titsupintherhubarb

Dude was ready to murder his whole family

roastytoastywarm

Around the 20 second mark I said, “welp they better tell him soon”, then I saw a whole extra minute and thought there was no way it could end good.

Iamvanno

Well if murder is on the menu, it's because FAT HER knows best!

zouhair

To be fair that was a bad joke. She started with two word then asked him to say them, he did it right. The "y e s|e y e s" one is better.

drasquared

Omg I don’t get it! *embarrassed* but I must know lol *

zouhair

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4ramoioWnw

drasquared

That was great thank you!!!

maybeSkywalker

E-Y-E? That’s *EWE*

[deleted]

At least when he got it he laughed Very wholesome Tbf

Mysterious_Nerve9433

Only half goon in the end

DreadnoughtOverdrive

> Dude was ready to murder his whole family Understandably. They took it WAY too far, and seemed to relish it.

kinos141

Understandably so. Lol.

BOBfrkinSAGET

Same. I know I want to murder my whole family every time I am mildly confused about something that doesn’t really matter and is kind of funny.

BurdenlessPotato

Lot of weird takes in this comment section. He’s a fat her and his kids are making a dumb joke. He shouldn’t be getting this upset and angry about something stupid. Every time I see people get angry like this over nothing I seriously worry

warhugger

Honestly, this doesn't seem bad at all to me. The kids are all super comfy and even the mom's laughing, you can hear how they're enjoying it. There's no fear, dudes communicating his frustration, sure he's yelling but dudes aware and openly telling them. Notice how he changes immediately? It wasn't real anger as much as being upset as he states once he gets the right word out. Dudes frustrated about not being in on the joke which i feel has happened to everyone at some point. As soon as he's realized the joke his whole demeanor changes, he understands, dudes even like taking the whole blame. This is a healthy family.

BOBfrkinSAGET

I agree. I really couldn’t tell if he was just playing it up for the camera or if he was legitimately upset.

N3Zt0R

I like how he chilled the fuck out once he found out

KitKittredge34

“Almost lost my cool there”

HillaryPutin

You guys almost made me raise my voice

SlaveHippie

Look what you made me do!

[deleted]

You can tell he's that way, they weren't scared for a second. I love when people express themselves like that.

threetealeaves

Yes, that was the best part about it, to me. He was so mad, and totally free expressing it, and they weren’t scared. And when he got it he did immediate reversal and laughed with them. That family has some good juju ♥️

[deleted]

must be my childhood but anyone getting angry or yelling immediately makes me very uncomfortable

threetealeaves

I understand, it wasn’t very fun for me to watch either. I grew up in a household where an angry father was scary, and no one else was allowed to express anger, or even upset or frustration. That screws up communication dynamics for life unless you get some therapy and work it out. In this family, even as the dad is expressing emotion he is also explaining where he is on the scale, and they clearly aren’t afraid of him. They do keep pushing for the sake of the joke and he gets very frustrated, but in the end “they’re all friends” - overall it’s way way healthier than what I grew up with.

TakeshiMibu

I feel the first part of what you said completely, that's how it was for me with my dad even if we loved each other. And yeah maybe they know when he is truely mad so they weren't scared here cause they knew he wasn't at that level where they go "oh shit, he is mad mad now" and take it seriously.

obstinatemleb

The best and worst part about growing up and meeting new people was realizing that most of my friends grew up in families where their parents never got "truly mad." I grew up in a very chaotic household, learning to navigate my parents moods. I have 2 other friends who were in similar situations, but the rest of them never dealt with half the stuff we did. It's a sobering realization that the way you grew up isn't what most people experience, but it also gives you some hope for the future. That you can be better to the people around you than your parents were to you.

