Probably depends on how you drive it.
Not to sound rude but its usually a skill issue.
Also the temperature is a huge factor in economy on hybrids. The batterys do way more of theblifting in warm temperatures
Yeh I noticed that when it's cold that it takes a long time to drive electric in the city. While it's warming up the liter per 100km is crazy... So I guess in the Netherlands this car isn't quite the best option.
But my best performance on a tank is 4,8liter per 100km.
I'm actually trying my hardest to drive as efficient as possible, although sometimes it is very tempting to pull up fastly.
I live and drive my 1.8 chr in the Netherlands aswel. Its a 2018 executive.
It really comes down to how you drive it. I personally find people just cant drive for shit, getting poor fuel economy as a result.
In the winter i get around 1:18 and in the summer 1:20.
I have the feeling my fueltank is smaller than, when the indicator gets orange around 30liter goes in.
Because my 5ish liter per 100km is the same as 1:20 right?
The C-HR was only ever made with 1 fueltank.
There is only a 43L regardless of what year or country.
That being said the orange light usually doesnt mean the tank is actually empty.
I've heard people say they could do 100+km with the light on on a chr fb group im in.
And yea you are correct on that conversion
yeah it does, i did research and it said it could get over 300 miles but i haven’t been able to, it always stops at 270 and can last me a week, i drive a lot so im always refueling every week which is a bummer
Yeah what i got it for reliability and good on gas but it's failed me for both as I'm learning from this post 😭
I do drive a lot in city, and its not a hybrid but I guess 270-280mi pero fill is not good enough!?
What would be the problem with my car if it's only giving me 270-280mi per fill? Is it something I'm doing wrong? Cz even in eco mode that's the range it gives me. Like 27mpg.
I haven’t tried getting near the need gas light to come on but the most i have gotten is around the 390..pretty sure i can probably hit 400-440 miles on a full tank
I drove from Wigan to Southport yesterday (about 20 miles on semi rural roads) and got 75 MPG if the display is to be believed. This is a 1.8 hybrid in eco mode
At new my 21 ( non hybrid 2.0 ) got 350, but I was driving into town ( up hill), school zone speed to 70, I lived in a valley, so going back home I coasted back down. now, I live on a hill on a state highway that's 75 mph. I average around 320. Newer my husband to it and got 400 miles on it. I have no cue how... he is usually heavy footed !
Between 700-800km easily, So thats 440-500 miles in freedom units 1.8 hybrid
Seriously, how tho??? My indicator says around 700km on a full fuel tank. But i usually get around 600-640km

Somewhere around 480 miles now the weather is getting better. 415 in winter
Yea around 280. Range kinda sucks it’s a small tank. Best to leave it on eco mode

Such a small tank! I love my CHR, but wish it was a bigger tank
On highway around 500km and 600-700km with city driving where the hybrid shines. 1.8 liter variant
I fill up and get 268-270. It’s not as good as I thought. Also not running eco mode for reasons

It’s just got a smaller tank is all. My wife’s Honda civic gets close to 400 on a full tank
~360 miles, sometimes a little more. I’m on a 2021 2.0L non hybrid. I drive mostly highly and get 32-33 mpg overall
I’m pretty happy with my mpg and actually astonished seeing some of the mpg and ranges you all are having
270-280
What the hell how are you driving that far thats absolutely terrible 😂
What? Lol it's not a hybrid
Thats also terrible for a non hybrid
Really? What would you say is a good range?
Atleast 350 ish

It's not a problem with the car it just has a small gas tank.
Is it a problem w how I'm driving it? (Judging from other comments) but i don't understand what I could do better ?
No, I have a 2020, they just have small tanks, and since it's not a hybrid we don't get the extra mileage.
300-330 miles (If I do a lot of highway driving)
315-340 miles per tank in my 2019 limited
I haven’t tried getting near the need gas light to come on but the most i have gotten is around the 390..pretty sure i can probably hit 400-440 miles on a full tank
2017 1.8 hybrid I get around 490 miles from a full tank. U.K
I drove from Wigan to Southport yesterday (about 20 miles on semi rural roads) and got 75 MPG if the display is to be believed. This is a 1.8 hybrid in eco mode
It's usually between 50-70 mpg for me. I'm at the stage now where I try to beat my last score on every journey.
i used to get 310 but ever since i got a ticket and started driving like a granny my car says 364 on full… but I dont believe it
