I'm at about a 1000 miles from new amd it's still going up, at about 36.1 right now, how long until you got yours into the 40s?

TheHebrewHammer01

Bought mine in December. I was messing with the radio about 2 months ago and reset my total average but I think at that point I was at 39.7. I have noticed now that it's warmer where I live MPG is much better. Also I only use Exxon gas in my car, only times I don't is when I need gas and no other option.

Wazaldo

Do you recommend resetting the total average on a new Crown or should this be done after a few months? Just got my Crown platinum last week and I'm still digging through the settings and owner's manual.

TheHebrewHammer01

No the reset was an accident. There is a MPG section on the radio and there is button that says update so you can create a bar graph of your MPG but it resets the total on the gauge cluster. I don't plan on ever resetting it unless I come across a good reason to do so.

Wazaldo

Got it, thanks for the clarification!

Sussler

I typically get the same numbers as you but got 52.8 on a 7 mile trip in heavy slow traffic but not stop and go.

That's great! I brought my Crown Limited last month. I was just wondering if there is any way to see mileage for Trip A and Trip B. I know we can see total average or Trip average but I dont know if we can see what's the mpg for Trip A because I reset it when I refuel.

The way I have mine set up like you see the top is total and the bottom is the trip average. If you want the full trip screen to display you need to hold down the OK button and hit the cursor to the left or right. It should have the trip A and B widget. If you don't see it initially while on the left side hit the left cursor one more time and it will bring up the menu to add or remove widgets you should see the trip option there.

trinathreddyinturi

I can see the Trip option, but It only shows Trip avg speed and Trip Time but not Trip mpg....

TheHebrewHammer01

I think the only way then is to do trip plus the widget like I have my gauge cluster set up.

Toyota hybrids take about 10k miles to break in and give great results

imdrunkontea

I average 50-55 mpg on my commute sonce it's basically the ideal conditions, it's great lol

Wish we got these in Australia

madaddyml

Which trim is it ? I doubt crown platinum gives that much ?

TheHebrewHammer01

23 limited is what I have.

Striper1955

Cant wait to get the Insignia wagon in US

TheHebrewHammer01

My wife's car is a 2018 Equinox, we don't have any kids yet but when we are ready for a new SUV I will definitely consider the signia to replace the equinox.

NanoDickEnergy

Got the 23 limited w/ Tech Package as well. Gets a lot of attention. I love it.

madaddyml

Better to edit it to say its Crown limited MPG, misleading for new platinum owners

Mt035

Is there a way to make your radar tell the speed limit? Bc on mine it doesn’t show me the speed limit even thou it’s a premium 23’ model

TheHebrewHammer01

When you say tell you the speed limit your talking about the speed sign like it shows in my picture?

Mt035

Exactly

TheHebrewHammer01

In your digital gauge cluster you need to open up the settings and make sure the "RSA" is turned on. I also found out recently that if you hold down the OK button on RSA you set the notification level to 1,3 or5 mph over. I changed mine to 5 over.