Rubbish_Bunny

Same. If this was me and my siblings and our dad, the *minute* he started raising his voice, the joke would’ve been over and we would have stopped. God help us if it managed to reach the point where he had to *tell us* that he was getting mad. We knew from experience that that was not a point we wanted to get to. So yeah. Watching this made me *very* uncomfortable as well…

[deleted]

Yeah my dad has a temper problem, and I have some bad memories from it. Other family members of mine also get pretty heated and I get so anxious when I hear any sort of yelling now :(

mintyblush

I was getting uncomfortable watching this too

crawdad1757

Right there with ya

[deleted]

Can I ask what ethnicity you are just curious about the effects of culture on a person. As a Jew spend his whole life around other Jews and Italians this is pretty mellow

EastAway9458

I thought the same thing. You get the sense he’s a great fat her to his kids 😌

[deleted]

Yeah this is a cultural thing. To some cultures he would look like an absolute lunatic but growing up around Italians and Jews this is pretty calm

Sensitive-Arm-8161

He reminds me of my older brother.. a very aggressive person but lots of fun once you realize he is harmless.

bakabich69

lmao reminded me of Mr. Incredible fr "MATH IS MATH??" ![gif](giphy|2sddZ3k7yxiVWpFdH3)

OwOtisticWeeb

This is just uncomfortable to watch.

Neiot

As someone with an abusive father who would have pinned me to the ground for making him look like a fool, yeah, I couldn't watch this without my fight or flight activated.

yourbadformylungs

I’m not assuming this guy is a loose canon or abusive or anything based off the video but my dad has anger issues and its to the point you cannot play pranks on his like this because he gets so humiliated and upset. When he starts screaming like that somebody better tell him whats up because he’s about to go off. Or of course he’ll just loose his shit to manipulate or because his ego was bruised. Fun times.

MikeisET

Are you guys making fun of me? Yes we are and now we post it!!!

gjmcphie

Contrary to a lot of these comments, I think he's playing his frustration up and enjoys making his family laugh

bobsmith93

That's how I read it, if he was actually serious they wouldn't be giggling like that. I'm sure he has a special tone and composure he uses when he actually means business and I'm sure if he used it they'd stop pretty quickly

[deleted]

No, there’s literally non verbal cues that he is actually angry like spit coming out his mouth and he has to inconspicuously wipe it away and the lip shake when he yells. It’s all very real. The family is ass towards him because he is verbally letting them know he is getting upset severely times and they don’t respect his boundaries. It’s literally bullying at this point.

[deleted]

I'm gonna assume the family knows his personality better outside of this tiktok clip than perhaps you give them credit for.

[deleted]

[удалено]

NGEvangelion

Coming from a family that 100% ignores my feelings and explicit statements (aka "I really honestly am mad, please stop"), the moment he stated he's not calm anymore hit different. People do laugh at others being mad and it does escalate things horribly

HelicopteroDeAtaque

Agreed, after he said that it stopped being funny instantly and I felt bad for the guy.

royalhawk345

>People do laugh people being mad and it does escalate things horribly Yeah I had a coworker at a customer service job that did this and it was really annoying because it only made people madder.

MathematicianNo7842

family having fun at the dinner table? that's bullying fucking reddit

bobsmith93

I thought about all of that as well, and it's entirely possible. My take is that he was just acting it up for laughs and is just good at it. Like he may have been a tiny bit worked up and just used that and went with it for laughs. I'm not them though, I could be wrong. Would be interesting to know

Mythologicalcats

100% lol anyone with an actual angry dad growing up knows this isn’t how they’d react

[deleted]

If the family thought he was scary, they showed no indication.

turnonthebrightlies

He was ready to fight 😬

Separate-Scratch-839

So wound up I’m surprised he didn’t stroke out.

mrziplockfresh

Seems like the kind of person who gets angry when their intelligence feels threatened. But I’m no dentist.

cruzifyre

Spell dent

mrziplockfresh

D-E-N-T. easy

cruzifyre

Now spell ist

mrziplockfresh

I-S-T. cmon it’s literally right there on the screen

cruzifyre

Okay what is it together?

