It’s a psychological thing. Of course everyone understands that, logically, if you shoot something in the heart, it’ll die instantly. But actually watching it happen in real time is very different. Seeing how quick something can go from perfectly healthy and alive to dead from something as tiny as a bullet is very emotional for a lot of people and changes their perspective on a lot of things. So the fact that the girl in the pic presumably just shot this deer, immediately decapitated and is seemingly unaffected is a bit jarring.
For me, it's an emotional moment of gratitude for the deer's life. I don't take it lightly and aside from maybe taking a normal picture of the deer with me in it for game warden evidence and posterity, this isn't tasteful but tasteful profiles aren't very common in tinder 😆
