Congratulations, I hope you're feeling ok. Mines on March 3rd and the closer it gets the more nervous I am. I want the relief but surgery still scares me dozens after my first.
I was super scared before especially having 5 face piercings but last thing I remember was being given the anxiety medication and next thing im awake and in bed and some staff around making sure im comfortable and feel good. Congrats on the date!!
Luckily I only have ears pierced (not that I ever wear earrings anymore) and my two tats should be easy to save (ones shoulder it'll be fine the other is high enough on my chest it shouldn't affect anything) .
I've had dozens of eye and other emergency medical surgeries in my life but they've all been minor or minimally invasive, so I'm worried about pain since I have chronic pain already and already know opioids don't do much but I have to use more than recommended doses of OTC pain meds for any relief if I take them (so I rarely take anything as a result)

Happy recovery! Just had my surgery today! Hope you’re doing well
You too, where did you go for yours?
I was with Dr. Garramone down in Florida
I hear he’s really good
Hope recovery goes smoothly!! How’re you feeling?
Pretty sore but pushing thru!