Affectionate-Spot233

Dent Ist. I don't get it. Are you making fun of me?

camoclyde

This is fucking hilarious. I wish I could upvote it harder

nolabitch

I’m so uncomfortable with his vibe.

jm13ee

Same, that was terrifying

msotfju-jkh1235

I was expecting the person filming to get smacked 😭

[deleted]

He looks like he may have acromegaly. A disease that inspired the movie Shrek. If he isn’t already diagnosed he should see his primary care physician for a complete blood count and an IGF test. I’m only a dentist, but I see the onset of a pretty drastic class 3 jaw relation occurring that orthodontics can’t touch. He even has macroglossia..poor guy.

hitmeagainnoplzdont

I've been diagnosed with acromegaly due to a tumor and after 3 surgeries and 2 years of chemo, I'm still struggling to keep my IGF levels low (or in accordance with what's appropriate for my age). Thankfully it hadn't progressed to cause any deformities to my face or anywhere else really but the size of my feet and hands has really grown to the point where I find it extremely difficult to find well fitting shoes or rings. Thanks for sharing about the disease and warning someone in good faith. Its not the most deadliest of diseases but it causes great discomfort and pain and I hope this man is able to seek treatment should he be diagnosed with it.

AttitudeAndEffort3

What is IGF?

hitmeagainnoplzdont

It's insulin growth factor. A hormone responsible for growth of bones and muscles. It spikes during puberty and usually comes down around late teen years. Hence the growth spurt. My IGF at 22 was three times the normal level. I was later diagnosed with a brain tumor in my pituitary gland (which produces IGF) and the tumor was aggravating IGF production.

Scuba_Stever

Frontal bossing is completely absent though. As an anesthesia doctor all I see is a difficult intubation minus acromegaly. Good on you for keeping an eye out though I'd test anyone remotely syndromic just in case as their glycaemic control is atrocious.

ThisOnePlaysTooMuch

Damn this family dropped the ball. He expresses verbally that he is embarrassed and upset, and they don’t drop the joke. Not cool.

imzcj

I popped into the comments to look for anybody else who might have also thought that letting someone stay upset, over essentially nothing, for 2mins was too long.

peech13

Yeah this is really uncomfortable.

selphiefairy

It was uncomfortable but tbh I’m more concerned he guy got that upset in the first place.

eatflapjacks

He also gets way too upset, like a kid. Both parties need to be better

Vok250

Looks like he has a speech impediment so it's kind of bad sportsmanship to make fun of word pronunciations. Guys his age were probably bullied viciously their entire childhood for conditions like that and received absolutely zero support. Not cool.

BartleBossy

> Looks like he has a speech impediment so it's kind of bad sportsmanship to make fun of word pronunciations. Theyre not making fun of word pronunciation. Theyre making fun of the fact that he cannot connect the dots between FAT HER and FATHER

Vok250

Bruh. Do I really need to spell it out. Are ya'll really to dense to see the connection there? Literally asking the dude to "sound it out"... That's gotta be a soft spot.

VagueSomething

He's upset because he has his family around him all laughing with a camera shoved in his face. They clearly started recording mid way through winding him up. He's frustrated because he understands something is wrong but his brain seems to not click the issue. Not everyone works the same, some people struggle with numbers others with words. The family clearly knew he'd struggle and wanted this reaction so goaded him to be worked up. My (essentially) father in law is middle aged and when he was in school the teachers mocked and wrote him off as thick for being dyslexic. He struggles with spelling words and the trauma of his youth means he gets quickly frustrated despite being a kind person. There's a strong chance this dude was too. If you're over 40 there's a major chance your education was hampered by the ignorance of the time. Even in your 30s you may have missed the changes truly helping with things like learning difficulties. This video would have been kinda funny if it was half as long. Like ask him a few times then ask him to spell father. By isolating him for so long it just becomes awkward to watch.

selphiefairy

That’s a lot of speculation just to defend his anger. I agree they didn’t need to drag it out for so long though.

VagueSomething

Dude is clearly not 20 and therefore from a time where even the more progressive Western countries shamed mental issues of all kinds. Kids getting beatings at schools by teachers for being stupid actually happened. Calling a kid with learning difficulties a thicko would be from the teachers let alone kids. You can literally see the trauma in older people from how they behave, there's a reason particularly Boomers and Gen X react in a very visceral manner. You can see things trigger them due to their exposure when young. You see Millennials react that way to other things and give it another decade or two and we'll see Gen Z have similar trauma behaviours. This is why anyone talking about the good old days should be mocked and shunned. They're always calling for others to suffer because "they came out fine" as if wanting others to suffer how you did is healthy.

