ambassador/Hamlet's Father.)
