The consensus on the sub is Michelin Cross Climate 2. They carry them at Costco which is the best price in my neck of the woods. Will be going to them when my initial set wears out.

TimmyRiggs33

This is the way.

I have a '22 Venza with CC2s and LOVE THEM! Bought them for the year-round abilities and wasn't disappointed. Their snow handling is amazing and now I don't have to swap winter/summer tires!

WhatHmmHuh

When going to discount. Take a video of your dash with the car on. Turn it off and the turn it on again. What you want to prove is if they damage the TPDS that they have to pay for repair. A softer tire will help with a more quiet ride, but not a whole lot. Also it is my understanding that all seasons may be a little noisier.

Classic-Falcon6010

First, what is a TPDS? The system is called a TPMS. M for Monitor. And tell me how a tire company damages your system? Did you have one damage a sensor?

WhatHmmHuh

Sorry. Wrong acronym. Tire Pressure Monitoring System. TPMS Yes. A Discount Tire in my area damaged one replacing a tire. I don’t know how they did it, but I did not pay attention to my dash for a few days and when I noticed the dash light it a few days later, I took it back and asked them to repair. Their response was they did not do it. I said I did not have the light before you replaced the tires, but now I do. They still denied it. It was on a Lexus so it was not cheap to repair. Lesson learned.

Classic-Falcon6010

How old a Lexus? Surprised they wouldn't offer to help. Sensors aren't expensive, except at the Lexus dealer.

My 2022 limited has 190,000 miles on it. I use to Goodrich Assurance Max… quieter and long lasting. Original tires lasted 72,000 miles, Goodrich Assurance Max lasted just over 100,000 miles, (all highway driving). On my second set of Max… Did drop my mileage from 44 to 40.5, but I’ll take that trade off. I always order from Tirerack.com.

Classic-Falcon6010

Holy moly! You are the mileage king as far as I’ve heard, and I’m one of the top people before you posted. I’ve “only” put 94,000 on in 3 years between my ‘21 that now is driven by my girlfriend and my 6 month old ‘24.

Funkyfoot44

I just replaced mine at 38,000 miles. I went with Michelin Defender 2’s. So far I’m satisfied with the ride and overall performance. Only have about 600 miles on them at this point.

Classic-Falcon6010

Both my ‘21 and ‘24 are wearing Michelin CC2. Quieter, lost a couple MPG, but wet traction is WAY better, and that’s the most important factor for me in commuting over the Oregon Coast Range. I swapped the ‘21 at about 38K - not worn out but was worried about supply chain availability back then. Did the ‘24 immediately after buying and traded off the Ecopias.

Classic-Falcon6010

Oh I forgot - bought mine at a local Michelin dealer that I have a business relationship with (I am the parts purchasing person for a school transportation shop). Michelin has a relationship with many shops that can honor your warranty. Ask for details before you buy.

hyphy505

TBH, if a quiet ride is important to you at all, trade the car in. I have a 24' Limited and the one glaring problem I have with it is road noise. Idk if the 22' is the same but there isn't a tire out there that'll make it "quiet"

CaterpillarUsed3222

Just upgraded to the cross climates 2 last Saturday, the original Bridgestone were worn out on the edges on my 23 XLE, 2 tires were shot. So far I love the new tires road noise is better and traction is great. I know from previous experience that they are not as fuel efficient as the Bridgestone's but they are very quiet and tons of grip. The tires were $275 each including the roadside assistant service and mounting/balance at Sam's club.

darkelipse04

I’m not a fan of the tread pattern on the cross climate 2. I’ll be going with the Bridgestone Weatherpeak once the time comes.

roxycj101

I have a 22 Venza with 46k miles and tires are still good. Will probably need to replace around 55k. Toyota dealership says tread is still good. Tires look fine to me