Quithpa

Yeah, im not a smart guy, and my stupidity frustrates me . These types of jokes fool me as well, and I get really upset about it. So this kinda upsets me that they don't drop the joke either. Now, whenever people set me up for jokes like this, I don't even try. Just because I'm not smart, it shouldn't be used as a game for other people's amusement or tiktok views.

Vok250

Appreciate your honesty bro. Sorry for all the bullies that pick on dumb men. There's rarely much empathy in society for us dudes, especially those with struggles. Women definitely get it bad too, especially if they are blonde. My wife has a 4.2 GPA and a masters in STEM, but still gets blonde jokes constantly. Though to be fair sometimes she is asking for it. The first time she met my dad she asked him "What kind of soda? Coke? Sprite?" when taking about the recipe for his soda cake. Baking soda babe... baking soda.

Bail-Me-Out

To be fair, I have seen recipes for cake that use both coke and sprite!

Quithpa

Yeh, I think girls have a hard time of it often as well whether they are blonde or not and are called ditzy because they didn't know something. That's awesome that your wife is super smart. My wife is smart as well and working on a masters degree. I think she balances out my stupidity, but I feel bad that when I try to get a better paying job or something. Currently, I'm going to school and struggling because I just can't pick things up or retain information like most people can.

[deleted]

Dads get the brunt of jokes lol. I think they mean well..let’s hope they do atleast.

ThisOnePlaysTooMuch

Seems like they meant well, and he took it well. Please be more accommodating than this family, people❤️

[deleted]

Totally agree with you we shouldn’t joke about people with a clear medical problem like the majority of people in the comments are doing.

Silver_Millenial

He doesn't look particularly large. Similar facial proportions can be a result of a degree of microcephaly. I want to address it likely being microcephaly because people are already ridiculing him. The human mind is vast and magnificent, some are smaller, some are larger. You wouldn't say Eurasia is a worthwhile continent, and North America deserves to be ridiculed because it is so much smaller. To those people I would say: Remember that within the people around you are vast untold worlds. Nothing you ever design or create or bring into this world will be 1/100th as complex and beautiful as the mind of another. Think about that as you look down on others. Edit: ToothFairy1942 blocked me so I can't reply to him, but it's kinda weird to react with hostility to someone urging for greater compassion. Microcephaly is a real disease real people suffer from, the fact that it registers as an insult to you says more about you.

Chewy009x

I thought shrek was inspired by Ogres and Fairytales

Witchykunt887

Ok, but was it really necessary to point out his supposed disability ?? Like what if he is already diagnosed ?? And it also wasn’t necessary to say “poor guy” either. A lot of disabled people live wonderful lives without their disability being the center of every conversation.

[deleted]

Idk man. That was a lot of embarrassment and ridicule for a barely funny payoff.

UncleSam_TAF

And like why not let him in on it after a few times instead of just letting it go on and on?

AtmosphereSad7329

Yeah I’m pretty much in the side of, he was getting embarrassed and they kept doubling down. ITs like in between, yeah it’s a dumb thing to get angry at, but also you set him up for this logic short circuiting and didn’t have the emotional intelligence or care to let him in on it once it’s taken a pretty negative effect.

Gammelpreiss

welcome to family

rahrahla

Nah, that's shitty family dynamics. A lot of things we'd consider unacceptable in most other relationships (e.g. having firm boundaries be respected) are swept away in the name of 'family'.

OfCourse4726

it's only embarrassing because he raged.

boukalele

yeah that shit went on way too long. those feelings of being ridiculed don't just go away after they let him in on it. so they embarrassed him twice on purpose for tiktok views.

Junglejibe

Idk man it seems a lot more like this guy just has anger issues that made this whole thing uncomfortable. He embarrassed himself.

[deleted]

While it's funny, some people just simply don't know when to stop a joke 😂 what's the point of angering him to the point that he's about to slap one of them

vinbug

Dude has some serious anger issues

radmanmadical

Yeah - this could be the official video reel for what emotional immaturity is

[deleted]

You’ve got a room full of people putting you on the spot, laughing with their phones pointed at you. I’d get annoyed too. And it’s not like these are random people he’s being short with, it’s his family, that probably make fun of him all the time so he knew exactly what this was. Then, he calmed down immediately when he realized he was the idiot. Seems like a relatively chill dude to me. Maybe a little short tempered, sure. But emotionally immature, let alone the official reel for it? Nah dude

UnprofessionalGhosts

>Maybe a little short tempered My friend, I’ve literally never seen this kind of anger in my life and I’m from a city known for its anger. I have a sibling with anger issues and this makes him look like a kitten. There is no planet on which this is an appropriate response to things, much less familial teasing among loved ones.

