I'm having the same issue. So frustrating, I need captions to help understand the vids I'm watching!

I reported it to tiktok and they responded asking if it was a few or all videos, I told them all, we'll see if anything happens

Nothing seems to have happened yet as I'm still experiencing the same issue... this is infuriating, I literally depend on captions

I have the exact same problem! What's worse, I never had the option to turn them on in the first place. If I turned them off, I had to reinstall the app for the captions to show again... I really hope this gets solved for us ;_;

Same here. I don't know what's going on and I'm hard of hearing so I am pissed off that I can't see them on other folks' videos! Weird thing is I'm not seeing alot of ppl complaining about this online, so it must not be a widespread problem.
