Aww! It might not be the family's copy of the photo. One of my older brothers got pictures taken when he was little and the photographer asked to use one as a display in their studio (it was really cute!).
The same happened with one of my older brothers! As a baby he gave strangers a “suspicious” look with his eyebrows down with a little pouty lip. The camera man captured it of course, and then asked if he could display a copy. :)

I think we all go through phases over our lifetimes where we hate, tolerate, or like our old photos, based on how far removed from them we are. I'm at a point in my life (mid-40s), where I'm starting to appreciate even my teen pics.

Everything we own are “rented” in the sense that we don’t ever really own them. We don’t even own our own flesh. I hope when im a ghost I can see people get excited finding my stuff in the stores 😂