Killer_Moons

That made me so nervous. I felt like he was going to hit them or something, I’m still nervous :(

LePetitePoopoo

She’s his fat her

wubbalubbadubdublan

He's her fat her

jobidiya

Bro has got the blood of the first men in him

RamsHead91

Let's be fair her. He was articulating his feelings as he didn't understand which is significantly more than most men would do.

Orpheus-is-a-Lyre

Man I hate this. Question is deliberately phrased to trick you. But then they spend 2 minutes acting like the dad is too dumb to breathe because he… fell for the trap you set for him?

_Apatosaurus_

Yeah, that was just mean.

Agent_129

Dude looks like the father from the Croods

2AspirinL8TR

The face model for Easter Island 🗿

fearabsence

What a fragile ego

CatProfessional5369

Combined with anger issues. His level of rage for something so silly is creepy.

AllElvesAreThots

cringe, Jesus man why do people do this and why would you upload it? He's clearly upset and he's saying he doesn't understand but you're laughing at him.

[deleted]

Damn your dad needs to chill the fuck out.

Plane-Active-3153

I find his level of rage Distinctly unfunny

Legitimate_Dark_5015

This dude had to be brazy in highschool wrestling

TonyDildoni

What a fun guy!

HelicopteroDeAtaque

This dude looks like he has a very similar personality than my father and when he said "I'm actually getting mad" and saw his body language I felt really bad about him. He meant what he said, and it wasn't nice of his family to keep the joke for as long as it lasted. My mother used to do that to my father (trying to make him look stupid), to be fair my father isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's a chill and simple guy who's afraid of what he doesn't understand and expressed that fear as anger.

A_lot_of_arachnids

Lol this is exactly like my uncle. Gets mad so easy when he can't understand a joke. The kind of person to be able to make fun of you but you joke about him and he won't speak to you for a week. I can't stand rage like that. It's the kind of person you have to walk on eggshells around. It's like a sign of less intelligence because they lack critical thinking. Monkey brain just gets mad immediately.

OfCourse4726

i couldnt even laugh at this. this guy rages way too easily. it scares me.

AmpersandTheMonkey

Dude calm tf down, jesus

Resident_Solution_43

nah he got way too mad

EnoughLuck3077

That my fat her all day long. Quick to a nuclear meltdown with an instant cooling at the moment of understanding. I hate that fat bitch

blastedtopher

Haha. Everyone has had a moment like that, in some fashion. You lying otherwise. Good for him to laugh at it. Funny tho

5nsfav

Technically... Ehrm, daddy is right, initially, FAT then HER was asked to be spelled, then they asked dad to say it together, so, FATHER... They didn't say COMBINE it... So them kids are the dumb fucks.

Present-Ad3167

Yeah it was really bad delivery. They just kept saying “say it together!” I’ve only seen it where victim of the joke isn’t told the words outright but it’s spelled out for them, for example: “What does ‘Y-E-S’ spell?” *”yes”* “What does ‘E-Y-E-S’ spell?” *”…..e-yes.”*

Imissflawn

Fat Her! Fat Her! Fatterman

jsande3909k

LonelyCakeEater

He seems like an asshole honestly. Their just used to it. But i can definitely see this dude being the asshole manager at a job.

[deleted]

This is a man who does **not** like to be laughed at.

Less-Lingonberry8700

This guy has serious anger management issues. No need to be screaming at everyone over that, it’s not good for his heart

LuckyWiz30

Dunno about this one man. Bro obviously struggles with intense emotions and letting him sit there feeling so frustrated, angry and humiliated for so long for a literal nothing payoff. Yeah idk man.

crypt0sn1p3r

Goddamn lmao but he took it well in the end

MonsieurKas

He nearly killed his family. That's how family dramas start.

FartyPat

This dude has some evolving to do…
